ReplyDeleteDear Anita,
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to see a beautiful new post from you - always a delight to come and see what you have to share, dear friend.
Thank you for adding some sparkle to all our lives. Also appreciate the kind visit to me, always lovely to hear from you.

ReplyDeleteDearest Anita,
I believe this is one of my favorite posts! Your words always touch my heart.. I love the images and Music.
I think I see dear Mozes!
It was so good to hear your sweet voice today... Thank you for being such a dear friend..
Love,
Penny
Another lovely post, and the Forrest Gump soundtrack is just perfect, Anita. Impeccable timing on your part: I am reviewing the basics of English composition these days - including the all-important punctuation - as I prepare for the WA State examination for all aspiring teachers, the WEST-B. Wish me luck, and [using les points de suspension,] wait and see... Bisous de Veronique, ton amie de Seattle (French Girl in Seattle)
ReplyDeleteAnita, yes, we are all waiting for something. Anticipation is a magical feeling, just as your words bring joy to my day. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHello Lovely One!
ReplyDeleteI am sitting here in paint-spattered clothes, having spent the last 4 hours painting a tiny room white for a little girl.
What a treat to experience your inspired post here! You have brought such beauty to my day.
Your words are so enlightening, and those images, magical!!!

This really hit home for me, Anita, as I have been waiting for something special myself, and hoping I will be delighted with it next year. I LOVE the cloud picture, as I have a thing for the clouds. It would be nice to just hold one in our hands sometime. The little bear is sooooo cute, and the box of chocolates I could eat all day long. I am like the little girl and the dog waiting, and I want to thank you for reminding me to wait patiently. Sometimes I get a bit anxious. You are a beautiful writer, and I hope this year of teaching is off to a good start for you.
ReplyDeleteHave a peaceful Sunday, my dear, just like your words are peaceful to me.
Love,
Sheri
Lovely imagery as always. Your dancers images are always my favorites. It is so true. Punctuation can alter the meaning of a sentence. It is important to take the time to make sure the thought you want to convey is actually going to be understood by the reader.
ReplyDeleteAnita, I love your posts. It rings so true and the images--especially those 2 horses are just dreamy!
ReplyDeletexo Mary Jo
I totally agree Anita, we are all waiting for something, the question for me is WHAT? Something better, which makes me sad and suggests that what we have is not good enough. I am trying harder to live in the moment and stop waiting, enjoy who I am and where I am. You always make me ponder, I love IT!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday dear friend.

ReplyDeleteAnita, that we think is one of your best ever. We really enjoyed it......the words and the carefully chosen images. Fabulous. Hope all is well with you.
ReplyDeleteHave a serene Sunday.

~ Finding the wonderful in each day, Lovely Anita...and maybe not waiting for some thing that is perhaps already there..That's how I try to live...Anita...the little cuddly bear with the daisy in his toes is so special and I have been back to browse him again...Beautiful words, sights and thoughts as always....Twinkly November hugs to YOU! ReplyDeleteAmazing, Anita! Thoughtful, deep and so very, very true. We ARE all waiting for something. The worst possible fear is feeling that there is nothing to expect anymore. But often a change of mindset is all it takes to know there is something magical out there still.
ReplyDeleteI have just spent eight hours in ER due to breathing difficulties. It was, actually, a wonderful thing. Time out to reflect and just be and let others look after me. All is well - the French are so thorough when it comes to the tests they run - but I think today I will be just resting and I am grateful for this enforced break.
Sending you love from France,
Stephanie
Wowwwwww...Anita !!!!....i am speechless...what a beautiful post !!!....love from me happy sunday my friend.......and i am waiting for you to met once !!!...x !
ReplyDeleteLovely, and yes, we are waiting. XO
ReplyDeleteSo true Anita! ILOVE the sweet poetry in this post, which has just the right feeling for this time of year, when the world is more black and white and grey and we are waiting .... This is why we need christmas so much i think, The images you found are adorable - so precious, these breathing horses - the bear and all the others!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU SO MUCh for your encouragement with my new designs dearest! I know you've got great taste so i feel really flattered you like them. I'm just getting started here - let's see what will come from it.
Cheers to a lovely weekend! I wish we could share a good cup of tea and am thinking of you, while i have one ... have the sweetest of sundays!
I can't help but feel that we are in such a strange place in human history that we have some dread in the waiting not just hope.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me very sad. Instead of hopefullness, there is an underlying worry that what's next will shatter what is. I know we have gone through this before in our relatively short human history but it is the first time I feel it. All we all can do is reach for the light and counter all the ugliness and greed that is eating us alive.
Life may be like a box of chocolates, but there are some in the box that will do us harm Choose wisely, live beautifully.
Wonderful Anita!! Your images are so soulful! Xoxo

Love this, the music, your words and the pictures......we live in an uncertain world so much unpredictability, some many "norms" that we had to force ourselves to adjust to. Its a new world, a very quickly changing world......but as with everything in life, we need to stay vigilant and wise but never get so lost in doing so that we forget to enjoy the beauty that still is very much around us.
ReplyDelete`My dear sweet beloved friend ,
ReplyDeleteTears in my eyes .....my first comment with my new hip
My new life Oh Anita this is really lifechanging .
I made a new start since I came home from the hospital
My children cleaned my house , the second floor , the first floor and downstairs
every corner shines and the whole house surrounds me with clean fresh LOVING energy.
They even gave me the most wonderful dark-blue carpet on my stairs
My stairs were wood and abraded and now
every time I stand before the stairs to go up or down
I feel like I am a queen and the carpet is unrolled for me
It feels so soft under my feet LOVINGsoft .......
The pain is removed with the old hip .
Of course I have to have fysiotherapy twice a week
but I love to work on that kmowing it is for the best ....
I am so happy to be home again.
I feel surrounded by love .
My children and my family and friends and neighbours all are so helping and caring .....
so ....here I am ....back again .
THE RIGHT PUNCTUATION CAN LIFT YOUR LIFE OUT OF THE ORDINARY
I have really really really been waiting for a long-long-long time for ....THIS .

A lovely post as always, you have such a way with words....I love how those words came off the page! Here's to a wonderful week ahead....love Dzintra xo
ReplyDeletewow Anita. Your posts all capture me, but this one is AMAZING. So fitting for you too! How you take words and marry them with images that touch our hearts is out of this world! This speaks to so many of us, especially now. You are brilliant. Thank you for being there, you are such a sparkle in our lives!!!! XOXO

ReplyDeleteFabulous post, Anita! Such a powerful and beautiful theme of punctuation!
ReplyDeleteHello beautiful Anita!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI adore this post!!!! Wonderfully stated and those Chanel shoes are gorge!!!!!
I love the image where the words look like they are coming alive!!!! That is so cool!!!!
We have tornados and crazy weather all over the place!!!! The Bears game is Chicago is postponed for now. What bizarre weather for mid November!!!!!
My husband & I picked up Riley's ashes yesterday. It was difficult going back to where I last saw Riley alive but I knew I had to go inside and face it. The pendant I chose is beautiful and I'm so glad I had some of his ashes placed in this beautiful glass pendant....
My blog post this week is dedicated to the style of Jackie O- with the 50th anniversary of the JFK assassination coming up this week I wanted to do a style tribute to Jackie who I think still has such a strong influence on women all over. Especially oversized sunglasses!!!!!
Hope your weekend has been great!!!!

Aw, what a sweet message for the end of the day. I will have sweet dreams now. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLovely post and yes, a thoughtful one. Contentment in life is all very well; I know I enjoy mine. But a life with nothing hoped for? That's like a Christmas where you don't want any of your wrapped presents. Very dull.
ReplyDeleteIt is always lovely to read your words, listen to your choice of music and view sweet pictures.
ReplyDeleteToday, I related most to the brown bear on his back in the grass taking the time to smell the flowers. I wonder if that will be the picture I relate to most tomorrow or the next day.
I say that because your posts are not one time reads. I go back again and again to enjoy.

Dear Anita,
ReplyDeleteYou really do have a way with words! Do know why you do a course on poetry my friend, you don't need it! You could teach poetry classes. Your students must be lucky to have such an sensitive and inspirational French teacher! You always find the prettiest music to accompany your posts too :-)
Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog too. You always manage to lift my spirits and make me feel special. A true gift!
Sending you love!

Hi Anita , So glad I dropped by.I enjoyed Your very poignant poem. Each and every moment of Our life should be savored to the fullest.Listen silently to the moment. You have inspired Me with that thought even if I may have gotten Your meaning wrong.I will read it more than once of course. We put Our own punctuation's in our life-Genius My Dear Anita. Can You get better at expressing Yourself in poetry?I think not-I'm beginning to think You truly are a poetic genius and I still encourage to publish for Us :) Please,Loving wishes-Denise
ReplyDeleteDear Anita,
ReplyDeleteYou are of course correct: We are indeed al waiting for something. I think that our entire lives are made up of waiting for something: whether it is as mundane as 'dinner' as as sublime as 'death'.
And hand-in-hand with 'waiting' comes 'anticipation'.
Bye for now,
Kirk

DeleteThank you for your interest in my Etsy shop; as you know, it takes time to run a shop, and this year, I'm not drawing any more designs. Your support is greatly appreciated!
I hope one day there will be another special post, just for you. That's the fun of writing, and as Forest Gump's mama might say, "...YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GONNA GET..."
XOXOXO
This is a beautiful post on many different levels. I was an English major in college because I love literature, but I have always had a fascination with the rhythm and beauty of language, how one word over another, one punctuation over another, can completely change the intent and meaning.
ReplyDeleteAlways waiting for something... (I use ellipses quite a bit in my writing) ...that's an intriguing thought too.
Lots of inspiration for a Tuesday morning.
Hope you have a wonderful week!

Indeed we are always waiting ... but sometimes we must remember to stop and acknowledge that maybe what we are waiting for may have already arrived and we are letting it pass us by ...

ReplyDeleteThat is your best post EVAH! It was cohesive in meaning and thought. Very nicely done, girlfriend, very nice. I can see your writing being more and more of an experience rather than a challenge; a flowing thought rather than more or less ideas put together. Continue and your audience will grow with you. ♥
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post dear Anita. Love the Ballerina. Beautifully written with so much meaning. One can interpret this with so many choices.. To each their own. Thank you for visiting sweet one. xo Linda

ReplyDeleteAnita, I so love how you put those words (and pictures) together! But I have to say, you had me at the words of the header ... cause I'm not feeling it lately. Maybe it's just the winter blues already starting. Thanks for all you say...and give...and ...you know what I'm saying.
ReplyDeleteLive your life between the dashes...they say....1957---????....I hope my dashes are just the right punctuation marks!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing yourself with us. I eagerly look forward to your posts. You always surprise, delight, and educate me. You have meaningful things to say and you say it in a way that is so eloquent.

hi Sweet Anita!
ReplyDeleteHoping your vacation is resting well upon you. We had a nice Thanksgiving and the pumpkin pie was the best part. Thanks for your visits and commenting so cute! My grandsons are so precious to me lately. I guess it is because they are so young and I am 11 years older than I was when I had my first granddaughter. Age has a way of changing that perspective. I have changed up my blog design again and did about 5 others in between (which are in my 'puter, still). I am building up a portfolio of perhaps, just perhaps doing designs for other bloggers or for some such industry. I really love doing it. Between my thrift outfits and my blog designs, my artistic mode is being enhanced each day. Yay!
My very best,
Renae

ReplyDeleteMy only regrets would be that I was not part of your family so I could sit at your beautiful table of thanks and take in your grey's of silver and whites of dinnerware and the cozy setting of staging in your French country home.
Love this post, and that sweet picture of WowNess was when the fabric was lifted to the clouds so theatrically.
See you soon my beautiful soulful friend.
