Beautiful as always Anita.
ReplyDeleteChange is the constant. It can either be embraced or fought but it will come.
Grace is the daily challenge and I love that you so eloquently (and subtly) nudge us in that direction.
I will pop over to see you lovely works now as well!
Simone
Such an elegant post, Anita...and beautiful images, as always. One of my favourite quotes..."I do not understand the mystery of grace - only that it meets us where we are, but does not leave us where it found us."
ReplyDeleteAnne LaMott
Have a wonderful week...I'll pop across to Tina from The Enchanted Home and take a peek ;-)

Lovely post Anita.
ReplyDeleteThis post speaks so much to me,
we need to embrace the changes in our lives and to accept things gracefully in order for us to be in the flow of things and sometimes in order for us to survive. Love your images as always.
J'aime les surprises que tu nous offres !
ReplyDeleteChaque image est une petite bulle d'oxygène qui fait briller les yeux .
Je te souhaite une belle semaine très chère Anita
Marie-Ange
Elegant and lovely post today Anita. As always we enjoyed it. Have a lovely Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Hello Anita
ReplyDeleteI love this post and the soft colouring to enhance your words.
Beautiful and wishing a week of joy
Helenx
Bonjour mon ami; as always your words and photos are a source of inspiration. Change is the one constant thing in our life and how we deal with it determines how peaceful or turmoil filled our life will be.
ReplyDeleteXO C. (HHL)
P.S. I'm not sure about how to get around the photo space challenge. I hope someone in BlogLand has some ideas for you. xo
I used to think many things were 'selfish'. Garden views off each window for example.
ReplyDeleteHa, those things are GRACE !
XO T
Dear Anita, i have heard this before - from Gloria, do you know her? Apparently, she has given up on her blog now, which is very sad and i hope this doesn't happen to us. Did you contact blogger? So hope, a solution can be found. LOVE your new pst again, and the strong women in it! Hugs for today!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Anita!
ReplyDeleteThis post IS similar to mine and speaks to me in so many ways. Life really does go on doesn't it? .. and so do transitions. The comparisons you make with your photographs are wonderful.. the horse in the water and the ballerina are my favorites. Flexibility, willingness to go with it, and self confidence are so important throughout life's journey.
The family photos are of my children growing up through the years. The last are of my daughter is will be graduating in this year and becoming an accountant. She is also an NFL cheerleader here at home for the Seattle Seahawks. My son has already graduated and is working in computer science. My husband and I are still paying the bills!
Have a wonderful start to a new week!

What a post...i am quiet now.....so beautiful....xxx...you can by space from google it is less 5 dollar a year ....than you have space enough darling......hope it works....love Ria...heb een fijne dag mijn lieve vriendin...xxx
ReplyDeleteOh I needed this today my friend...such beauty!!! I love that word GRACE!!!
ReplyDeleteWish you a day filled with many blessings. It is a rainy wet one here but oh so perfect..I need the cozy rain today.
I had to purchase more storage space...really does not cost much at all my friend. Not sure how else you could do it??
Love to you...I will visit Tina this evening..off and running out the door. xoxo

ReplyDeleteAnita, very lovely. You always have such profound thoughts on here, and I love the way you select your imagery to match.
ReplyDeleteIt that Bonnie Raitt? I love her, and she is timeless.
XO,
Sheila
I hear you, Anita. Beautifully expressed as usual.
ReplyDeleteNot sure about running out of space in Picassa, but running out of space in blogger is something I experienced. They never said anything but my pictures started to load completely blurry. The solution for that was using photobucket and loading the pictures with an html code vs. directly. Seems like a lot of work, but I got used to it. I learned that the large images take up space quickly too.
Hope I was able to be of some help. Try to google your question too.
Much love,
Marcia
Chez moi aussi, plus moyen de mettre une image en bannière ou sur la droite de mon blog !
ReplyDeleteOu alors il faut payer !
Le procédé me déplait à un point ...
Gros bisous
Marie-Ange
Thank you for starting my Monday morning and new week with such "grace-filled" thoughts. Spurs me on to loftier heights....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful beautiful flowing images and words.
ReplyDeleteWhen I ran out of photo space I had to purchase more...it only cost $5 and it was with Picasa.
Thinking of you my dear. It was wonderful speaking with you.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Nancy
Beautiful post. Wonderful, inspiring words and images.
ReplyDeleteI purchased more Picasa space ... it didn't cost much; about £5 from what I remember.

Dear Anita ~
ReplyDeleteI read about you via Tina's site. Such beautiful and exquisite items you make. So delighted to discover your blog and store site.
Greetings from DC,
Loi
My daughter's name in Grace and so loved the words about having "grace"...so very lovely and true Miss Anita!
ReplyDeleteOh Anita, I love this. The quote "as long as everything is exactly the way I want it" allows me to see things in a different way. I also like that you see beauty in all people, even the old. That is so rare and special.
ReplyDeleteThe 'OR NOT" picture put a smile on my face. It reminds me of me. She looks like she is being cautious, taking it one step at a time, but in the end the ultimate decision is her own. Maybe it's just plain stubborness. hehe
I have already checked out The Enchanted Home and entered in your sweet giveaway.
Have a wonderful week my be beautiful friend. You bring out the GRACE in all of us.
~Sheri at Red Rose Alley
Lovely Anita,
ReplyDeleteI am full of joy to be here with you today! Isn't that 'renewal' picture fabulous with the woman's dress the colour and texture of the foaming sea. Simply stunning as is your blog with its profound messages married to perfection with your exquisite 'illustrations'; you are an artist, Anita. Anita the Artist. How lucky I am to know you even from afar.
I hope life is treating you well and that you are enjoying your beautiful art. I am so passionate about my creations but can only give myself two days and a few very late nights of loving work. My youngest daughter still needs me by her side and that is as it should be. My head is full of dancing themes and ideas though and sometimes it is hard to keep them from tumbling out to fast.
Are you on facebook Anita? I have just started a page there as suggested by some successful creative friends. If you are there I would love to know.
Warmest wishes,
Stephanie
ps I have found Blogger to be quite quiet this week. Is that just me? :-)
Do you have Google + ????.....i have not please tell me when it works than i switch also to Google +...thanks love Ria......xxx
ReplyDeleteAnita,
ReplyDeleteWe should get in touch. Please go find me on facebook, Anita. My nascent page (which I am getting strangely addicted to) is Madame Millefeuilles. We need to converse about mixing business and art!
Much love,
Stephanie
Anita,
ReplyDeleteYour post is so beautiful with the words, pictures and music all in tune with each other.
Thank you.

Anita, mon cher ami,
baisers,
xoxo

Oh boy...yes my eyes are wet...
ReplyDelete(Are you surprised? ;)
This is grace and perfection, right here. From the music...to these phenomenal images...and of course, your deep, BEAUTIFUL poetry...
Thank you, my dear friend, for living your grace every day...you touch us and teach us more than you can ever imagine. Love you so.
Now off to leave dear Tina a message...to sing your praises...she is a sweetheart.
xoxoxoxoxo
O..How Lovely>>a Monday Post....charming my dear absolutely charming....and now Im going to visit the give away..:))
ReplyDeletelove from the Hilltop...a new saeson begins....!!!
I visited The Enchanted Home and voted. I mentioned that I have already shopped with you and bought your lovely gift tags. I will be buying more. As always a beautiful and inspiring post.
ReplyDeleteHi Anita...you certainly hit a chord with me on this. I. DO. NOT. accept change gracefully. I. DO. NOT. change with the seasons ...whether it be the Weather, of Life.
ReplyDeleteTakes me a looooooong time.
I want to.
I need to.
I try.
So far, haven't found just how to do it well yet. That sign was perfectly me....I'll accept change as long as it's what I want (or whatever it exactly said)
I have been living here for 3 years now, and still trying to adjust.
Still trying to "fit in".
Matt has been gone almost 2 years now, I will never "accept" that, but trying to move closer to moving "past it".
Yeah...I got lots of self-evaluation and work to do on ME.
hugs to you today.
Dearest Anita...thank you for telling me about your husband and how he is getting on...yes I agree gentle exercise is the way to go...I did go to rehearsal with the crutch and some thought it was a prop...that was funny and wardrobe think they have a wooden crutch somewhere!
ReplyDeleteAhhh sewing notions...we always need something and your memories of rushing to the shop with your Mum are so special and beautiful...I will look Michelle up on your side bar...thank you for the link...
Enjoy your day and I'll be back shortly...must go and read this post...Love to you across the miles...Dzintra xo
Oh Anita such beauty here...the ballerina is incredible...the lady in the gown renewing herself...the music...I love it all...but then again your posts are always full of beauty awakening the senses...a beautiful day to you...Dzintra xo
ReplyDeleteOh this quote is too funny..."As long as everything is exactly the way I want it, I am totally flexible."
ReplyDeleteI can relate...change can be hard. I don't usually like it. But then I adapt and usually do just fine...until things CHANGE AGAIN! LOL...
How are you, Anita? I sense that some change is coming for you? How is your art coming along.
Have a great afternoon. I better run. M is awake from his nap.
Heidi
Hello! You are so right-- grace helps ease our transitions. Speaking of transitions, can you believe the ivy still hasn't turned at my house? It is taking its sweet time while I am starting to wonder if its going to just turn brown and fall off. Oh well! I was in St. Louis over the weekend and the fall color was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm off to Tina's for the giveaway!
Keri
Grace says it all.
ReplyDeleteLoved how this post flows effortlessly and the photos are magical!
Love & hugs Anita!

Dear Anita...more beautiful every time I visit! Transitions can be daunting, but they are a part of life...I have learned to accept rather than struggle against them.... N.xo

Hello beautiful Anita!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool post!!!!! I love all the photos!!!! You are so talented at weaving these magical posts together!!!!!
Did you have a good weekend?
We were going to go to the pumpkin patch on Sunday but it rained & was super windy.
I was at J Crew last week and found a beautiful snakeskin print pencil skirt; I think I'll wear it with a cropped leather jacket and tee.
I hope you're having a great evening!!!!!
Luv & Hugs!!!!!

this post is so lovely

and artfully shared

Oh Anita!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI finally got to your comments section after trying about 4 times. My computer is acting so much better, but I have learned that my memory still has issues. But, if I have nothing else up when I am trying yours, then I succeed because I am ...here finally!!!
How are you? Great plan networking with Tina - you smart cookie.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS POST! It has several ominous photos and events, the little innocent child in the dark swing for starters. But I loved the music, the poetry, YES POETRY and the post that is uniquely you!!!!!!!!
Thank you so.
ooops, Ps, I have a new poem in my page again.
ReplyDeleteHauntingly beautiful Anita.
ReplyDeleteI fell in love with the music also..Thanks for sharing on this windy cold morning....
love Maria x
Hauntingly beautiful header...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words, lovely images.
Wishing you a beautiful week. xo
Anita...no one can do this like you. Sooooo beautiful and moving and poignant. I am all about self renewal, we just have to keep plugging ahead and taking the failures with the successes and know they are shaping us to be the person we are meant to be. I really believe that! Transitions are scary as heck.......nothing can make us feel like we are losing our footing like change but like a rickety bridge as we are "crossing" it once we get to the other side we know the hardest part is behind us....and you have a whole new canvas to explore.
ReplyDeleteI know you are going to achieve all you set out to do once you make that crossing.....you are so talented filled with so much imagination and hope, and have the gift to touch others, to inspire them and allow them to dream.....that is rare and prized. So happy to know you.......and thank you again for the gifts of your beautiful art and creations...they are loved by all!!!
Really enjoyed your post, have a beautiful day Anita!
GORGEOUS - and I saw your work on TIna's blog - your creations are truly spectacular (not to mention your writing as well)! You should be head set designer on one of those fabulous fairytale-like films in Hollywood. You have such remarkable talent.
ReplyDeletePaula xxx
I love all of the women in this post!! the strong, the demure, the gentle, the alluring, the determined, the frightening, the vulnerable and the worried. They all say so much just with their pose or their stare. thrilling!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYay! You liked my new look.
My computer is so finicky. I have learned I CAN'T have any other files open when I go to our site. (bogs down otherwise)
Thankyou! Thank you! THANK YOU!!! That newest poem wasn't as full with imagery but more words of explanation. The child walking at the end was my first nephew that was being tended by my Mom and I witnessed his first steps while Mary was out of town.
Have a fabulous day okay? Have a day of playing your harp and writing as you want. (hug)
Hello Beautiful Anita !!!!
ReplyDeleteHad to come by for some eye candy and uplifting words!

This is such a beautiful message and yes, everyone needs to check their attitude continually I believe. Gorgeous post. You always seem to have the message I need at just the right time. xo
ReplyDeleteOh Anita, my dear friend, i have not the right words, to tell you, how i loooooooooooo, love, love this post.......love all the words, deep from your heart and all the great images.......what a joy to be here........THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!! And a lot of thanks for your lovely comment.........so sweet, you made my day!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBig Hugs, Jade & Sheila
PS: Today it is soooooooo warm and sunny in Bavaria......feels a little bit like summer ;)!
What we all need now is love sweet love and grace sweet grace. When I think of grace, I think of how I learned to forgive, my story. We all have one and God only knows, the meaning of that precious grace he pours out on us. Grace heals, grace forgives, grace makes room for more and more grace. I adopt that word today, as it is meant for so many who so desperately need it.
ReplyDeleteI loved your thoughts on flexibility...I must ponder them, and take them to heart.
I have really branched out this week, went out on the tip of the limb and purchased the best phone and tablet that I could find...Etsy, is on the horizon!
We are content over here in our little corner of the world. Len is excited to attend our local comic book show on Saturday and I am going along too like a good sport should! We must always support each other, in our quest to follow our superhero's.
How is dear Ruben? Is he getting any chance to play???
I wish all young people could see as older people do with much more ease. That life is also about change."This too shall pass."One of My Dad's favorite sayings when I was growing up. Hugs and love, Denise
ReplyDeleteBonjour!
ReplyDeleteTHE ARCH!!!!
How are you today? I was just visiting dear Violet, what a great post! Loved the children on the ponies..
Back to work on the Dance Co.

Beautiful!!!! So amazing with the White Oleander music playing with it!
ReplyDeleteGrace... an important element so often missing in our lives today. The grace of movement, the grace of growing old... the most blessed movement and change in a persons life.
ReplyDeleteAgain... just beautiful, dear Anita.
Blessings in change,
Ann

Hope your day goes well and many many joys come your way in the form of sweet little faces. xoxoxoo HUGS

ha ha Anita I am off the crutches but they quite like the look of the cop with it as a prop and have given me a walking cane (an old wooden one)! It's curtain up tomorrow...have a fabulous weekend...Dzintra xo
ReplyDeleteDearest one.... thank you for the very encouraging words. So very true! Life is full of changes and I am grateful that God made us this way. in the other hand, I find "rest" in knowing that the great " I AM" never changes.
ReplyDeleteSending you a warm hug....
Bonjour ma belle!
ReplyDeleteHow are you my darling? Your posts are enchanting as always! Love your new Christmas ornaments and you wands, how adorable!! I've been absent in Blogland starting my own etsy... lots of work and brain power used but I'm having fun with it. My Etsy shop is EdieMariesAttic. Please take a look and see what you think. I have so much more to list on it but the process does take time. I had no idea mon amie. You can hop over to it from our latest post on Dolls by Marie Anionette.
I've missed you so much dearest and hope you are enjoying life these days of creating. I'm so happy on Golden Pond...
Bisou my darling, Sherry
Just to answer your question Anita...The little mice crawling up the staircase were cutouts :)and I'm feeling like a new person with 55lbs SO FAR gone after 3 months .I see My younger self coming out,I missed her so much.
ReplyDeleteGreetings Anita, I am sorry to be so late in visiting, it's been such a busy week. I love this post as it speaks so much to me. I am in a season of change when it comes to the topic of your post, learning to let a trickle of grace become a raging river and learning to accept life and everything about it more gracefully. Everywhere I look lately, grace seems to be the topic. I am running into that subject everywhere I turn.....and then here YOU are wrapping it all up in such a beautiful package. Thanks, Lisa
ReplyDeleteDearest ANita, just want to wish you a happy weekend - have you planned anything fun? I hope you get your blogging difficulties sorted out - seems like this is something we all have to deal with sooner or later ... Enjoy the splendid fall weather, i'm going to the fleamarket tomorrow. xx
ReplyDeleteHi Anita,
ReplyDeleteJ'adore ta bannière pleine de mystères! Tes photos donnent une belle ambiance de saison.
Have a good week-end!
XO
Hello beautiful Anita! Navigating life is sometimes easy and sometimes hard, but our attitude about how we face all the change is in our control isn't it? That's the gift! and dearest you definitely use your gift.
ReplyDeleteI'm off to see tina!
hugs...
Oh dearest Anita your goosebumps are good....I've got them now too....it's 5 hours till showtime and the butterflies are settling in! JoJo has front seat tickets with her Peer Support group and she is soooo excited....whenever she sees Police now she says 'tarantara'....very sweet!
ReplyDeleteI will continue with the walking cane today as it is a support for the knee as I will be a tad slower than the other bobbies in marching so it probably looks better with the cane anyway than keeping up with them....
I will think of you this afternoon...love to you...Dzintra xo
Dear Anita,
ReplyDeleteSo lovely to come back and visit you and see all the inspiration you have shared. Always a treat to come and visit you.
Our life's journey will be filled with change, both difficult and sweet.
Wishing you the best dear friend, and enjoy the weekend
Hugs
Carolyn
Flexibility... Is the key to everything in our lives... mental and physical... Wonderful as always Anita... xv
ReplyDeleteAnita I love the effects on this post and really everything that you do, your art is most definitely "eye candy".
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you liked the soup recipe and please let me know if you make that one and how it turns out. On election week I will be posting some recipes from President Reagan along with some image's, I had to take advantage of the presidential election that week so look for this one a day before the important election.
I still have not picked what I'm posting next week for the recipe of the week, so if you have any hints please let me know and I will try and find it.
Maybe a comfort food perhaps, and drop by this Monday because I will have a "make your own White castle hamburgers recipe with Jeans post, I think you will like! Richard
Hello Anita...My, how these weeks are flying by!...It's a beautiful autumnal Saturday afternoon here and it's lovely to sit sipping my coffee and reading your latest post...I love how you put everything together...pure poetry lovely lady!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy weekend,
Susan x
This is lovely..as per usual..you do wonderful composition, with beautiful selections. I can comment on each...so I'll come here again. Have a lovely week end. Mary
ReplyDeleteI am here finally!! It has been a busy 2 days. Doing lots of proofing and layout on my book! But it is the weekend and I am thankful for that. My husband and I are heading into Vancouver today for some "US time". Can't wait. I went past Rosies little shop yesterday, it is all done up for Christmas...she had her open house last night but I was unable to go because of all this book stuff that needed to get done. I will try to pop in next week.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend and I am soooo excited to hear about your window display you will be doing! You must take a photo or 2 or 3 or 10! and share with us all. Oh how talented you are..and what a blessing you are to those around you. xoxo Make it a great day. xoxoox
Anita,
ReplyDeleteAgain, you nailed it!I am off to visit your friend ~
Have the most lovely weekend!
Nathalie
Anita, I am thrilled for your "window" display! They are lucky to have you, your paper sculptures and dresses will draw a lot of attention, of that I am sure. And it is just the beginning of who knows what!! Good things to come.
ReplyDeleteHi Anita, en France il est l'heure de se coucher et faire de beaux rêves. Grâce à cette douce musique et ces belles photos, ma nuit sera douce. Bises
ReplyDeleteHello Anita,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your visit. I was thinking the same thing about some of those photos of Maximus....about getting one on canvas. I think I will. He was so funny when I was taking the photos that day. I would say, dance or play the drums and he would. It was like he was actually enjoying it and almost knew that he looked cool doing it. Haha...funny boy.
Awh...the weekend has arrived. I bet you are gearing up for your art show. Hope you are getting some good responses from stores and such as well...
Have a good day!
Heidi
I feel your disappointment! I still think time will deliver your dreams. It's still early days! I have no idea how I missed this post, I am always so vigilant of your name on my blg roll. Dearest Anita, how great it would be to meet up for a coffee and a chat. Someday xxxx
ReplyDeleteOh Anita, your comment on our wedding post meant so much to me. You know how much I was hesitant to put pictures on there, and then I saw your comment. You always give me wings to fly, and as I am writing this I have tears in my eyes because your heart is good, and your mind is broadened. I only found two good pictures of me out of a hundred hehe, but that's o.k. I guess. You are a light shining for all to see.
ReplyDelete~Sheri at Red Rose Alley
Dearest Anita .... such a beautiful haunting post and the images are stunning! Change is the one constant in our lives and mostly it is difficult to embrace. To be able to face it head on and accept change with grace and to be graceful is very special indeed! I so love your words Anita and they are so profound and so special! Thank-you dear friend!
ReplyDeletelots of love

Thank you Anita for helping picking some of those recipes for my own blog this coming Wednesday, to be honest I was kind of stumped what to come up with this week.
ReplyDeleteI found one of the recipes that are among your favorite's along with another that is very close, so I decided to post both so I hope you like my choices and since these have an Amish style twist maybe you might see enough of a difference to make one or both of these yourself!
Also I posted Jeans post 30 mins ago a little early instead of Monday again so I hope your able to stop by because its a good post, plus I have a great recipe for making your own White Castle hamburgers.
Do you remember those as I'm sure that you do, I never could go inside one of their restaurants and order just one, maybe 10.
But after you ate all 10 you would be very sorry as your stomach would be giving you a food beat-down, but then later when you hungered for more White Castle you would do the same thing all over again! Richard
Hello Miss Anita, this is the first time I have been able to sit down and blog. I have been so busy with my art and shoppe this time of year! I love reading your post. We are what we repeatedly do!
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying this fall weather!
xoxo

Anita... que preciosuras. bonito ver tu blog denuevo. I've been so wonderfully busy but I think of you often. Hope all is well! :)
ReplyDeleteDearest! When you come up for air, you MUST go see Christel's new garden fairy! She is exquisite!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your visit dear friend.
Bisous!

What would you do if you weren't afraid? has touch me to my core and has produced unexpected tears from me this morning. Every blog of yours I've seen has resonated with me and I am compelled to share it with everyone I love.
ReplyDeleteThis is who I am www.lorafabio.com and I am a huge fan of your artistry. Thank you for sharing it with this frustrated artist's soul. Yes I'm a professional singer and teacher of singing but there is so much more inside of me that needs to be expressed for which there are not enough hours in the day. Thank you for reaching into my heart and helping me to see myself in a way I had not considered before.
I was sad that I couldn't hear the music that was meant to accompany this post. It always adds such a magical charm.
