ReplyDeleteTrue & inspiring words, Anita. Thank you for this. And beautiful pictures to compliment.
ReplyDeleteI've been traveling & busy getting ready for the school year. I'm ready for the pace to even out a bit. Thank you for being here, my friend. :)
Keri
Thanks you for this! I have been inspired, much needed. Yasminna! I want to be her when I grow up! LOL...am going to sew now. I love the horses more than I can say.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese images are amazingly beautiful and your message is so touching.
How you do it, I will never know.
But I know the One who gives you your insights into the human heart
(and animal!)and inspires your words. Thank you for sharing them
with us Anita!!!!!
Oh my those horses....
aren't they magnificent creatures
and so powerful.
Love this.
~ Violet
We agree the horse pictures are stunning. That made us smile this afternoon. Have a super Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
ANITA! Wow.. this is an amazing piece and one of my favorites. Animals sense fear and weakness in humans and each other. The example of the powerful horse is a good one!! There was a time when I was riding and lost control and the horse took off (my arms were sore for days from trying to hold on!). As far the animal within, we must have a clear understanding of our fears and challenges before we can proceed!! Harnessing and working WITH not against what we fear allows us to be at peace. Beautifully written ANITA! xxleslie
ReplyDeleteDearest Anita, wow, this is a magical post - so full of promise and - poetry! And you found just the right images to go with your words - into imagination! Thank you for coming to see my paintings today, so sweet of you! Today we have a clash of humidity in the air, that makes every movement more strenuous and i feel more lazy than i want to feel ... Send me some of your freshness! But i don't want to complain about summer, as long as it's here. Hope you have a relaxing and fun weekend with al the things you like best! xox
ReplyDeleteAnita dear you have captured the most beautiful photos to visualize your most important words. I very much enjoy reading what you have to say and the power your words convey. Thank you. Blessings dear...
ReplyDeleteoh...dearest, Anita!
ReplyDeleteAt this week's end, your words and images heal and inspire this slightly overwhelmed and weary heart and soul.

Stunning post and such beautiful music, Anita...I adore the outfit of the stunning lady with the grey hair...she portrays calm; doesn't she.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend lovely lady.

Anita, seeing a new post from you pop up on my sidebar makes my heart sing. Thanks for this lovely work. The images, words, and music have touched my heart. I'll think of these through the day.........Sarah
ReplyDeleteQuite powerful my friend.
ReplyDeleteAlways so beautiful Anita. The Master can speak through You so easily.Enjoy Your day and the rest of Your summer.Hugs to You Dear One -Denise
ReplyDeleteI love how you make the wild thing so able to approach and wonder about...and watch from a distance...as if it were "you"
ReplyDeleteYour words are like poetry to me, Anita. I loved this post so much, everything about it. The white horse is such a beautiful creature, and it is so fascinating, isn't it? The message of fear is such a heartwarming one, as we all have our fears and doubts, but the wild side in me never lets the fear last for too long hehe. But as we get older, our wild side disminishes a little, so this is a note to stay strong, keep moving. Through your words I feel you are such a child of God.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures went so well with your words, and that little girl beside the horse, oh my, that touched my heart. The music is so peaceful too.
This is such a unique post today, and I will be back to see it again this weekend.
Love you, dear.
~Sheri

Ooops, I meant diminishes - writing too fast I guess. I'm like that horse that won't slow down. :~)
ReplyDeleteLove,
Me
I have to agree with Sarah - just noting that you have finally posted (no pressure to post more frequently) makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about your magical posts is that they stay with me long after I take the literal meaning. I let them roll around in my brain and they find other thoughts to latch onto.
And I love that what I take away from your posts is "mine" - different from what each other reader takes.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Love this!!!!!
ReplyDeletePowerful!
All my heart,
Deborah xoxoxo
This touched me in a way that I hadn't imagined .......my thanks to you, Anita...
ReplyDeleteThis post touched such deep emotion in me. The music, again, is what really touches me deeply, from that point on, I am lost in very deep thoughts. I need posts like this to stir up the chaos within that needs to be tamed when life becomes chaotic...if that makes sense? It is not that humans are stubborn, nor is the horse, it is their innate in-born nature that makes them so, which is what needs to be tamed. Then freedom will be experienced, when we thought we were free to begin with. Freedom from self, or self pity so we can be used by the Master.
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear friend...
So beautiful! Amazing! Manuela

Oh Anita, thank you soooooo much!!!! Your lovely words are such a joy and great gift for me.........no one does it like you!!! Yes, we meet the white dog sometimes when we take our morning walk......he´s very old and he looked so beautiful in the yellow grass. Sheila loves to play with him (but only a few minutes;). So sweet, the two oldies ;) and they have so much fun. Have a wonderful week, my dear friend,
ReplyDeleteHugs Jade
I agree with Carol from Art and Sand. What we take away is OURS. And I always take away inspiration and strength. In college I remember interpreting poems incorrectly, and thinking it was so odd that someone was telling me ,y interpretation was wrong. It is indeed ours to own and carry with us. Thanks for the lovely, deep thoughts.
ReplyDeleteThat was marvelous. I love the taming of the wild, making it more powerful than before when one with more wisdom is in charge. GREAT!
ReplyDeleteAnita, I keep forgetting that not all of the Gazette readers are farmfolk! Here is the farm scoop: Miss Peggy was sitting on these eggs in an effort to hatch them, unbeknownst to her, they were not fertilized and could never hatch. But she sat and sat, in the hot barn, with her warm body heating up the eggs even more, until KABOOM! the hot boiling eggs exploded underneath her. I am sure it freaked her out totally, and she will never try it again!
The same boots??? How great, Anita.........loooooove them and I´m looking forward to the new autumn collection (need some in black too ;).
ReplyDeleteWith love, Jade
hi sweet Anita!
ReplyDeleteOur family party went late and I did get to bed early enough and then slept into the morning. I am now prepping for a Cub Scout BBQ. After tonight my life will be more calm.
I needed this setting here with you to calm my nerves a bit. Thank you. This post is very well done. It has nice continuity to it. (hug)
Yes and three does make one! Isn't that the definition of synergy? Awh, one of my favorite words.
ReplyDeleteHave a tremendous day
When does work 'teaching' begin for you?
I think I've just heard a really good sermon! You always find a way to say something in a way I would never think of... but I always get it! :)
ReplyDeleteLove you!
Hi beautiful Anita!!!!!

Our temps are in the mid to high 80's and I love those temps now. awh ~
Morning dear one...thank you for visiting me! Love seeing a little note from YOU! Sun is shinning here today again.....our summer has been amazing...we usually get oodles of rain but none so far! It does make one happy! I made fig butter yesterday and thought of you...for some reason I am thinking you love FIGS! Not too common up here but my daughter Molly loves them...hugs for a blessed day. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi there, friend! Thank you for visiting me! It's so nice to see you and get back in touch.
ReplyDeleteSome days I think this patio redo is going to eat my lunch. I'm so beyond ready to have it finished. I guess we'll be using it for fall instead of summer. But that's ok. All in good time.
Xo,
Keri
Beautiful post Anita! When I was reading this it so reminded me of our relationship with God (the master) and how when we yield to Him we become stronger and He gives us what we need to be the person He created us to be. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for following my posts. We came home from the hospital yesterday and all is well. I hope to do another post soon.
Love to you!
Heidi
Such clarifying wisdom you do have...isn't it a pity that we don't just inherently know this stuff, but have to be taught/reminded of it?
ReplyDeleteon a side note, how on earth did they ever ride side saddle...i tried it once, it is almost impossible...

Anita, cheers to a wonderful weekend! Thanks for coming to my ocean post - let's sing "Azzuro" together ;) xox
ReplyDeleteAnita, I can only say how beautiful you are because of how you write and how it reflects your inner soul!!! My love of horses cannot be rivaled. It is the most exhilarating rush to be on their backs as they run out of control ( of course if you can stop them!) My riding days are behind me, but our 2 horses in our yard are the loves of our lives and ties to our lifelong obsession. Beautiful post my dear. Have a wonderful weekend.

Anita,
ReplyDeleteIf you stop by to see Nel's latest post, she made a bulletin board, and if you look closely, you can see your 'kindness' tag that you made on there. I guess she really liked it enough to put on her bulletin board. Have a wonderful day, my beautiful friend.
Love,

Oh thank you sweet Anita! Thanks for my morning wake up compliment from you oh so consistently.
ReplyDeleteOn those fonts on my header:
You know they are two separate fonts, right? The 'sequins' is a different font than the other words, right?
Scriptina Pro = sequins
Bilbo Swash Caps = the rest
Just a bit more fyi, that's all.
Love to you and have a grand weekend!
How wonderful, thank you so much for such wisdom dear Anita, this came to me in the precise moment! Thank you for sharing and God bless you. Have a lovely weekend.
