What A Bust

Yesterday, some of you crossed all your digits and wished upon a star

some of you humbly prayed

but ALL of you thought tenderly about me, and I thank you.

J'ai fait une bêtise!....

I was a whole week early in attending my Master's thesis defense! Sometimes, I am just TOO efficient. Call it stress, over-achiever syndrome or just plain nerves, I went to my adviser's office and there was no one there. I waited, then confirmed the date and there you have it. My heart sank.

De tout de mon coeur, I thank you all. Your well wishes are stored up in my heart and I will be that much more ready next week when I really defend my thesis!

A demain!!

Hey, one can never be too cautious. So you got there a little early. I hope you brought something to read while you waited?

That's one of the things I love about you. Even in blunder you're cute.

I have done things like that before myself. One day I even showed up for work on my day off. They were so happy to see me that they wouldn't let me go home. I didn't have a day off at all that week LOL
Put the thesis away and don't even give it a second thought this week. I know you are well prepared. I hope you have a beautiful day ♥ Love, Carol and charli

I suppose the difficult news is that you have to endure the stress for another 6 days, ugh! But the wonderful news is you have the power of "us" behind you to sooth away the stress every time you visit blogland.

Just don't beat yourself up over the error though, it could happen to any of us and simply shows how very much you care about this project; it's a 'heart and soul' project - as in pouring yours in.

So my prayer for you now is to truly enjoy the week ahead and to see all the blessings all around you along the way.

OH Anita
Now you can relax, put your feet up and eat Bon Bons.
Oh and have a little drink too : )
You will be just fine. You are just like my hubby. His brain runs a hundred miles per hour. He had 2 thesis to argue, one in science and one in business. Yup 2 PhD's.
You'll be just fine.
Now get some well deserved rest my friend.
Love Claudie
