Hello Anita,

Happy Friday & last day of school for you! Thanks for stopping by...I'm glad you liked my contribution. It was much LONGER than I expected it to be, (yikes!!!) but I had SO much fun doing this and took a zillion pictures in the process. Maximus was REALLY enjoying the baguette. It was a HOOT! I should have almost taken a video of it as well.

And to answer your question: Kooky's eyes do NOT move, but I totally get what you're talking about. THEY LOOK LIKE THEY DO! And it is very eery and funny!

I can't wait to look at more of the links...I'll have to find bits of time to do it today...and perhaps this evening I'll be able to REALLY check things out more when Maximus goes to bed.

I'll be back later...

Much love,

lily is feeling bored, because i am being nurse to the cats she is getting less attention. but she is very kind to her kitty friends, allowing timothy to share her bed when he has wanted it.
you must be feeling quite on top of the world today, with your last day of school beind you - i am looking forward to hearing what you plan to do over the coming weeks and months, lots of arty things will be on the agenda i am sure :)

Dearest Anita,

What a joy this is! A Parisian pageant! I am more than fashionably late for this party but I HAVE ARRIVED! Between guitar exams, ballet rehearsals and shows I seized a window of opportunity. Thank you for inviting me to your party, Anita. It has been a pleasure to visit some of the beautiful blogs.

Anita! Thank you so much for your kind words. Coming from you they mean so much, truly. I do have a memoir in the works. It's about my experience working in the hell of corporate America. It's pretty funny ... I've shared some of my writing with Ruben.

You have submitted your writing haven't you? If so, would you share some of your insight? I would love to pursue the writing. My stories on Viggo are camp. Not meant to be serious romance ... the ridiculous imaginings of a middle aged lady LOL!

Let's talk! As for your summer, I hope you RELAX AND ENJOY!!! Give my love to Ruben.

Dear Anita,

I have just returned from my daughter's AMAZING dance show. Wow! I am humbled by a dance teacher's vision of such a dazzling spectacle. Guess what? Dear Anita, I wish you could have been there. The title of the show was 'Promenade à Paris' and finished with a sensational can-can dance to Offenbach's amazing music.

Wow, wow. So apt in the light of your Paris Party.

Vive la culture.

Dear Anita, I would be honoured if you were to use a picture of Héloïse! I have just been making some small changes to my post. I do so dislike having to rush things, don't you? I like to take my time but today was a very busy and BEAUTIFUL day. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be 'with' you today and all your friends, some of which I have been able to visit.

My dear Anita,
You are so kind and encouraging and I LOVE YOU really. I will continue to practice, practice, practice. As for leaving your teaching position, I think that you can do anything. You are so talented and gifted you could easily be a great success selling your beautiful, homemade creations. I love your writing style (so different from mine! LOL!)... it has the ability to transport one to a beautiful, magical, French world. I love your words and more than that, the simple, yet deeply spiritual message they convey. You will be a great success at whatever you endeavor to do. You should write children's books!

I will continue to visit you here at your wonderful blog. Big hello to Ruben. I think what you are doing is fantastic! You are following your path and I think, you already know, that you will be successful because you are guided by something greater.

WISHING MUCH LUCK AND SUCCESS!!!
XOXO

I have tried copying the whole button but it won't paste to my sidebar. Ugh. hello my sweet

i saw the marie antoinette film :) it is stunning!!! those costumes!❤❤❤
there is an other film i love that is a visual treat 'bright star', is is the story of the poet john keats and his fiance fannny brawne. a sad tale really (you will need a pretty handkerchief in your hand when you watch) but it is one of the most beautiful and romantic films i have ever seen. if you have not already seen it, i know you will love love love it. also the actor who plays john keats, ben whishaw i think is his name, is probably the most sensitive actor i have ever seen, very young and yet so talented. his presence is so touching it makes your heart feel raw. the female actress is wonderful too, they are so good together.
i have now visited everyone on the party list! :) and it has been so wonderful! your have such beautiful, talented and very lovely friends here. how i enjoyed seeing everyone's take on paris, and the photographs have been marvelous! you throw the very best of parties and have sparkled as a hostess, even though you have had so much going on your life at the same time. your truly are magical.
remember to take some rest and relaxation though, when you can.
i hope you have some sunshine too.
sadly it is rain, rain, rain, here for many days to come. but on the bright side, it will be good for our gardens :)
sending you a huge hug xxx with a huge hug and circular tail wag from lily too xxx

which reminds me, the little book i ordered for you will be here in a day ot two, i can then get it posted with your tea! :)

Hi beautiful Anita!!!!!
How was your weekend?
It was pretty hot here; we went shopping in a unique historic district downtown. There are about 7 blocks of antique shops, restaurants, & vintage clothing stores.
It was fun- I glanced in a cafe window as we walked by & people were drinking Coca Cola from glass bottles like in the 50's.....
Today it was stormy & it's just dismal and gloomy now.
I hope you're having a wonderful day!!!!

I hope you are enjoying your time off!!! And I hope you take some time to deflate and just relax before you get too busy with your other ventures.

Again, I wanted to thank you so much for doing this link party again. I had SOOOOO much fun creating this post. You have NO idea...well, maybe you do! haha...And, I've met so many other wonderful bloggers through this, which I have to give you credit for.

We just returned from our early 30th Wedding Anniversary trip to St. Augustine FL and it was lovely.

I hope we can SKYPE again in the near future. Leaving for Myrtle Beach next Thursday and will be out of pocket till after July 7th. Maybe after that.

Hugs friend and much love! xoxo

Thank you for stopping by, love. Knowing I am in desperate need of it, my lovely daughter left me such a peaceful, sweet post. Glad you enjoyed it.

In the meantime, I am visiting uplifting delightful bloggy friends such as yourself, and I am off to the beach Friday so I'll share pics soon. And no, no, no, the party lights are not dimmer, they are brighter than ever, ongoing beauty that echoes even when the guests have gone home.

I have met so many beautiful neighbors and I cannot help but think how much I'd love for you to host an ongoing theme, maybe monthly. Doesn't have to be Paris, but maybe simply whatever speaks BEAUTY to us that particular month. Okay, I'm being selfish now. I know you're busy, but can't help it, Love's light shines brightly through you, so who could resist? ;)

Enjoy your day.
Hugs,
Marcia

Oh my friend...I just had to pop over and ask you if you are enjoying your morning? I have a later start today so I am still making my rounds at your Paris party...so hard to visit everyone but I am trying.
I only kept my Paris post up for a few days...I hope that is ok. You know me...I can't sit still very long in one spot..I am always changing my posts. Must run now... Hugs for a wonderful day...what will the day bring? xoxo

Thank you for your sweet visit Anita! You're free now - WOW, that is SO EXITING! Must be a wonderful feeling to wake up in the morning and know, the day is yours. And i know you will make the most of it. I've recovered well in my holiday but could use another week ... Ha ha, coming back isn't so easy. Although i love my job, there is lots of pressure aslo and we are navigating through difficult waters right now! So good to dream about Paris once in a while ;) xx
