I could copy each and every word from wonderful Irina!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a marvelous post! Oh my goodness...the pictures, and the quotes!!! You know how I adore quotes of ANY kind (hint, hint, Ruben :) !
YOU are magic, my dear, Anita. Pure magic!
We have so much to talk about this weekend.
I can barely wait to hear your voice!!
Sending you huge hugs and much love... always. xoxo
Dearest Anita,
ReplyDeleteYou have my favorite quotes on here! First off, "She is clothed in Strenth" is a very special quote to me. And I laughed when I saw the Alice in Wonderland quote because Jess LOVES Alice in Wonderland. I'm going to send her over to see this. Do you know that I am interested in the saints, and St. Therese of Lisieux is one of my beloved saints? They call her the "little flower." Do ordinary things with extraordinary love. Isn't that beautiful?? This post tonight really came at the perfect time because now is a time in my life that I have to be brave because there will be changes for me, and you know that change is good but sometimes scary, right? Thank you for lifting my spirits, dear friend. Those pink polka dot shoes are delightful!!
~Sheri at Red Rose Alley
Hello my dearest,
ReplyDeleteThe proverbs verse was like an arrow to my heart. I forget in the midst of every day crazy life, that in the Lord, confidence is mine. No need to be fearful or cower, but stand tall and be strengthened by Him.
Your sweet bunny creation is wonderful. I look forward to seeing more of the beauty you have produced.
Hugs!
Nancy
Bonjour mon amie!

It is such a HUGE truth. Be the best YOU. Don't try to be anyone else... that is a knockoff and never the best.
ReplyDeleteWork to find who you are and then work it! It is your voice that makes you special... nothing else matters. SOmetimes, people who feel they have the least to say end up having the most. A small shift in perception is all it takes. Value yourself.
rYour music, your words and your pretty pictures make me want to live here :)
ReplyDeleteDearest Anita
ReplyDeleteYou do both in writing the poem and being the poetry. Thank you for this beautiful story right from the beginning to the last word. I loved the image "Strictly No Elephants allowed". I say persevere young girl and "fortitudine vincimus" Amen

as you do in a week!
Hope you are finding time
for SOME relaxing this
weekend, Anita!

TO BE...I guess that is what it ultimately comes down to.
ReplyDeleteBE..and then DO. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, if you are good enough, smart enough, creative enough.
YOU DO...so you can Be.
Be who we were meant to be and use those God given talents that we were given. Not intended to be ignored, but to be shared.
Reminded me of a saying I have of Marilyn Monroes on my sidebar that says:
Imperfection is beauty, Madness is genius. It's better to be absolutely ridiculous then absolutely boring.
and one thing I do know about myself....I AM NOT BORING. (tee, hee)
I was talking to Claudie about "how to get into your etsy shop" and she said it's on your sidebar.
Can't wait to see you latest creations! And I adore the verse you put at the top of the post. I had that verse put on a senior picture for me daughter, I loved it to much, and it totally paints a beautiful picture of my daughter.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend, I heard we are supposed to be getting some snow here on Monday. Just when I am all good and ready for spring!
Kate
Is that really a heart shaped macaron? Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWow! This is so inspiring and better than reading a book! I love the Alice in Wonderland quote!!

ReplyDeleteHello, Anita!!!
ReplyDeleteI like what you said about "if you can't write a poem, be the poem." So true! We ALL have a PURPOSE here on earth! Each and every one of us.
How was your week. And really? 32 years that you met Ruben on Valentine's Day? That is amazing! Congratulations! I think you should share your story on your blog. :) I hope you are having a wonderful weekend celebrating!
