When life becomes art

Winter's nightgown

spreads

across a dormant

April countryside

that refuses to rise.

les dames d'abord

But it's from the inside

where spring

flowers

in

Minnesota.

At the farmhouse of a friend

Clara and I played

with

French antiquities

les dames d'abord

and petal-thin frocks.

les dames d'abord

The more the three of us experimented

les dames d'abord

the more we realized

that our lives are

masterpiece that shape-shifts

the light beams that meet us.

les dames d'abord

Glorious morning

we search outside

of

ourselves

for spring

les dames d'abord

and come back

finding it within.

  2. I always find sweet serenity when I come visit your timeless blog, Anita dearest!
Your photography blew me away! The color blue is one of my weaknesses...very swoon worthy, indeed. The loveliness of the exquisite vintage dress demands to be frozen in time with these shots. And sweet Clara is loveliness herself. She reminds me a lot of THE Clara in France. I see the snow has melted and the grassland beckons.
    Always with love and bliss!

These are all such lovely photos, but that picture with the Rosary is something very special. Please frame that one in your home, it's just so beautiful. Are the flowers blooming in your area yet?

Oh, about my hair color......Yes, it was light brown and even blondish at the ends. I certainly understand why you were late on commenting. And your comments do thrill me when I see them. You are so special, Anita, and if your real life world hasn't acknowledged that by now, I want you to know that this blog friend has. You mean the world to me.

  56. Anita, the landscaper came to my house and planted a small tree in my back yard. He is coming back on Monday to plant some flowers in one of the garden areas. I told him that I may want Daisies, but not sure and I'll keep thinking of flowers to plant. Then, I saw these daisies on your Instagram and thought, "oh yes, daisies might be just the right flower to plant in my back yard." Did I ever tell you that they remind me of my mom? That was a lovely photo, and just wanted to tell you that. ~Sheri
