Anita, i am for once early, and your fall post shares a bit of inspiration in finding ones wings, and taking flight in how ever it moves you to share, love, dance and beautiful self expression.
I love that fear never holds you back, you find inspiration in almost anything.

I love the tattered chair, and that room of rustic beauty moves me in so many ways.
I am looking forward to seeing the fold side table you mentioned in your email to me, I am so inspired as we talked about loving the idea of adding some aged gold pieces to our French homes. I so need to find a thrift, or yard sale side table so I can create some fold right along with you.

See you soon, and the beauty you so lovingly inspire us with.

Anita I love the shadow thrown by the ballerina. We all have many, many layers, some we show, some we do not, some to only one or a few dear friends or a love. The people I admire so much in life seem to be those who live it on their own terms and take the freedom to be themselves, all of the many layers!

Anita,
Love this post, love your prim bowl filled with Fall's harvest. Nice to see one of your photos used on this thought provoking post. Other people's perceptions, seems artists are often judged and studied. Most my life I was aware of perceptions, but when I turned 50 something magical occurred ... I just didn't care anymore, I was who I was and decided to live in truth of myself. Hey must be true ... with my blogs I reveal of myself and leave everyone reading my thoughts in my poetry. So Anita this is a thought provoking post and one that will linger in your followers minds.
You always post leaving us pondering a question it's what I love most about your blogging style. Happy Fall and I know you will see all its beauty.

Good Morning, Anita! I'm late coming here, as I'm still unpacking boxes here and there, but almost finished. These pictures on here today are incredible! I can totally relate to this post, because I am such a free spirit and being free means so much to me. Do I see a bit of Spanish in that beautiful fan? You know, many people think the crow is scary looking, but maybe he is a gentle bird, as you said, just waiting to be understood. Oh my gosh, that pink song bird is soooooo sweet. I am entranced with all the Autumn colors on these pictures, they are beautiful. They are getting me in the mood for Fall. It's already starting to get cooler here and I'm noticing the changes all around me.

Thank you for reminding me that freedom is such a precious gift. Your post also makes me think about our perception towards others, and that we must look deeper to understand who our fellow man really is. All the goodness comes out through your words, and I feel so blessed to call you my friend.

Oh I love what you've said, Anita. It resonates with me yet again. In October, I do feel a little dread. Everything is so beautiful, but I know it is only a matter of weeks before everything appears dead, and it becomes miserably cold. Then how beautifully you tied that perception in with being free from other's perception of us! It is truly a waste of time to wonder about what other people think, BUT WE DO IT ANYWAY! Freedom is truly precious. I think I'll have a different "perception" of October from now on. Thank you for the beautiful message!

I adore the month of October! I love the feel of the fall season, the leaves, the cooler weather (of course we don't get nearly as cold here in California as you do!). We have Canadian Geese which fly over our house two times a day. In the morning and in the evening. I love their honks to one another. Their voices resound with that energy to be free. It is a sound of solitude yet companionship as well with their 'V' formation flight. The lone leader in front, and when he is weary, he falls back and another one takes his place. Always someone to be there for that change in position. We never have to 'go it alone' as there is always Someone larger than the overall picture who will always be our guide, which is true freedom in every sense of the word.
thank you for your magnitude of perception.
always love and Light to you my dear friend,

I loved all of the other winged images and animals, though.

Yup, I am back and feeling fine. I had a weird transition from chemo to radiation and I had to step back and get a hold of my life for a while and hold of my blog in suspense for a while. I was considering letting it go, but I just couldn't once I was feeling well.

Hello dearest Anita!!!!!
Autumn is officially here!!!! October is my favorite month.
Did you have a good weekend? We went to the Pearl Jam concert; it was awesome!!!! We got the tickets in June so we were excited to go!!!!
How is school?
I got some really cool Just Cavalli boots that are knee length and have this multi color pattern. The heel isn't high but it's a great length. I'll post a photo of them in a upcoming blog post. I also got a hat at Coach. I could totally see you in this hat- Coach collaborated with a British milliner and it's a black hat- basic round style with black leather feathers at the left side with the silver turn lock that's significant to Coach. It's really cool but it's a hat I can see being stylish in 25 years!!!

Anita

Anita,
Thank you for the birthday wishes for Jess! Some of those pictures of her were funny and brought back pleasant memories for me. I am loving my new house and so glad to be in before the holidays. Moving is tiring though, and I feel like I have to be around nature right now to rejuvenate myself. That always does this girl good. I hope things are going well in your life. Are you taking any pictures lately? Even though I've been so busy with the move, you are always in my thoughts and I often think about my friend with the golden heart.

love,
~me

tHOSE bird images are lovely.
I love their colors and intensity in their eyes.
Ah yes, October is now nearing its half run
and I am feeling the cold air more and more each night
but am so glad that December is at hand.
Don't get me wrong,
I'm not fast-forwarding the days
but come to think of it
we are less than 80 days before Xmas.
I am revisiting this post
and it is still inspiring as it when I first came
to see it.

Enjoy!

Bonjour Anita!

Merci beaucoup de ce message si élogieux.
Et bravo aussi pour ce post, toujours poétique, toujours représentatif de ton style si particulier, si à part. A la fois baroque, raffiné, sophistiqué.

Très bonne journée!

Dearest Anita, thank you for your visit. I'm so sorry about my current post, it breaks my heart to share something like that on a page I put so much love into. I cry just thinking about all this evil, but then I wipe my tears and rise (bat my wings), more determined than ever to overcome it all with Perfect Love, and show them Whose I am.
Oh, I'm so glad you liked seeing your illustration. ;) I always do, and I find new ways to use it. I think I'm sticking to whimsical illustrations on my header. They remind me to guard my heart, to believe as a child, and not lose hope for humanity...EVER.

Oh Anita...(sending a big hug to our dear Marcia!)....I am here in between "meal shifts"...ha... ;) (Trying to be myself, although I really can't for the time being.) Feels like coming home here!
Anita, chere amie...your art is breathtaking as always....and of course, we need your message right now, more than ever. Your poetry makes me want to leap and dance...(with you and A...at the Swedish Inst.!)...I miss you!!!
That photo of the New England town landscape...woweeee! (I think that's where it is) The glittering fan, the sweet birds...so much beauty here...
Free as a bird...oh yes, oh yes.....those social and professional constraints are so tough. How I wish we could all be ourselves at all times....living a soul"FULL" life every moment of the day....
Thank you, my precious friend, for the gentle nudge...your gift here was exactly the balm I needed.
Wishing you days of joy and authenticity, dear one...always!!!
LOVE YOU!

Fall has arrived on the wings of your ethereal post, dear Anita. It's still 90 degrees here but you have me longing for cooler temps, pretty white pumpkins and fall leaves in the air. I'm beating my wings in anticipation of the season. Your images are stunning, as always. Is that ballerina you my friend? Have a lovely weekend!

Ha! YES ANITA .. feels so good to be ourselves! I was talking to a friend yesterday about this very topic. We all have several HATS that we rotate depending on the situation;) I'd like to say that at age 55 I have reached the butterfly stage. This individual I was speaking about the other day is still struggling to spread her wings.. and I hope she gets there! Love your poetry and it's fun to see what readers get out of it:) Hope you are well my friend and happy weekend!

Happy saturday dearest Anita! Just got home from shopping, having a cup of tea! Love the abundance of nature in fall - makes me want to bake and cook jam ;) Today, i'll just work a little more on the magazine - sometimes i enjoy the quietness on weekends for working - feeling so undisturbed and peaceful! Enjoy your day and all the lovely colors outside! xox

Lovely poem and artwork. You're so right Anita! Even those who think they know us will never know everything about us. They live in their perceptions of us or perhaps are interacting with us based on the image we created. The image I created changed when I married and then changed again and again. For example, I'm not the same, freedom loving woman he married--I am tamer now--and my wings clutch his heart.

Anita dear, such beautiful artwork and poetry. There is some darkness to it. Change is good sometimes. We are all changing. Have a fabulous weekend and enjoy the Autumn colors. xo

Happy weekend my sweet Anita. Oh how inspiration flows and in this Fall there is a difference in it's energy ... The onset of deep rest of nature for the winter months. Really hoping, eyes, fingers and toes crossed that this 4th season will usher in a gentleness of blanketed white but of mildness in temps. Oh of course a girl can dream, thanks for posting things that inspire us.
Much love to you,
Vera

Bonjour ma belle!

Enjoyed spreading my wings and feeling the freedom of flying with you this morning! How are you my darling? I think of you so often. I am home schooling my youngest granddaughter 2 days a week and it is quite an experience. Giving her mom a break since she home schools 2! We seem to be busy all the time on Golden Pond. Not sure how that happens but it does. We're enjoying the slow progression of the leaves changing and know it's a matter of time before Ohio is a patchwork of gorgeous color. I love the fall colors. Let me know what you've been up to my dear friend! Greetings to Rubin too!

Bisous, Edie Marie

yup, you missed me cuz i posted late. i whipped out a polyvore and called it good. i have learned that posing while sick isn't worth it.
But I was thrilled to see you this morning! So now we are even. or.... something. I only have 6 more sessions of radiation and I am hoping it will just be similar to how it has been thus far. I have a tremendous sun torched looking boob on my left chest with a rash in my cleavage but there are highly recommended solutions available that I am using that bears the pain and heat and all is well. Hope you had a nice day and that you are feeling well. Our weather is nippy slightly but sunny and yellow trees abound. It is October! ♥

Hello dearest Anita!!!!
How have you been? Are you having a good week?
I was late posting my blog this week because my poor husband is really sick. He has a vicious sinus infection mixed with a severe case of flu. We had him in the hospital on Monday.
He's back home and been sleeping since 6:30 last evening. He gets up for small meals & to take his medicine.
I have heard some really nasty viruses are going around.
So our week has consisted of keeping my husband comfortable and making sure he doesn't get any worse or it's back to the doctor.
The fall colors are beautiful here but it's been cool, damp, and rainy....
Sending love & hugs,
Shannon

Hello my sweet friend! Loved that you stopped by to see me today! Your encouragements and this LOVELY post here, do give me wings to soar. I am keeping my sights high! So many changes going on here daily. My son, my eldest child, has decided to take a break from college and go to work while living at home. The youngest is busy with her senior year in high school and working part time, while my middle child is enjoying her first year in college. I am enjoying the cooler Arizona fall weather. Enjoy October and blessings to you Anita! <3

Dear Anita, I know I always say this, but reading your posts is such a pleasure! Your words: freedom from other peoples' perception of you is like slicing through heaven...such perfection and the very thing I need to remind myself right now. So thank you for this and all those gorgeous images with that music! I know how much work goes into something like this and hope October has been good to you so far. I wanted to email you las month but couldn't seem to find your email in my very messy inbox...hope we can connect via email some time soon.

Yes, my sweet Anita! Please make the appointment for your breast health examination and I'll be praying fervently that you are super healthy and well. I DO NOT want anyone to experience what I have over this past year. (and I'm not done til May -with the herceptin drip every 21 days) Radiation is not a picnic either but I have been blessed with the TOMO therapy. I am barely uncomfortable and I have been able to keep my schedule and every thing. Aloe Vera 100% Gel is a God-send and cortisone cream helps too, cuz it itches at times. But ya, so much more manageable than chemodemodragonfagon. I am gradually getting back to posting easily and then my 'puter or Blogger rather acts up. urgh. But I got my post in and it is a throw back. I wanted to post all four pics like I did last year but that was the Blogger culprit pic. It wouldn't cooperate and it was transferring posts to other posts and getting me very upset. I just have to be very careful. The friend told me it was a Blogger issue. urgh. Love to you, tho. ♥, Renae

I love all of these images, Anita, but that Freedom one just stopped me in my tracks. Love it! Anyway, you asked about the harp. No, I don't play. My friend (who is holding the coffee cup for the dog) has a daughter who plays harp. It is a pedal harp that I think is the type you mentioned. They got it in Chicago where they make them.

Stunning imagery in all forms. 1000 words per image make all of us, your readers, ponder within ourselves, uniquely musing about the words that come to our minds which are different from the words that come to others.
