Sweet! That's what matters, isn't it? You've totatlly captured the mood of autumn moving to winter. I'm sure your home is absolutely stunning, yet nothing is perfect. But when a loved one loves us anyway, nothing else matters. Peace. :)
Oh, Oh, oh my sweet friend Anita ... Such a beautiful post. After over 36 years together I still feel my heart race and suddendly fall in love over and over again with my chosen adored one. This post is so meaningful and special and I love your chosen photos but the ones that are heartfelt ones are the ones of your home. Love will always embrace in every season, it's magical the secrets and understandings shared with our soul mates who is " the one ". Home is where the heart is ... Please share more of your beautiful home.
I'll be back in an email later,
Sending love,
Vera
So touching and simply amazing. Powerful images that sooth my soul, truly. Have a wonderful weekend ahead and I will send you an email real soon. xo Rhonda

Your post has touched my heart... Your words, the music and images... Simply beautiful! I have missed your posts..
Thank you for this... I will be back to linger in the magic of the moment.

Anita, another beautiful post. I have learned as the years go by that it's not what's in the home, but whom that makes it so special. For instance, our baby girl is home and there is nothing better. Beautiful music to go with magnificent pictures. I could sit and stare at the rain coming down all day long. Have a blessed weekend my friend.
It is always good to come back home.....home is where the heart is.....home is where Anita is....love from me Ria...happy weekend...x..!.💙❤️💜💚💛 !
Such beautiful words Anita! When I read them lots of happy memories came back to me, of the wonderful years I had with my husband. I am very happy for you to have such a loving husband, who appreciates you so much! Hope you will be able to enjoy each others company for many more years.
I was wondering if this is your home Anita? It looks so peaceful!
Have a lovely weekend!

Home *is* where the heart is. So beautiful, Anita. Peace.
Wow...this is such a moving post...it brought tears to my eyes! And, as always your photos are stunning. Have a lovely weekend, Anita! xoxo
Anita,
How special it is that your loved one's favorite part of the day is coming home to you. I remember seeing husband's red truck driving up to the front yard and being so happy that he was off from work and the rest of the day was ours. I really love your fireplace, it makes your room so charming. And that little lamp is so unique. Wherever did you find that? It's nice to have these wonderful people in our lives, isn't it? It makes life so much richer.
That candle picture is beautiful. I love candles, and I think I have one in every room hehehe.
Have a blessed weekend with your loved one, Anita, and thank you for the wishes for Nel. She has been working so hard trying to get her Ph.D. and it won't be long now. Did your husband ever get his? That is awesome! It's such a grueling process that I will be relieved when it's over.
love,
~Sheri
You are so sweetly and well loved by husband in the loving place you created together and call home:)
Your posts always touch my heart Anita but this one also touched my soul. The music is wonderful as are the words and images. I count myself lucky to have a home and someone to share it with. Thank you for reminding me of the important things in life. Have a lovely weekend dear friend. xxxx

Simply Breathtaking! Falling into Autumn Bliss...
"This beautiful"... has been consumed on a rainy night here in the Pacific Northwest.
Just me and The Chocolate Gousse. Mr D is away to field and stream. He shall bring some of Autumn's bounties HOME for our holiday table. We are blessed my beautiful friend!
You inspired me to build a fire.
Your home is breathtaking, Anita!
I will be back for another helping of HOME soon.

Oh Anita, stillness has settled on my heart, and your romantic entry here does not skip a beat with such beautiful photos yet, none that measure up to the emotional feeling your room embraces. Your peek into your home has always pulled at the gravity of earthly beauty. You must share more of your home, it's truly what we demand from you only because of the poetry it reads.
The love in your home is so apparent, you and Ruben share a life and home to love.
Anita, I read Rubens comment, he truly has words of beauty for you my dear.
I am now going back one more time to embrace the beauty of your home and all you inspire here.

Beautiful heartwarming post. I know how important it is now to have a home after moving around for so many years! This year has been the first time I can really relax in my own home. Love the inspiring photos you have collected, I wondered if you are on Pinterest, Anita?
There are so many great images there to collect as well as on Tumblr. I'm decorating my bedroom grey and white with a Nordic theme. Thank you for the beautiful inspiration and words. Have a peaceful weekend! xx

Sweet Karena! Thank you for coming....I have entered your blog site but your comments section does not appear. I am having technical difficulties on my end - all week on Pinterest, I have not been able to drag photos to my desktop, and I've also had troubles leaving comments. Peace my dear! Anita
Beautiful Anita,Home is most definitely where the Heart is mine is with Speedy and the Hubby,xx Rachel and Speedy
Achingly beautiful. I've had many homes and my share of beautiful homes... I'm in transition again and I'm not sure where the next home will be. I've learned to be happy wherever destiny might lead me. In the meantime, I can dream, imagine, and plan for the next abode. I loved the post.
Bernadette,
Bienvenue! Anita

Each time I get a notification in my email that there is a new post from you, I feel my heart skip and a smile appears on my face as I rush here to see what precious gift you have shared with us, Anita.
This touched my heart so deeply as I have found the man I knew I was destined to love my whole life. Being in love - true, selfless love - brings a whole new meaning to your life and changes you profoundly.
Thanks, dear friend. As always, you bring the impossible. So talented you are!
So rainy and cozy here by you,my dear friend....:)
I LOVE your way to write and let us feel the same!
Absolutely perfect,dearest Anita)))
Yes,these feelings are precisely: the overbridging from Fall to Winter......
Sending to you my inner embrace:)
V.
It is that the heart is there that matters, not the decoration. We break ourselves striving for things and often miss the real treasure.
Lovely pictures and thoughts. Happy autumn.
Hi again Anita,
Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog, about my post and Ziggy!
I'm now following you on Pinterest too! :-)
I did not know that you could not take some images anymore from Pinterest, that is such a shame for us bloggers! :-/
I get so much inspiration from the boards there, I wonder if it's all about copyright that they have stopped people taking certain images?
Just had a look at my boards and I have managed to drag a picture to my desk top from Pinterest. Anita, try again and see if it works now. It might just be a bug on Pinterest.
All the best,
Jo. x
Love is all. Everything else fades into nothingness. Beautiful words to the one you found long ago. xx
WOW!!!!! This is amazing and yet another one of my all time favorites!! With the music, I was swept away to a most beautiful place, and i think some of these are snippets of your beautiful nest? I don't blame him one bit for saying the best part of the day is coming home......this is just amazing!
Such a heart felt post ANITA.... home is our sanctuary and to share it with those that we love is a gift. Beautiful autumn post as we come IN from the outside, and begin to transition into a season of rest and reflection. Hope you have a wonderful weekend! xxL
Lovely as always. Sending hugs...
Lin
Swept away by it all, Anita...the music, the images, the words.
I was reminded of one of my favorite quotes:
"Where we love is home...~Oliver Wendell Holmes
Always a pleasure visiting.

OH!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this!
Your message is so beautiful.
Your dear one's love so divine......
and your own photos of your wondrously decorated cottage
combined with these others you've chosen go together so perfectly!
So LOVELY and inspiring my dear,

Wow!! I LOVE those huge fireplaces! And the photo of the rain with the candle is mesmerizing. I'm finally here. How are things with you? Time to do some catch up! Hope all is well in your world. So glad to find you still here and, as always, creating beauty.
Dear Anita, Love this post and the music sets the feel and style of my thoughts as I read through. I love your photos and the rain against the window is beautiful. When I reached those words you hear from your beloved, "the best part of the day"~~ I could hear my hubby saying this as he does each and everyday he returns home from work. What a blessing isn't it??
Thank you for sharing. I am going back to enjoy again!!
Hugs for a great weekend.
XO
So romantic :) and I am blessed and happy to say.....I have experienced what Your words express through My own husband. In fact, as We have grown old together and made a couple of large down sizes of Our homes, which I thought would never happen,I have come to realize He-Paul is My home.
oh ma chère Anita, ton post décrit à merveille ce que je vis aujourd'hui, de retour dans ma maison de campagne,on s'apprête à faire une petite flambée comme on dit chez nous...s’asseoir et regarder le crépitement du feu...J'adore,comme j'adore également ton ravissant billet très très chaleureux...Merci pour ce beau partage I 'M in my house where my heart and my soul are...Bisous tout plein ma douce amie

That is beautiful and so absolutely true.
Love this beautiful piece on love
and how its somewhat eternal.
Many people find love
but only a few are able to keep its flame burning
yours is inspiring and hopefully forever♥
The images of the rooms are gorgeous.
Bon week-end ! Amitiés
Chère Anita,
Home, sweet home.
Ton dernier message me plaît énormement, si intense, presque mystique...
Anita,
Your photography is stunning. Are these images of your home? If so, it is so serene and welcoming. As always the music you select is so hauntingly beautiful.
Enjoy your weekend with your husband. :-)
xo,
Karen
oh my god.
Anita, you managed it for me to feel cosy and warm. The selection of locations shows me again, we are birds of a feather - and I love your message :))) Hugs from Méa
Oh dear Anita.....this is just simply beautiful.....all the love you show......speechless.....Love to you, Dzintra xo
BISOUS
Ahh! How beautiful and peaceful Anita. I love the photo of your living room the best!
Keri
This is so sweet Anita! And i think, yes, home id, where the heart is! Thinking of you and Ruben and hope you have a delightful weekend! Here, it was so nice and warm out Sat. and Sun. oh WHAT CAN I SAY, that would not take anything away from this beauty of a post, or trivialize it in any way. Anita, you placed another few tears on my cheeks (sincerely) with a full heart, YOUARESOMETHINGELSE. with love, wanda
omgoodness, I just read what Palomasea said "you are a work of art", there it is, with yet another endearing tear. xo
Hi Anita,
Oh, this is such a sweet post! You have a keeper there for sure! And I must say, that your place is beautiful! Love the photos you took. :) How are you? I am doing well, but just never seem to blog as much as I think about it or want to. I MUST though, soon! Have a wonderful week!

Wonderful, again. With a home on wheels, our beauty is more within us, and where we get to park. A cozy fireplace would be nice at times though.
OH MY.........is it an anniversary time?Beautiful images ANITA...........just BEAUTIFUL.........LOVE the music too!XOXO
forgive me, I wasn't able to express what I felt when I wrote ''oh my god''.....I am just awe struck at these words.
This is beautifully romantic, Anita. Gosh, I wish I had a way with words like you do. Just lovely.
You make coming home so welcoming! Sarah x
That IS the best time of day -- and best thing to hear! You hold on to that one! Beautiful photos to illustrate a beautiful sentiment!
As always, Anita, this post is gorgeous. Such beautiful words, images and music…pure perfection…
Big *sigh* when I reached the bottom of this beautiful post... :) Home... it is everything isn't it ... and especially who shares it with us.
Your email came :)... but I had missed "October".... one day I want to spend some time during Fall on your east coast seeing those magnificent colours..
Have a wonderful day,
xv
Anita, not sure if you would get my message if I replied to my post, but yes, Fall in Kansas is pretty glorious this year. And I will not be moving to MN until this summer although I seem to be going up there a lot lately. :)
oh wow Anita what a dreamy post with dreamy photos! As Always! I had to share this with my two sweet daughters as they are making their homes for the ones they love. I know they will love it too...you just have the most amazing vision! Speaking of...I would just love to see your renovation story...I hope you would like to share it with me sometime? I know your talent would be just as remarkable in your home as it is on your blog! Have a lovely day friend.
Dear sweet Anita, always a joy when you visit me in blog land. We need to work on a visit in person and I'm looking forward to our phone chat. Are you wearing coats and scarfs yet? This week Autumn arrived in Philadelphia in a crisp cool morning and evenings refreshing seasonal way. Loved revisiting this wonderful post.
xoxoxoxo
Home...it is a word that says so much. It conveys love, nesting, spiruality and so much more. I love visiting here...I always feel as if I have come home, to a sanctuary of beautiful images and words.
Thank you for sharing your beauty my dear friend,
xox Elizabeth
Hello dear friend! Thank you so much for your visit! I am so happy violet made you smile.
bisous!
Oh you changed your banner! We both have the and sign, "&" from the same font. I have it as my favicon but cuz I wanted something simple yet tied to my blog but not the trite heart or whatever I have had and wasn't happy. So that is cool and you taught me a new word "ineffable". I have wanted to know a word for too scared or too special to utter and know I know it. THANKS, SWEET! I'm glad you love my "Let's Go to the Movies" inspiration post. It was fun creating. Since radiation is almost over I am getting more and more normal and I can shop more but mean while these polyvores have been super fun to built up each time from #1 to #4 with one basic piece in each one. I am really happy lately. Feels so good to be back to blogging as I was prior to surgery and chemooooooickymoooo!
forgot to leave you your ♥, from me! (I was too concentrating on spelling chemo out in a weird and icky way, silly me)
What could be better than.....its always a good feeling to "know" contentment!!! This music, just perfect!!! You enrich our lives with your words dearest Anita. <3 Enjoy the remainder of this October and all it has to offer! ;)
As always beautiful. Reading your posts...poetry brings such refreshment. Hugs, Bonniec
Coming home is so sweet. Our own little sanctuaries where we can be ourselves. Made even sweeter by the homecoming of a loved one. Your words, music, and images as always touch my soul.
Hello beautiful Anita!!!!
What a fabulous post!!!! I love the gorgeous chandeliers with rustic, welcoming, decor!!!!
My husband is much better- wow!!!! What a week we had!!!! He hadn't been that sick in about 17 years!!!!! He caught a really bad flu when we first met and was extremely sick. I haven't seen him that sick since we were married until last week. Luckily the meds helped and lots of rest pushed him to recovery. He still feels tired but is MUCH better!!!!!
It's been cool here but absolutely gorgeous; I love autumn!!!!
We realized a year ago we put our 16 year old terrier mix to sleep after he became very sick. We can hardly believe a year passed so quickly!!!!
Hope you're having a wonderful week!!!!!
Hugs,
Shannon
Happy midweek dearest Anita! Are you feeling better yet? I have a headache today and it's raining … but am working in my home office, with lots of tea and music, and somehow enjoy the day. There are still some pink roses in my garden - send you one! xox
Just gorgeous, Anita. What a beautiful, heart-felt post. We've been having wet rainy weather and it makes me appreciate being at home with my love more than ever. Hope your month continues to be lovely. XOXO
Beautiful Sister!
How are you feeling? I hope you are back to good health again. I'm sorry you had laryngitis! We are doing good. The boys (Rob included) had colds...Rob is feeling much better...Santino still has a runny nose, but it really hasn't stopped any of them much. Lol...We are having RAIN and lots of it today. Could get up to 1 1/2 inches with gusts of wind up to 40 mph. I love the stormy weather though!
I am excited for trick or treating. Maximus didn't want to go last year. We talked about it...but he said he didn't want to go...and said, "maybe when I get a little older." HA! So, I figured, why force it? So this year should be LOTS of fun! Both of them going. :) I tried to talk Rob into dressing up too, but no go on that. Ha! I have to give him credit though, because he "thought" about it. teehee!!!
I remember seeing a photo of you dressed up as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz before. Do you dress up for school ever?
Well, hope you have a good rest of the week. So wish we lived closer so we could visit together and you could see some of the action of these two little rascals in person!
Love to you!
Heidi
Beautiful post. I love the special bond you share w/ the hubs and I love each and every post! xo
Lovely autumn images, kind go describing living inside when it´s risky outside ;)
Cozy! :)))))
Fantastic interior, lost my breath over some of the pictures!!!!
I hope you are doing well, under the circumstances? I remember myself when I was at my worst blogging made me get through the days when I could´t do much else,I hope it´s like that for you too!!!
Take care sweetie!!!
Tovehugs :)
Beautiful as always, your blog give me a peacefull mind, thank you!
groetjes van Marijke
Thank you, dear one, for visiting me! I really do hope you and Ruben can get up to the North Shore...it really is extraordinary.
Be well and stay warm!
LOVE YOU....
The fire and the rain in this post look so real; like it is happening right then and there. Anita - cool. Thanks for the visit and the cheers of no more radiation. I still will have to soothe my injured breast (it is very sunburned) for two more weeks and then I have a follow up in a month and it should be all normal looking by then. It hurts at times but the soothing aloe vera and a cream called "The Girls" is very nice. And as a going away / last day bonus they gave me a pedicure coupon to get a freebie in the Hospital Salon. Oh and I need that right now. I am so happy to have those two major treatments; chemo and radiation behind me and stay farrrrrrrrrrr behind me to buckOs!!! ♥
Such special elements dear Anita. I love the rain against the window pane and I always welcome my hubby's sweet words, hello my love. You continue to write with so much passion and your photos are truly remarkable. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. xo
Oh, Anita! This is a true love story in every sense of the word! I can just imagine you and Ruben enjoying quiet times together by the fireplace ~ talking, dreaming, and laughing together. "There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort." ~ Jane Austen ♡Dawn
Hi Dawn! Thank you for coming to visit! I don't see a blog for you on your Google+, so I'll comment here. You are right; my husband and I enjoy a lot of laughter and dreaming, together, at home.
Enjoy the goodness of your home! Anita
Hello Anita, thank you so much for coming to visit me today.
I hope your week went well, have a wonderful weekend.

A bientôt,

Gorgeous and heartwarming, and that last image with the rain....wow!!! :)
Home certainly is where the heart is, isn't it Anita? What a beautiful story you tell and such a lovely sentiment you share with just a few precious words. Gifted.
Dearest Anita,
I am popping over to say hi, to thank you for your sweet comment and to wish you a good night and a beautiful start of the new week!
Madelief x
Oh Anita! Yes I am hunting down that jacket in my size let me tell ya!!!!!!!!!! Hope you had a pleasant day at work. I have to go back to bed. The sunburn that radiation caused is very painful today especially under my left armpit, near the lymph node site. Urgh, I want to be all better NOW. {spoke like a true blue spoiled brat} LOL ♥
I just remembered I read this beautiful post through my email subscription, but didn't come here to leave a comment! Such a lovely post dear friend and your home...is one I simply treasure. It's incredibly beautiful and your gardens with your rabbits are pure heaven. I imagine you playing your harp with the sunlight on your face and the birds and the bunnies listening with contented hearts. Hugs to you my friend.
My dear heart, thank you for your thoughts and comment about my father-in-law. It's been such a hectic week with everything. He was always good to me, and such an easy going person, especially for having 10 children!
Can you believe it's almost November! I'm seeing lots of Christmas décor out there already.
Here's to a beautiful day, my friend. My husband has been off for a week, and going to get coffee this morning. I'm loving his time off, but he goes back to work tomorrow.
love,
~Sheri
Thank you for this beautiful amazing bit of peace and serenity and hope that we all need so very much in our daily lives. Your posts give me inner calm and I am so grateful for the time and energy and work you put into each and every bit. You are a gem my dear. Creative Serene Bliss...
I have chills, dear Anita. What a romantic, heartfelt glimpse into a most special relationship that you share with your husband. He is a lucky man to capture your heart in this way and I know you feel blessed every day to share life with him. Pure....beauty and love. xx, Heather
Hello dearest Anita!!!!!
Can you believe Halloween is this week???? Autumn has been so pretty this year; the leaves look more vibrant.
It was warm here yesterday but cooled off significantly overnight. I love wearing coats as the seasons change from summer to fall.....
How is school going?

Hi dearest, thank you for visiting my little Halloween post! Have you recovered from your cold yet? I'm feeling a bit tired this week and so many people are telling me they're sick. Take good care of yourself! Yest. was nice and sunny here and hubby and i had a walk through town, which was nice. Am working on including the last data into the magazine, which will go to the printer by next week. Will keep you posted as to when your issue can be expected ;) Hugs for a cozy day!
As I read your beautiful words while listening to lovely sounds and enjoyed being treated to beautiful images, I was in awe of your ability to write as you do. You are an artist with words.
Anita what a treasure you have there for a husband!
That must melt your heart knowing he feels that way.
I can totally understand how he would though...you are the warmest, most loving woman...no wonder he feels so at home with you!
Bless you precious friend!
Loved your images and the ones of your home...beautiful!!!
Hugs!
All my heart,

hi sweet Anita! So you say I am wickedly funny. Nicest compliment ever!!!! Have a great Halloween if I don't see you tomorrow. Today is my fun day going to the Trunk or Treat tonight at my church. All of my little family is coming, too. Yippeeee! Look for pics on my post tomorrow. I am going to be something really scary --- a DOCTOR! hahahahahahahahhaaa. ♥
The photo of your home was so beautiful. I hope you post more. I have been away from blogging with struggles that have passed.
Dearest Anita, I loved this post! I must admit, I often times forget that home isn't home without my loved ones in it. No matter how beautiful we make a room, its only a space without our loved ones there to share it. You and Ruben share a love many only dream about. I am proud to say my Andy and I do as well. We are blessed! Much Love, Christel
I love your posit, just lovely.... Happy Autumn with love Janice
Anita, Now that was so romantic... rain pelting the glass, mysterious music, flickering candles, classy but comfy home and LOVE.
( Wouldn't it be something else to live in one of those ancient homes?!)
Just wanted to wish one of my favorite ladies in blogland a HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I am just staying home tonight and greeting the kids with candy. It's a new housing division with only a few homes built yet, so will probably only get a few trick-or-treaters. Do you get any kids coming around your house at Halloween? Have a fun, spooky, and mysterious night, my friend.
love,
~Sheri

Jo. xx
What a dream to catch up with you in this post my dear friend! This year has been a blurr. But in the past few moments I stopped the train of life so I could come catch up with you! Hopefully soon in person.
Happy Sunday Anita! It's a cold one here; brrr:-)
Anita,
Perhaps one of the most romantic things my husband ever said to me was, "I love seeing your car in the garage when I get home."
