When life becomes art

Winter's nightgown

spreads

across a dormant

April countryside

that refuses to rise.

les dames d'abord

But it's from the inside

where spring

flowers

in

Minnesota.

At the farmhouse of a friend

Clara and I played

with

French antiquities

les dames d'abord

and petal-thin frocks.

les dames d'abord

The more the three of us experimented

les dames d'abord

the more we realized

that our lives are

masterpiece that shape-shifts

the light beams that meet us.

les dames d'abord

Glorious morning

we search outside

of

ourselves

for spring

les dames d'abord

and come back

finding it within.

Iconic October

recycles images of comfort

and

anticipation.

But silhouettes of fear

hover over our

imaginations.

So what if

in spite of

the crow's image

he was really a

song bird

via

a gentle friend

via

 or

simply had

the intense and irresistible desire

 to reveal his true self?

via pinterest

from other peoples' perception of you

is like

slicing through

heaven

where every ray of the spectrum

falls

on glimmering wing tips

hurling

every doubting shadow to

earth

via

under cracking fallen leaves

while you

bat your wings

and

show 'em

who you really are.
