Anita,

The dress is stunning! And to persist and work hard to make something so beautiful it looks like it appeared out of thin air! Wishing you the blessing of sucess for your Etsy shop in the coming year. Yes, and that with substitute teaching on top! The very best to you!

You have taken eagle wings to soar far beyond the rainbow, my dearest Anita.
Wow...and I say that in reverence to what you have accomplished this year, dear heart.
The tissue paper dress is astounding, words almost can't portray how magnificent and beautiful it is.
I was on someone's blog today and she said 'One step at a time'...but that was not all she had to say. She completed her sentence with '...all glory to God.'
...and you and I know that is what this is all about, our talents which have been so graciously placed into our hands for His glory. Amazing...simply...amazing!
Blessing to you this New Year and may you be blessed everyday, all year long.

Morning morning morning my friend!
It is Monday...and I am off and running in the direction of the school. Excited to go back but feeling that if a snow storm hit I would not be disappointed. Silly me...I will go find something fun to wear and hit the classroom with a smile!
What are your plans today? Whatever they are..may you find JOY and DO NOT GO FAST..take it slow. Oh and yes...it is pink bubble gum ice cream on my banner...one of my book images {to hit the stores this spring}. Hugs to you.

Dearest Anita,

You posts have strange consequences. Hubby and I watched Mandy sing, and then spent a cosy morning going through his songs on YouTube. How wonderful. The man has such range.

And so do you.

Hello Dearest Anita!!!!
The dress looks breathtaking and gorgeous!!!! What an amazing work of art!!!!! I adore it!!!!! Any store would be lucky to have it displayed in their front window!!!!!
My parents were here for a visit so I JUST completed my latest blog post. My parents go to Arizona from January to April to escape the cold, Midwest winters. They stop to see us on their way to Scottsdale. They left this morning.
How was your New Years? We stayed in and watched movies. It was snowing here & was SO beautiful!!!!!
I love snow!!!!!
I bought a few new vintage treasures: a ice blue colored fur coat, a leopard fur vest with black leather buckles across the front, and my mom brought me a vintage navy blue embroidered mens tie that belonged to our dear family friend. He wore the tie to a dance with his wife in the 1950's.
I ended up wearing the tie as a sash around my neck with a striped top, long beaded and pearl necklace, black mini, & Diane Von Furstenberg dark blue sparkle knee boots. I love that the tie had a back story and a special memory.
Hope you're having a splendid week!!!!!
Luv & Hugs,
Shannon

As I suspected, my comment didn't make it here. My fault, forgot to sign in and assumed it went through until I tried on another site and realized my mistake. So let me just tell you again that I love love love that ruffle dress! That is an astounding creation of beauty and you should be truly proud! And I love that it was commissioned...you are living the dream! And even if not all the way yet, it's ON THE WAY! Be grateful for every step and know there are so many of us here backing you up! Bisous to you, Anita!
