Sweet! That's what matters, isn't it? You've totatlly captured the mood of autumn moving to winter. I'm sure your home is absolutely stunning, yet nothing is perfect. But when a loved one loves us anyway, nothing else matters. Peace. :)

Oh, Oh, oh my sweet friend Anita ... Such a beautiful post. After over 36 years together I still feel my heart race and suddendly fall in love over and over again with my chosen adored one. This post is so meaningful and special and I love your chosen photos but the ones that are heartfelt ones are the ones of your home. Love will always embrace in every season, it's magical the secrets and understandings shared with our soul mates who is " the one ". Home is where the heart is ... Please share more of your beautiful home.
I'll be back in an email later,

Anita, another beautiful post. I have learned as the years go by that it's not what's in the home, but whom that makes it so special. For instance, our baby girl is home and there is nothing better. Beautiful music to go with magnificent pictures. I could sit and stare at the rain coming down all day long. Have a blessed weekend my friend.

I was wondering if this is your home Anita? It looks so peaceful!

Anita,
How special it is that your loved one's favorite part of the day is coming home to you. I remember seeing husband's red truck driving up to the front yard and being so happy that he was off from work and the rest of the day was ours. I really love your fireplace, it makes your room so charming. And that little lamp is so unique. Wherever did you find that? It's nice to have these wonderful people in our lives, isn't it? It makes life so much richer.

That candle picture is beautiful. I love candles, and I think I have one in every room hehehe.

Have a blessed weekend with your loved one, Anita, and thank you for the wishes for Nel. She has been working so hard trying to get her Ph.D. and it won't be long now. Did your husband ever get his? That is awesome! It's such a grueling process that I will be relieved when it's over.

love,
~Sheri

Your peek into your home has always pulled at the gravity of earthly beauty. You must share more of your home, it's truly what we demand from you only because of the poetry it reads.

The love in your home is so apparent, you and Ruben share a life and home to love.

Contemple l'aurore

BISOUS

Hello beautiful Anita!!!!
What a fabulous post!!!! I love the gorgeous chandeliers with rustic, welcoming, decor!!!!
My husband is much better- wow!!!! What a week we had!!!! He hadn't been that sick in about 17 years!!!!! He caught a really bad flu when we first met and was extremely sick. I haven't seen him that sick since we were married until last week. Luckily the meds helped and lots of rest pushed him to recovery. He still feels tired but is MUCH better!!!!!
It's been cool here but absolutely gorgeous; I love autumn!!!!

Beautiful Sister!
How are you feeling? I hope you are back to good health again. I'm sorry you had laryngitis! We are doing good. The boys (Rob included) had colds...Rob is feeling much better...Santino still has a runny nose, but it really hasn't stopped any of them much. Lol...We are having RAIN and lots of it today. Could get up to 1 1/2 inches with gusts of wind up to 40 mph. I love the stormy weather though!

I am excited for trick or treating. Maximus didn't want to go last year. We talked about it...but he said he didn't want to go...and said, "maybe when I get a little older." HA! So, I figured, why force it? So this year should be LOTS of fun! Both of them going. :) I tried to talk Rob into dressing up too, but no go on that. Ha! I have to give him credit though, because he "thought" about it. teehee!!!

I remember seeing a photo of you dressed up as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz before. Do you dress up for school ever?

Well, hope you have a good rest of the week. So wish we lived closer so we could visit together and you could see some of the action of these two little rascals in person!

Love to you!

The fire and the rain in this post look so real; like it is happening right then and there. Anita - cool. Thanks for the visit and the cheers of no more radiation. I still will have to soothe my injured breast (it is very sunburned) for two more weeks and then I have a follow up in a month and it should be all normal looking by then. It hurts at times but the soothing aloe vera and a cream called "The Girls" is very nice. And as a going away / last day bonus they gave me a pedicure coupon to get a freebie in the Hospital Salon. Oh and I need that right now. I am so happy to have those two major treatments; chemo and radiation behind me and stay farrrrrrrrrrr behind me to buckOs!!! ♥

Oh Anita! Yes I am hunting down that jacket in my size let me tell ya!!!!!!!!!! Hope you had a pleasant day at work. I have to go back to bed. The sunburn that radiation caused is very painful today especially under my left armpit, near the lymph node site. Urgh, I want to be all better NOW. {spoke like a true blue spoiled brat} LOL ♥

I just remembered I read this beautiful post through my email subscription, but didn't come here to leave a comment! Such a lovely post dear friend and your home...is one I simply treasure. It's incredibly beautiful and your gardens with your rabbits are pure heaven. I imagine you playing your harp with the sunlight on your face and the birds and the bunnies listening with contented hearts. Hugs to you my friend.

My dear heart, thank you for your thoughts and comment about my father-in-law. It's been such a hectic week with everything. He was always good to me, and such an easy going person, especially for having 10 children!

Can you believe it's almost November! I'm seeing lots of Christmas décor out there already.

Here's to a beautiful day, my friend. My husband has been off for a week, and going to get coffee this morning. I'm loving his time off, but he goes back to work tomorrow.

love,
~Sheri

Hello dearest Anita!!!!!
Can you believe Halloween is this week???? Autumn has been so pretty this year; the leaves look more vibrant.
It was warm here yesterday but cooled off significantly overnight. I love wearing coats as the seasons change from summer to fall.....
How is school going?
Sending lots of hugs!!!!!

Take good care of yourself! Yest. was nice and sunny here and hubby and i had a walk through town, which was nice. Am working on including the last data into the magazine, which will go to the printer by next week. Will keep you posted as to when your issue can be expected ;) Hugs for a cozy day!

Dearest Anita, I loved this post! I must admit, I often times forget that home isn't home without my loved ones in it. No matter how beautiful we make a room, its only a space without our loved ones there to share it. You and Ruben share a love many only dream about. I am proud to say my Andy and I do as well. We are blessed! Much Love, Christel

Anita, Now that was so romantic... rain pelting the glass, mysterious music, flickering candles, classy but comfy home and LOVE.

Just wanted to wish one of my favorite ladies in blogland a HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I am just staying home tonight and greeting the kids with candy. It's a new housing division with only a few homes built yet, so will probably only get a few trick-or-treaters. Do you get any kids coming around your house at Halloween? Have a fun, spooky, and mysterious night, my friend.

love,
~Sheri

Anita,
Perhaps one of the most romantic things my husband ever said to me was, "I love seeing your car in the garage when I get home."
