Anita,
I'm always one of the last to comment cause I'm always catching up it seems, but today I'm one of the first. Where do I start with this post? It is such a delightful one. I have always wanted to go to New York too. It would be fun to plan a trip there with the girls. The quote 'If I could give you one thing in life" is so special, and I am going to write that one down. Oh, the pictures of Greece are just beautiful!! They are one of the prettiest pictures I've seen. I don't know if you know of not, but I am part Greek, on my father's side. It is a wonderful culture with the people and the food and their history that goes so far back. Isn't Dawn's postcard picture lovely? I saw that on her blog too. And I LOVE LOVE the picture of the lady with the red hat! I wish I had that picture in my home. All your questions were answered so eloquently, and you have a way with words, my sweet friend. I loved this post so much, and I thank you for brightening my day with it.

Dear Anita -

Je t'aime aussi! We agree on many, many favourites. If ever you get a chance to go to Greece for a dream holiday ask me should you need any advice. I hade the enormous luck of working in Greece for two years and whilst I certainly did not get a chance to visit the whole of that stunning country I know a few corners of paradise.

A bientôt ma belle.

HOW FUN to learn more personal things about Vous (did I use that corretctly)
Or isn't it "tu" if it a more personal use of YOU
(I don't know what I am talking bout)

LOVE YOUR photo at the beginning. Such a beautiful lady.

Some of your favorite things were the same or similar to mine.

I WOULD LOVE to visit Santorini Greece. My dream destination, but I don't think I'll ever get there , not really.
The Judge I worked for in Salt Lake City was Greek and I loved hearing of his culture.

I much prefer dogs over cats. DID I TELL YOU THE STORY about when my boys were reall little and how they named their dog "MOOCHEE"
I can't remember if I told you, so IF NOT...let me know as it would make you giggle.

Aslo, if you like dogs, rent of netflix the movie HACHI: A Tale Of A Dog. True story and was delightful.

I watch too much tv, but simply becaue I don't work, and living in the country....during long cold winters it keeps me occupied.

BUT I LOVE reading too.
and blogging (tee,hee)

YOU DON'T SNACK...you are my hero. I have cut way back on my snacking and trying to loose weight. Such a grind.
BUT IF I COULD, I'd prefer salty over sweet. Salt and Vinegar potatoe chips are a fav of mine.

Anyway, enough of that.
It was fun for you to share these thoughts of yours with us.

Vous et mon ami (did I do that right??)

I love this post, it's so nice to read more about you and I agree about Paris and New York. Both are full of romance and promise and I have fond memories of both.
Have a wonderful weekend,

Oh how I always love your new posts ...Always surprising me/us .
You are a true artist in every way .
You are so beautiful on your picture ....
Do you think we will ever meet ....
oh ....I muse and muse and muse .
My Elisabeth had her fourth chemo last thursday . Two to go .
In the beginning of all her boyfriend told her he could not handle all of this ( she HAS TO )
and he left but kept coming and than he left again and so on .
She was so heartbroken . And so alone and my heart cried for her .
But I know life comes back with lots of goods ....betters .....and BEST'S .
And than she came to know he was having e new relation from the first time he said he could not handle it . For a whole weekend she did not want to come out of her bed. And than she asked if I was okay if she was going to stay for a while with friends of our family . They live in the country and have a beautiful house and its very peaceful overthere . Our friends are wonderful cooks and they indulge her very much .
With her blackberry and my Iphone we keep in touch.
My daugther Anna moved back to Holland from France and is now very busy making her new appartment nice and a home .
She is staying here for two weeks and than ......her own place !
It's nice to have a daugther around .
I wish you a lovely weekend sweet friend

So many thoughts here to muse upon. None of them a surprise since you wear your passions on your sleeve, lovely lady. The dog picture resonated with me today as I am down with the flu and Petunia has been terribly sweet... nuzzling and taking care of me (even skipped her last walk so I could rest). I have often thought that a dog expresses pure love so often when they look at you... it really does make a lousy day better.

PS Love your little theatre with a curtain... how terribly romantic. I have been known to spray a little perfume from my scent library before settling in to a guilty pleasure viewing... cup of tea, glass of wine and I am a perfect princess for the afternoon.

Wonderful piece... we can see the world as a diamond or a lump of coal ... up to us.

Hello Anita! :) Thank you, glad that you like the hairpin.I have made one tiara with wire and pearls in different natural colors.I will upload some photos of it to my fb page soon.
I was thinking before of making a tiara with the stars/starfishes,a whole bunch of them clustered.Though I do think a few of them would work as well, though.I could also make a headband! :)

Hello my friend! Leave it to you to be interviewed with a beautiful series of photos to make it even more special! Thank you for your recent visit. I have not been very good at visiting others or posting as much I would like. To answer your question, no, I have not done any painting since last fall. I do need to buy some fresh paint and finish a few projects that are sitting around. I have mostly been getting through the winter by relearning crochet. I find it very relaxing! Hope you are looking forward to a very early Spring! I think it is starting to happen! Have a beautiful week!~Hugs, Patti

Hi beautiful Anita!!!!!
Did you have a good weekend? It's warm & sunny here- we're about 20 degrees above normal!! I feel like it's May not March!!! What a crazy winter!!!
I LOVE this post!!! I too adore Beatrix Potter!!! I also remember loving the book "The Wind In The Willows" in grade school.... the characters were so cool!! "Mr. Toad" is the best!!!
I would love to go to Paris to shop with you. Can you imagine the vintage clothes we would find?
My husband & I watched 2 movies last night... "Breaking Dawn Part 1" and "Footloose".... they were both good. I think they did a great job with Footloose as it was a remake from 1983...
I think I'm going to go for a ride with my Jeep Wrangler and have the top down in this gorgeous weather!!!
Hugs!!! Shannon

Yes, *slightly shamefaced*...it is me. I have not fallen off the planet just yet...but I have been too busy to stop and blog hop.
Just had a quick peek in on your beautiful 'Castles Crowns and Cottages' and felt I had to stop here and leave a comment. Hope all is well with you. My sister's boat and our little Grandie, Ellie, have both been keeping me VERY full on at the moment. Next year should see things start to slow down a bit, and I hope to get more time to enjoy the Land of Blog. Until then, I will try to catch a glimpse when I can.

Love to you sweet lady.

Oh, how I would love to visit Paris during that time ~ the cafe society during the 1920's-1940's, Audrey, Grace, and to dance with Gene Kelley. Such magical times...
School is treating me well. This semester is flying by. Tomorrow we are presenting our design concepts to a local church. We designed a wonderful preteen space. I'm so excited that I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight!
With my hectic school schedule, no trips to Paris in the near future. We have a trip planned to Charleston, SC over the week of July 4th, and Chicago next month. I barely have a moment to breathe but I LOVE it. I only wish there an extra 10 hours in a day.
How are YOU? I'm certain your Etsy store is a hit! How is your writing? I know your dreams of becoming a full time writer will come true. You have the passion and determination.
Wishing you a lovely week! xoxo, B
