How Do You Graciously Say Good-bye

to someone you love

but who's

out-stayed their welcome?

 With flowers, of course.

 Because

now it's time to prepare

for

a new house guest

whose arrival is extolled on every

street corner

and in every

celestial - earthly place.

Preparations are intense

as we greet the most fleeting

yet most

profound season

that comes

THEN

in the blink

of

a heart beat

takes

your breath away.

  5. Have you gotten any blossoms yet? Oh, these photos are beautiful, Anita. I know it would be hard to say good-bye to that white wonder....but I bet you're ready for Spring. What kind of flower is that in your white bouquet? They're so unique and lovely. Oh, I would love to see those blossom trees grace your street corners, what a sight! They look a bit Purplish to me. That's an amazing photo with the light coming through. Please share your Spring when it arrives. I look forward to seeing all that beauty.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, dear one.

    love, ~Sheri

  6. From your mouth to God's ears, Anita! I find myself mentally skipping down that brick path past the park bench, in time to your music, sweet purples blooming over my head. Towards Spring! So lovely, dear artist!

  7. Anita, Another lovely post filled with magical words and images. We are seeing so many signs of Spring here already. I have to be honest, aside from the incessant rain we had a very mild winter so I am not so ready to say goodbye. I understand that your winter has been long, cold and snowy so I am sure that you are "chomping at the bit" as they say to see the beauty of Spring. I cannot wait to see what you create this Spring and Summer.

Have a breautiful week my friend, xo Elizabeth

  10. I remember when I lived in St. Paul, walking past a pile of black snow in a corner of a parking lot in late April. It looked as if it would still be there Aug. 15. Indestructible.
Your photos are always so beautiful. Candy for the eyes and food for the soul.
    Thank you!

  17. In a harsh and busy world where beauty and softness have to take a backseat to demanding necessities of the here and now, your lovely, scripted words dancing around beautiful images & floating on sweet music are always a breath of fresh air. I never realize how much I look forward to your sweet interruptions until I open them up and my breath comes out in a heavy sigh. You, my friend, are a delight.

  25. Absolutely beautiful, my dear friend! These flowers of yours are stunning, but I also like the minimalism in your last photo! I can't wait for spring to unfold here; it's been such a long, cold and colourless winter...

  26. So beautiful. Just so beautiful. I'm waiting for a book of your photographs, even if it is a tiny book for your readers & IG'ers only. We'll buy it !!
    Sending love, darling Anita.
