Dear friend , I love your idea for the go to France bloggers tour.
I hope it's allright I'll just be a visitor .
I'm not so good in making a whole story with many pictures .....
I'm not some-one in the front ..
I love to be in the back and enjoy watching the other's ......
Put me on the terras with my coffee and some postcards and a pen .....
I will be there reading and looking and enjoying .....know that !
I told Saskia you miss her , she has been busy and is now more a Facebook-fan.
I must admit I stopped Facebook long ago but every-one is talking about it and using it
and so I am back on Facebook trying to find my own way in it .
I'm always one the last ones to join .....
I'm deffinately NOT collecting as many friends as possible .
I even do not like every-one to read my facebook ....
So I selected and have a few ...
What I do love is using beautiful pictures .
Happy weekend and BONNE CHANCE !

Oh, Anita, you've done it again, tears of joy are blinding me for this beautiful post. The music is DIVINE. If you see me here a little too often this weekend, don't worry, I'm not a stalker. ;) I'm blaming it all on you and your beautiful inspiring heart. :)

Just when I thought turquoise and red were it, now I am tormented by turquoise and coral. Good tormenting, that is, the kind that stirs the heart with creativity and dreams.

Thank you, my friend.

Dear Anita,
I've never seen waters as beautiful as these. Ahhhhhh, Greece....my precious heritage. I really want to make it there someday. The picture of the cottage with the purple flowers is amazing. Yes, we are looking forward to landing in Paris with you on the 8th. Nel has something special in mind.

I went shopping today, and you won't believe what I found! A bird house in the shape of a CASTLE! I immediately thought of you and had to buy it. I can't wait to paint it. I was thinking of a pretty color - maybe pink.

Your post today has got me in the mood to travel. There are so many places to see. Have a sweet day, beautiful YOU.

Bonjour ma belle!

Just wanted to drop by and let you know that I am now sharing Marie's blog @ Dolls by Marie Antionette. I posted a new post about the fire that occurred in her kitchen which pulled her away from blogging for quite sometime. I have closed my blog for a while due to some sabotage of it. But God works in mysterious ways... Marie has problems with the technical aspects of blogging due to health issues so she asked me to help her and share her blog. Marie & I hope you will stop by to visit with us.

Your Paris party sounds so wonderful!! Our wedding anniversary is June 8th and someday I will be there to raise a glass of Asti and toast to my darling hubby...

catkin tales said...

hello (again)
i left a comment earlier but completely forgot to explain 'bubble and squeek'. our lovely mutual friend irina reminded me of this.
basically it's a dish that originated from the the left-overs of sunday dinner (greens and potato) being fried up for the following days meal, being a monday and traditionally wash-day meant there was little time to cook. egg and or cheese can be added but usually it is just fried up with onion and is actually rather nice. i tend to oven bake rather than fry mine and usually roast a few tomatoes and/or other veg at the same time to go with it.

i'm off to bed now. the weather decided it wanted a change and has been throwing water at us all day. it made for a very grey day, but it's quite cosy listening to the rain pattering on the windows at night. the perfect accompaniment to a cup of cocoa.
much love from lily and me xx

Oh my goodness, Anita,

Dear Anita, I feel almost embarrassed to whisper this request in your ear but if my post arrives on Saturday instead of Friday, is that so very, very bad? We have another few weeks of school to go and with that comes the neverending list of guitar/choir/ballet/theatre rehearsals, exams, and performances. Friday is pretty damned chocablock. I feel pathetic but I do tend to put my heart and my soul in my posts - as we all do, of course - and I don't want to RUSH things.

Please let me know.

Anita,

How was your last day of school yesterday with the kids? I hope these last two days working go well for you! It has to be a bit bittersweet?

Okay...I better get going. Maximus keeps pushing BUTTons on my KEYBOard and is laughing...AS YOU can see, the caps lock keeps coming off and on.

Have a wonderful day my friend!

How was your last day at work Anita? I was thinking of you and wondering what you must be feeling. All sorts of emotions no doubt. Excitement, being daunted etc etc.
I am sure you will be so great at what you do form the heart - art - that you will never look back, but can rest assured that you put so much into the lives of those you taught.
Can't wait for the Paris link party.
Am nearly ready to go. Will press PUBLISH the minute I wake in the morning.

Anita, you don't need to respond to this. I just wanted to comment because I was browsing through your sidebar and I cannot believe I had not noticed Fifi's art on there. Where is my mind these days? Never mind, I know...Paris. ;) I had not even noticed your darling tail-wagging friends and the gorgeous pictures of your home. So much beauty, my friend. Love it all.
Blessings.

Hi sweet friend...what a busy busy day I had...and have not even visited any of your sweet friends...I will have to save that for tomorrow. I have been gathering treasures and ideas for another magazine feature that is due very soon. So much work but so worth it when all is done.
June 29th is my last day of school...so I have a few weeks left to go..sigh! Sending you extra love and a special thanks for hosting such an amazing PARTY! Oh yes..you can use any image you wish my friend. xoxoxxo

i have pencilled friday 7th - friday 14th december into my diary! i think that will be the week. also everyone that participates will be entered into a draw for a fairy-themed christmas gift!
this has all been inspired by you! my sweet friend.
i am dicovering that lily (perhaps because she is a blonde) is a marylyn monroe or perhaps scarlett johanssen type. she loves the camera! and it loves her. all we need now is a bright day for filming. for her tail to go all the way round she has to be super excited! so i shall have some of her favourite treats on hand.. aga baked doggie biscotti! :)
