As I was scrolling down through your post, I couldn't help but realize how wonderful it is that you speak french fluently. Nel said that I should take a class in Greek language. Wouldn't that be something?

Can't wait for the trip. Perfect timing to pack my suitcases, since I'll be in Paris for a couple of days the following week. Thanks for putting this together....
ReplyDeleteDebi
Dear Anita, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind words and your congratulations on my published work. I truly appreciate your genuine support!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit and give credit to my son, who actually made the gif for me. It was made on a Mac. He first made the video with an iPhone, then put the video in iMovie and saved it as an image sequence. After that, using another program GifFun you must drag all the pictures that have been saved and save the new moving image. I hope this information is helpful. Enjoy the spring weather.
Oh I cannot wait! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend in your garden or at least relaxing!

Looking forward to it.

Hi Anita,
ReplyDeleteEvery day when I leave for work, the train to Paris is leaving on the next platform. I watch the people on the platform, ready to board the train. Suitcases by their side, a coffee in their hands...going to one of the prettiest cities in Europe. I often envy them :-)
Your photo's capture the 'French feeling' wonderfully! They make me want to step on the train straight away. I once did two/three years ago, but perhaps in autumn I will do it once more!
Happy new week & thank you for always leaving such sweet comments.

What fun...it will be amazing my sweet friend. I must find time to visit all of your wonderful friends. You are at school today...yahoooooo! It is a lovely Monday here..sun already shinning brightly. Enjoy your day and make good things happen. I am just using your little note card to write up a thank you to a friend who helped with my event on Sat. It was such success and blessed so many...I now feel so BLESSED! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by, Anita. I was so busy with all the page changes throughout the weekend I barely had time to respond or leave a more detailed comment. My goodness, I had added your URL to my blogroll but apparently there is another page with your title and I was linking to the wrong one. Whew...don't want that. I fixed everything including the party button now.
ReplyDeleteThe writing's on the chalkboard here too, huh. ;) I love it.
Have a beautiful day, love.

Oh Anita! I know! When I live in Seattle area for 4 years we only had two weeks of summer and winter each and then all the rest of the years was a cool sameness that wouldn't hardly change from day to day except for more rain. hahahahaha. Thanks for your fun visit to simple sequins this morning. (hug)
ReplyDeleteHello beautiful Anita!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow was your weekend?
This is a COOL post!!!! I love the moving train image to France- how awesome is that!!!!!!
It was so cold here this weekend- 45 degrees & rainy for the first weekend of May!!!!! That's almost unheard of; we've had a much cooler spring than normal.
Hope your weekend was warmer and great!!!!!!
Lots of Luv,
Shannon
Magnifique! Oui, oui, je vous rejoindrai avec plaisir! Merci, Anita!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning dear one...thank you for visiting me so bright and early! I will send out a little prayer for you next Tuesday... have a great day with your little ones...it has been very hot here ....even too hot for the garden! ReplyDeleteGood morning, darling soul sister of this only child. :) It's like a breath of fresh sunshine to see your face pop up in comments. You make such a difference in this little corner of the world.
ReplyDeleteI see that train and I remember Narnia and my Snow in July party. Sigh...where has the time gone and why did I come back through the wardrobe? ;)
I look forward to all the dreaming again at this party, dear. I am spinning an idea but it is quite the task. I hope I can pull it off, but either way it has my creative spirit going and I thank you for that.
Have a beautiful day.

ReplyDeleteI am mailing you a little late birthday gift you can take it or make it on your journey to Paris...hint, hint!
I'm having blog issues and I've lost my readership some how but I have a blog pal to the rescue that says she can patch it up and fix it for me. Thank heavens for computer wizards!
I'm doing pretty good, nothing to complain about and everything to be thankful for.
This weekend is Len's birthday and Mother's Day all rolled into one!
Miss you much, much, much!
I'm back!!! Thought I'd stop by today for some French inspiration. Still spinning those wheels. Oh, I so hope my idea for the party will work. I have never attempted it, but I must. Of course, if it fails, no one will ever know. hahaha I'll simply have to start over. I think I will work on it this weekend. Tic-toc-tic-toc...anticipation. ;)
ReplyDeleteWonderful Wednesday!!! <3
Que lindo post, França é um lugar mágico onde tudo acontece.
ReplyDeleteTenha uma ótima semana.
Hi sweet Anita! Oh I have a fun post in the planning stages for my France entry. I am hoping I can get one more item for it first. It will be about Style..... yay!
ReplyDeleteI entered a giveaway a few weeks ago and I won but since my connection with Ding Dang Facebook was not linked right (thanks to them) I could fully qualify for the prize and I had to give it up. Sad. So I do hope you did it correctly. They are a bit of a labyrinth but well worth the reward/effort.
Hope your day is lovely again. We are having a thunderstorm right now. I hope our power isn't affected by it.
(hug)

You know how to
SURPRISE us old-fashioned Bloggers
I found my way back blogging
I think it is how you have noticed for yourself sometimes a bit too much going on in our lifes
To get back on the right train can be confusing but also surprising !
All happens for a reason and
I am being surprised by a garden-make-over so my world is a bit
DISORDERLY right now and that seems to be my direction this year ...
So much is happening along with all of that .
You know it is very surprising how disorder can make things clearer
not only in my house and now in my garden but also inside myself .
I have been afraid for change for far too long and now life is showing me so much amazingness ...
Beyond the disorder NEW THINGS can come and already came to me .
AND I LOVE MY NEW LIFE SO MUCH MORE
Since I am now no longer a teacher and I have no longer my children to take care of ......
I have been given this whole new life just for ME ......
Of course I will always be a mother and a grandmother but there has come a whole new amazing future my way .
the disorder is a part of the transmission - journey and it is a very important part .
So I am doing okay More than okay
and I will be gladly be on your train .
Is there a place where I can read-back how it works when the time is there ....
Is the date may 17 ?
I saw what you wrote at Koralee's about your interview , I will be thinking of you Hope all will be okay for you .
Big big hug to you and lots of love from Holland and me
Dear Anita, thank you for leaving such a lovely comment on my blog. I would love to see your collection one day. Maybe you will blog about it when you return from France! Barbara x
ReplyDeleteOh Anita! You are so fun! Yes it is polka dot wearing time in the sunshine. We had tremendous thunderstorms yesterday and it really cooled us off. But, today is sunny and warm. awh.
ReplyDeleteThank YOU for your nice words. My France post is taking shape! Yay! (it has to be a surprise)
Looking forward to this Anita! I can't wait to go back to France. I feel that going to Paris was just touching the surface or all there is to see. This reminds me.. I need to do some pinning while I'm here this morning to show off a few of these lovely images!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by to say hello this morning. I am so happy to hear that you have a warm (HOT!) day in store. It's about time, right??!

Great words on niceness to me today. Yes, the Blue Lemon is so refreshing as the name implies. Their tag line is: Pure clean food with a twist. So creative, huh? They have a tremendous bakery, too that had sold out of their sugar cookies. They have a round sugar cookie with half inch of cream cheese on top and then fresh fruit cut on top of the cheese! The best!!!! Have the best day ever!!!!!
