The beautiful thing about coming to visit your blog is that I always feel like I've been to Paris. I never feel like the Lady in Spain but I do feel like My Fair Lady and some days even a Lady in Red.

Okay about the email, send the right address my way when you figure it out.

I've a bit overwhelmed myself, between Pippit buying a cottage, Gnomeland is under attack by that wicked WOLF the developer...they lost my letter...oh yeah...it's enough to make you spit in a ditch!

For the first time in two years I'm working 9 hr days but I have a one hr lunch to come home. I've gotten over the top addicted to a facebook game called Ravenwood. I'm building a fairy garden over there, chopping down a forest and going underground to a mine, hunting for pink gems. It's such an escape right now. Walking on 10,000 sq ft of floor space at the store and doing all their displays. I got a small promotion too already, which really floats my boat and helps in set sail.

Anita, dear one, I miss you. How can this be we are so caught in the snare of work and life rolling by like thunder some days? There is so little time for anything else it seems. Makes me sad, but now and then, I can just escape to NOWHERE and life is simple and grand.

Love you and miss you soooooo much!

Funnly enough, the husband and I were in Paris EXACTLY a year ago as a surprise, belated gift for me.
We had such a wonderful time - I truly love Paris.
I used to go in my youth to stay with my Parisien friend Dominique. We used to drink Champagne under the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. We went to parties, kicked leaves, visited the sites. It was utter bliss, and memories of my trips there will never leave me.
Hope you are well beauty

Yay! I am so happy you figured out your email...what a relief it must be to you.
Sigh...I love your new banner...it is so romantic~
I didn't realize how huge a following the 'Occupy Wall Street' extended. It reminds me of the Buffalo Springfield song 'Stop, hey what's that sound?' about...'people carrying signs, mostly saying 'hurray for our signs' very similar times, these days as they were 40 years ago, the people are restless and all they want is to be provided for and most want peace.
We are getting near the end of the times, the world is ready for that super-human one-world ruler who will deceive the nations saying 'Peace, Peace' when there is no peace. I'm glad I know the REAL one who will bring true peace and harmony when HE comes to Reign, all in HIS good time.
Until then, we can only hope to bring others to HIM.
Blessings to you my sweet sister in Christ

You go girl... what fun things you are making by sharing your passions and your talents.

I can't help but think the kids in this new lost generation will have a harder time being brave and taking chances since the ability to bounce back and on to the next thing is so diminished... many can't even get to the first rung!

So many of the best things in life come when you make that leap.

Here's hoping we can look forward and upward again –– striving for the impossible and not start burrowing in against a darkening, narrowing future.

What a beautiful post. I have only been to Paris once and my heart aches to return, hoping to for my 10th wedding anniversary in the spring. I also love Audrey.

I found you over at Enchanted Home and read Tina's wonderful profile/interview on you and thoroughly enjoyed it. You seem to have life figured out and know what you love and follow your dreams.

So happy to now be a follower. Thank you.

Your interview with Tina was "manifique" and your drawings are delightful! As a fellow Paris lover (I grew up in Europe and spent four years there in my twenties), I will always have a place in my heart for the city of lights.

Anita darling I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get over here to you in response to your visits to my blog. Pricing your items for Etsy is difficult. I have a difficult time with it. What I do is I go onto Etsy home page and search for what item I am selling...so you could do a search for illustrations/cards and tags and then see what others are charging. You want to consider the time and effort you put into making your product as well as the expense of supplies, etc. I hope this helps you. Please let me know when you open your shop and I will do a post on my blog to let everyone know! email me at seawashed@hotmail.com if you need anymore help. ox Kerrie

i am sorry i have turned up so late to comment on this gorgeous post (i would love to wear each and every one of those magnificent pastel coats :o) i have had a difficult and rather sad few days, my father has been very unwell (we are not close, but i still have concern for him) and i have been told by our vet that they can do nothing for the health of my sweet darling guinea-pig :( it is so sad. we have him home now to give him love and cuddles for however many days he has left with us and i am grateful for precious chance at least.

Hi Anita!
Loved your interview at The Enchanted Home! She has a charming blog... it was fun to vote on a kitchen!
I'm nursing a cough/chesty thingy... Went to the Dr's today to make sure it wasn't strep {you know...all those kids!} It was negative :o) yea!
About RTI ... Oh if people could only read this, they would get an interesting perspective on what teachers have to read/study and learn about...besides their subject matter. These things, albeit "possibly" good things... take up so much of my time these days, especially as a reading teacher.
I always try to remember the most important reason I wake up every morning and unlock my classroom door at 7:30am. It is to make a difference ~ even if it's only in one life.
Blessings to you, Anita... I know you must be a blessing to those children!

That PINK coat? That's the one Randy said I could order. I LOVE it, but they only carried very small sizes. They are from China, and you know how tiny tiny those girls are? lol.
I knew you had to open a shoppe. That's is such GREAT news Anita.
You will be a HIT, I know it. I hope you will have enough stock to keep up with all of us ; )
I just returned from Asheville late Wed. night. I'm still trying to catch up. So many sympathy cards for maman. It makes me sad all over again. I still cannot believe she is gone from me.
It's been cold, raining and out right miserable here. While in N.C. it was in the hight 80's everyday.
I love you dear Anita.

My sweet Anita.... here catching up with you!.... oh how I've missed your beautiful posts.

Now, those coats are just yummy, aren't they? I had a white similar to the pink one when I was about 18.... LOVED that coat.... however, the white not-so-much. I think the cleaners enjoyed it more than I did.

Loved seeing your perfectly perfect artwork. I love it that I have my very own... :-)

I've go to pop right over and read your interview. How exciting is that? You're a STAR!

Big huggies and lovies....
