  6. May is surely a beautiful month, and my birthday month! Spring has finally arrived in your area, and the blossom trees look glorious. They have already come and gone here. Oh, I love that picture of the shoe, it's so mysterious and lovely. It looks like you have many vintage outfits and accessories to play around with when using your camera. Your pictures just made my mother's day. They're sooooo pretty.

I am elated that you are back on your blog sharing your mesmerizing images and transcending words! I have been away for awhile. Somehow I missed your return. Likely because I switched from Google to Wordpress a couple months ago. Our Spring has been the warmest and loveliest in memory.

  36. I couldn't agree with you more Anita. There is something about May, about spring: the blossoms, the young leaves on the trees, the birdsong... that makes it special. The waking up of nature after a long, dark winter. The fairy in your photo's adds to the beauty of it all.

    Have a lovely weekend ahead.

    In a secret valley
    Of my restless mind
    I saw a noble woman
    Sweet and kind
    Rare gifts she scattered
    As trough my dreamworld
    She passed apace
    Divine smile, when she met
    And clothing this veiled place
    With loveliest reflection
    Of her face...

  42. It comes as a surprise each year, doesn't it? A very welcome surprise. I'm kind of partial to May myself, it being my birth month. I must tell my mother that it was great timing!

I'm so glad that you called it to our attention that May is the time when reality and make-believe walk as one heart!

  67. PIGEON SOUP, OH MY! Anita, I love hearing stories about your dear mother. She sounds wonderful, and so grounded. Family seemed to be important to her, and she sounds like a silent but strong woman. My dad always wanted us to try different foods that my mom made, even if we didn't want to. And I'm glad that he did, cause now I can say that I tried certain foods. The hunting doves look a bit different than the doves we see around our homes. And a little secret.....I had to cut off his little feet in the pictures because he was standing on a light fixture that had bird mess all over it hahaha.

Have a good rest of the week, Anita. I bet you're out of school now. Jess is too! Relax and enjoy the summer days, sweet friend.
