What A Bust

Yesterday, some of you crossed all your digits and wished upon a star



some of you humbly prayed



but ALL of you thought tenderly about me, and I thank you.



However...

J'ai fait une bêtise!....

I was a whole week early in attending my Master's thesis defense! Sometimes, I am just TOO efficient. Call it stress, over-achiever syndrome or just plain nerves, I went to my adviser's office and there was no one there. I waited, then confirmed the date and there you have it. My heart sank.

De tout de mon coeur, I thank you all. Your well wishes are stored up in my heart and I will be that much more ready next week when I really defend my thesis!
