  53. Anita, I don't photo shop my photos on my blog, my walls are white, the surroundings of neutral tone and I alway take the pictures without a flash on and in the day light hours, if I have the flash on my photos turn out yellow as well. If your room is dark open a window or door to let in light.

I have seen your home in past photos and I think they are divine, so not to worry, they are just so soulfully French.

    Beautiful Noël to you.

  91. Anita! oh I have missed you! There is about 5 inches of freshly fallen snow here and my dog is loving it, while my husband blows it away!

This is a "borrowed" fix, but is a permanent acting fix. Make sense? He has loaned me a laptop that was an 'extra' at their home and we have connected it as if it is the main-frame and have MY monitor, keyboard and mouse as before. The laptop is acting as a tower/mainframe. It is a pretty cool arrangement. I can disconnect it to and use it just as a laptop. (put the laptop mouse is difficult for me) ya see?

Yes, my new camera is right-fine! It is just a point and shoot but it is just like my old one but soooo much better/newer features. I am planning a post all about my camera problems and the transition, etc. in a few days.

It feels sooooo good to be back, AGAIN! So no, this isn't a permanent fix but for about 2-3 months til I can afford my own laptop. It feels great to type on your site on the keyboard instead of my droid. That got old REALLY fast.

Ya! I love this post. I've known that song but wasn't realizing you would use it on your post, but of course, it is perfect. I love the vivid colors of the shutters and the Cartier hotel with trees at every window. My goodness!!!!!!!!

It feels so good to be back! Hug!

Yes, Blogland and I are one again and it feels so great. The key board is a bit funky but I can get used to anything that can get me on the blogs of my friends. The library would not have been an option today because it has snowed all day. My husband has shoveled 4 separate times.

Take care. I'll be posting again on Friday. I have a ton of blogging to get caught up on now.

  96. Dear Anita,
I just read your beautiful tribute to the children and teachers of Sandy Hook. I looked at the faces of my first graders with new eyes the day after the tragedy. I wasn’t prepared for how emotionally heavy the day would feel. I imagined the children going about their business as we were, following the daily routine, and the unspeakable chaos that must have reigned in the split seconds available to make life or death decisions. My heart is broken for the families of Newtown. May precious memories bring joy to their broken lives. I pray that the redemptive God I love will hold them close and bring them peace. Thank you for your post, dear friend.
    Blessings.
