ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit Anita. I miss you too and I find my thoughts often wandering to where you are. Remembering that not all that wander are lost. We shall always know where to find each other.
We have started a backyard project. We have been in our home now 5 years and it's taken that long to agree on what to do with the backyard. Ha...just kidding! We are adding an apple tree, planting lilacs and old fashioned flowers. Len just make the cutest stone path, I will need to snap pictures and show them on my blog.
If you find a free moment, come and see the adorable little pincushion shoes the ladies at work made in our Crafter-Afternoon. I promise it will add charm to your weekend! Poof, just like that!
Len's birthday rolls in tomorrow. I plan to whisk him away to a auction and a visit to a steakhouse we've been wanting to go to for years.
In memory of year dear mom, I'm thinking of you this Mother's Day.

Oh Anita I woke up this morning to this beautiful post....what a party you gals are going to have....and I will partake from the sidelines!

But the buld all sauteed up was just delicious....Do try it, perhaps you and Irina could sit down to this meal...it's nice and easy and she should have her issue of the magazine soon!

Hello beautiful Anita!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous post- I love visiting your blog every time you post a new masterpiece!!!!!!
Wouldn't it be the best if we could meet in Paris tomorrow morning for coffee & breakfast? If only travel wasn't complicated & we could magically blink our eyes and be with the friends we wish to be with and the places we want to be!!!!!
I bought a beautiful vintage white crochet long dress with scalloped edges at the hem and it's short sleeved..... it's so pretty. It's very difficult to locate white vintage crochet that's in pristine condition with no stains.
I also bought a pair of silver sparkly heels with silver metallic heels.
My husband & I went to see The Great Gatsby this weekend!!!!! We loved it; we saw the 3-D version. What a feast for the eyes!!!!! You really feel as though you've been transported to 1922 and are experiencing Gatsby's world of parties and decadence!!!!! The costume design is A-1 and the jewelry is just gorgeous!!!!!!! You should go see it!!!!!!
Hope you had a fabulous weekend!!!!!
Love & Hugs,
Shannon

I do not know how to "grab" the button. The way I've done this with others is to copy the html code that appears under the button, but I cannot find your html code. Can you send an email message with suggestions for what to do, please?
Also, if you would like to include my name in the list of participants, please do. Since the others have their names listed, I would like to give you that option.

I usually create my blog post as stream of consciousness. Now this has taken some work! I have already rewritten several times. WHo knows what I will have by Friday? But I am SOOOO looking forward to seeing what all of your blog friends come up with. Vive la France!
ReplyDeleteI've got my spec's on and I'm ready to read. Must make a pot of coffee for I shall be here for awhile!
ReplyDeleteOh I am sad that you can't locate some sparkle jeans. Every time I wear mine I am wondering if you are wearing your. I usually wear mine when I am out to dinner with my HM, but I wore them on Sat evening with my entire fam and I was nervous to have my grandies sit on my lap for fear they would scratch them or pick at them. So I have learned they are only for just me, shopping or dining with HM or the gal pals. See you on Friday.................

I can't wait to be a participant of this remarkable French expression Party!!! French in all languages of virtual photography!
ReplyDeleteOooo! I like the food photos...I was beginning to get hungry just viewing them. I could almost taste the bread...and were those black truffles? They looked amazing.
I know this will be a blog party beyond all blog parties!!!
The expectation is high here among all those who are going to participate.
And thank you dear Anita for the chance for being in the draw for the French Essence book.
We were in Napa last week and the feel is similar to being in France with all of the vineyards and rolling hills. I do love our own California wine country! It is superb!
Until Friday my dear....

Oh...I did notice when you mentioned my blog name you used an extra 'e' on 'whimsey'...such is the English language! I always spell 'lacy' without the 'e' as some spell it lacey.(The dictionary shows it spelled both ways) Google Blogger would not accept it when I wanted to spell 'Whimsey' with an 'e' in it either...such is life!

Again, I apologize, and if it is too late, I completely understand.

I just read your comment on Burlap Luxe - that is how far I have gotten on my "trip through France". You said you do not use your own pictures, but your own words. Your own words are beautiful. And, your posts fit with perfectly with one of the phrases on Burlap Luxe "pieces that standing alone have no value". You take photos that standing alone are lovely, but put together with your words they become amazing.
ReplyDeleteAnita dear, stopping in again to thank you for an amazing fun day of visiting and meeting new friends. Oh my goodness so many wonderful photos to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteMerci, and I hope your are taking a well deserved rest. Hope you decide to do this again!
