Dearest bug,
This is a beautiful post. I love reading it. It stirs my imagination and sets my day on an uplifting note. And one of these days, I know I'm just being silly, I want to be friend to that rabbit, the bear and the owl.

Bonjour Anita. Magique, poetique et et captivant, tout a la fois, et comme toujours... Bravo. I have not left a message for a while, but have been following your blog. I see your comments on Vicki Archer's blog too :-) I hope all is well in your beautiful life... Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Hello ANita,
A wonderful inspiration and beauty for my weekend...thank you!!
Have a happy and rested WE

This morning I took Napoleon for a walk. The sun was shining and, as can be relied upon, the little puggle was excited just to be a part of it all!
We happened upon some flowers in the garden that were blooming in a brilliant profusion of color, in spite of the hoary pull of Winter's trance. At that moment, I understood Napoleon.

Hello Anita:
What a delight for all the senses this post is....if only one could sniff the perfume too!!!
There is so much to thrill the senses in our world but, sadly, we are all too often too preoccupied with our everyday concerns to really appreciate it all. It is a timely reminder for us all to, at least once in a while, stand still and listen to the voices of our senses as they uplift our soul.
Yes dearest, that quote is great! This is what i need to do to heal ... And your sensual post is so full of inspiration Anita, so carefully you put it all together. Enjoy a sweet and cozy sunday! xox

Wonderful Anita!
It's interesting as we often go through life without really FEELING and using all that we have. I believe if we slowed down and listened, and better utilized our senses, we would feel better about ourselves and even make better choices.
Enjoy your weekend!
xx
Aawh...lovely new post. You have so many beautiful artistic finds... I can come back time and again, to see the intricate composition. xoxo, M
Beautiful reminder to use our senses, they offer so much insight to everything around us. Equally beautiful music .. loved the Little Fountain...xo C. (HHL)

Precious Anita...to the owl that hoots out my window most dawns....thank you for yet another reminder of the elegant and fragile messages in life that somehow remain the strongest....love prevails in art
Such a treat to view all the lovely images you put together here...
These photos are all so intense, Anita. Simply amazing. Sometimes I feel as though I can't 'take it all in' at once. You know? I want to savor every moment and to be thankful for every little breath I take, not just go traipsing along with my head down not looking for the glorious in every thing. The is beauty in the minutest detail of a leaf or a puff of cloud in the sky. All miracles from the One who made them. It is all too mind boggling at times...but here we are given the ability to drink it all in with all of our senses.
Like your quote from Emerson says...what matters most is what lies within us in order for us to enjoy what lies outside of us. Thank you for sharing these thoughts and intense photos.
hugs from
Teresa

Hello Anita,
Oh those images are so colorful! Aren't all of the senses amazing? I can't imagine life without them...the sights, sounds, smells, tastes...etc.
I hope you have a lovely week!!!
Heidi
Oh well, you know me. Anything that opens with a rabbit has to be good.
And now you've put a new version of 'All Along the Watchtower' in my head.
It's all your fault, Anita!
All along the Tea Tower.
(To the tune of
All along the Watchtower)
"There must be some way to get out of here,"
said the Rabbit to the Bear.
'There's too much ice and snow
and an owl in my hair.
All those birds, they drink my tea,
ate up my chocolate pear!"
The girl looked puzzled,
and turned to the bear...
"No reason to get excited!"
the bear kindly spoke,
"There are many things to laugh at,
the owl just told a joke.
But you and I are hungry now.
Can't put snow on our plate.
Let us get moving,
or for tea we'll be late!"
(Break for Jimi's guitar solo...)
All around the piano
Ballerinas filled the pot
Mermaids walking to and fro.
The tea was nice and hot.
Outside in the cold distance,
the man and owl did run
They could hear teacups rattling,
didn't want to be late for the fun.
Yeah!
(Big guitar finish. Thank you Jimi.)
I deliberately left this post until I could read it on a relaxed Sunday morning in bed. Inspiring, I am now ready to ace the day. Wonderful, thank you Anita. Always a treasure.

Another magical post Anita. So glad I am able to SEE it, HEAR it, be TOUCHED by it, and enjoy your excellent TASTE in music and art, I can almost SMELL the sweet perfume of kindness and love that is a big part of who you are. MY senses have been stimulated and once again I say THANKS!!!
Another vibrant post Anita and I really like those chocolate covered pears with p-nuts.
So what are your plans for Thanksgiving although I'm sure it involves yourself making a homemade meal for this holiday, and I have just posted a fresh post from Jean today so let me know what you think about that recipe.
I will be posting this Wednesday five Amish style recipes instead of only my usual one so maybe you can pick something from those and make it at some point.
After this week of posts I will be on a "Thanksgiving break" for one week and will return on Nov 26, I will post an announcement on Nov 18 regarding the future of my blog and the changes that will be coming for the new year. Richard
Good morning dear Anita...thank you for your beautiful words re our little Paris...you know I was snuggling up into 'her' new quilt last night and it was so cozy!
I have 'breathed' in Pirates...and breating out now. I have thoroughly enjoyed this show...I have only been in 3 but this was the most beautiful cast...even the Director said it has been one of the best for her...I have learnt to much here...now I want to keep singing! I totally agree with you...all adults should try to get on to the stage...there is so much to learn...

The beauty of words, images and music that you have created here rekindles my senses, imagination and optimism, my dear friend. Each of the senses is a miracle to me. Presence of mind through holding the senses in awareness changes our relationship to the world “out there” and to our inner world as well. It's all makes sense, indeed. Thank you!
I hope your Monday is off to a wonderful start!
My precious friend, this is just stunning in every way...there is the multi-sensory journey...we are on it every day, but how many of us take the time to breathe it all in...

What will your week bring my friend? Hugs as you begin it! xox
Here comes another silly friend just like Mr. Ruben, I loved the moment where I saw the bear and rabbit and owl. I wanted that moment never to end. Breath is all in and keep it in. So it sinks deep into your heart, runs wild in your imagination and keeps your heart beating and your mind alert to the tracks we've left behind and the tracks we need to follow.
How am I? A bit dizzy this morning! No need to fret, Len sent me into the dizzy phase because he took my car keys to work and I have no way to get to work. I've called three people and nobody is awake! Oh me, oh my, what should a girl with a curl do? My curls are a bit twisted this morning. Perhaps I should just play hooky and call it a day! I have a fear of taxi drivers! No kidding! I'm only been in taxi's in Europe, that must have been what planted that deep rooted fear in me.
Len and I just had a wonderful weekend together. We stayed in bed late, didn't clean up the house at all or do any pressing errands. Played with the dogs and watched some t.v. and went to a couple of craft shows. It was easy going and much needed. Rarely do we have two days off in a row anymore.
What will you be doing my dear for Thanksgiving this year? We will be at Kara's. Shaun's first surgery is this Thursday. I'll be going to Seattle with Kara to support her. Thanks for your prayers!
My darling friend
Thank you so much for your wonderful advice
I am going to do that .
You know what I find really really amazing
How you know to listen and read and combine ......
by little bits of information
You really SEE me
Anita You touch my heart and soul .
Thank you Thank you Thank you and God bless you !
oh THANK YOU!!! oh THANK YOU!
Anita, hi! Oh you made my day! I was so worried about my post that I got a lowsy-night's sleep. I'm ok now and I don't have a ton planned for today so I can take a nap later.
YOU ARE SO NICE TO ME! thank you!
In your post I love the long flowing, chiffon, turquoise dress and the red flames of lipstick or paint on the neck and up on that woman with the eccentric makeup. Those two are so mesmerizing! That's the word: Your post's are MESMERIZING!!!
how goes it...
beautiful my
creative queen!

Hello dear one,
I was Christmas shopping all weekend, and wanted to come over and visit first thing this morning. That wise old owl knows how to get out, doesn't he? I just love the rabbit and the bear, and all the colors on here. I am so thankful for the five senses, and try to remember I am blessed with them. The red polka dot boots are soooo cute, and I am always amazed at the beautiful pictures you find for your stories. Breathe it all in. Love it all out. This is my favorite, and such a passionate quote. LOVE always exudes out of your posts each and every time I read them. Have a wonderful week, you deserve it so much.

One of the most beautiful things I 've read...Thanks you Anita
I agree, I AGREE with Roselie!! :))

Oh shame on me, I must be missing much, how fun, the bear, the owl, and rabbit..I should introduce myself I suppose.. but lil miss proscastinator is what I should be called! Lovely, inspiring post Anita, enjoy your week. xoxox Christel
Inspiring, beautiful, captivating, amazing, wonderful ....post. All the things you are, my friend.
I will call soon. Honest.
It's been absolutely insane here, as you know.
This just made my night.
Love you!! xoxox
Lovely as usual, Anita, and the music is perfect. For the first time I cannot seem to sense the words penetrating beyond surface to the hidden crevices of my heart as they typically do, but it might have something to do with being preoccupied with finding something I've lost. ;)
You do know what this means, don't you? I have to come back and read it again...and perhaps again. :)
Thank you, my friend.
XOXO's,
Marcia
Anita! You crack me up! How did your writing session go? Hopefully, you are pleased with it.
I am so happy about the response to my full body post, today. I was so nervous about it I couldn't sleep last night. I had a long winter's nap and I feel on mark again.
Have a fabulous night's rest and go full speed ahead tomorrow - otay?
Thanks for being so upbeat and fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello dear Anita
Beautiful Blog as always!
Have a lovely day today dear.
Love and a big hug
Mapi
Hello lovely Anita. Thank you for visiting the shop, glad you liked the paella. ;)
As soon as I read your comment I rushed over to let you know that your message is NOT vague, my friend. It is my mind and my heart that was wondering off and a bit heavier than usual so although your message is clear, I was not able to apply it in a more personal way as I usually do. Hope that makes a little more sense. It's like I had blockers up. Today; however, I am beginning to see some clarity with all five senses in check instead of out of control. teehee
Have a gorgeous day.
XOXO's,
Marcia
First off for this Tuesday morning...I NEED those rain boots...spotted ones to make my recess duty in the rain a delight!!!

Dearest Anita, thank you for your kind visit! I can see your walkway looking very pretty with these lights in bags! Glad you enjoy your week. I do too, in some ways, but i just slowly recover from the loss of our cat. It may sound pathetic, i know, but i was so connected to this little and very loving being that my heart needs time to heal. Time helps, i know this! Stay warm, ozy and creative - these marvellous pix here bring me joy! xox
I loved this post. The images and colours are fantastic. Really pretty. Well done!

Hello dearest Anita!!!!!
How are you?
LOVE the red coat in the photo and the owl is magnificent!!!! We have an owl that lives in the woods by our house. He is SO cool!!!! We have named him Henry.
My parents are arriving for Thanksgiving next week. Do you have plans or are you traveling for the holiday?
I can't believe how quickly time has passed this year!!!!!
I am so grateful for the amazing friends, like you, that I have had the pleasure of meeting through being a blogger.
I have news!!!! I'm a fashion stylist!!!!! A grade school friend contacted me asking if I'd help her build a new wardrobe and put together a Lookbook of outfits for her. I'm so excited!!!! Then another friend saw my FB post about fashion styling & asked me about it. She lives in Scottsdale, AZ and asked me to do something similar for her. I can do the job long distance because so much is found & bought on line nowadays.
I hope you're having a fabulous week!!!!
We'll have to schedule a special shopping trip one day!!!!
Luv & Hugs,
Shannon :-)
Hello Anita,

Anita! hi!
Carry out your goals, my friend! You are a very accomplished person. I see that in you in your enthusiasm and creativity. Carry on.
The girl in the top banner of this post that is wearing the red coat, reminds me of me in my younger era. Long blond locks and a trim torso. I had a blue coat in those years style nearly the same as the red. My blond hairs would fall onto the coat and drive my Dad to come at me with a lint brush often. Hmmmmm? I feel a poem coming on. thanks,seeya......
Darling Anita, it seems like I have dropped off the planet! We were gone most of October and the earlier months were insane too!
I have missed visiting so many blogs! I just love this. What beautiful images and thoughts you always gather!
I hope all is well and you are enjoying the music of life! We certainly are!!!
Dearest Anita, yes, i understand what you said about pets. My hubby says, he doesn't want one again because this has been and still is so hard. But i must say, we had cats before, and this one was the most lovely and special ever! Do you have a nice day sweet friend? I'm tired, and take it a little more slowly this week! Hugs for a gorgeous evening!
Lieve Anita I am so glad the Mousecalender arrived
The book about SAM and JULIA must be out in the USA too .
I have a favourite writer and discouvered his books are now also in english ....so I ordered one and I am so anxious ( ? ) to see how the words I so love in dutch will be translated
I have taken your advice in my heart and will do what you suggested . I let you know .
Are you okay ?
Hugs and love !
Your imagination makes Me so happy :)
Your words & photos are inspiring...truly!
I feel the calm of the chill over here with beauty like none other. For a moment Anita, I thought that is was your playing that harp, I think you need to you tube yourself palying your beautiful harp so wee can see more of who you are :)
Love the photos of The bear and Rabbit, of course all your photo selections are just so soulful and your words touch each picture with a spirit tell a story of beauty.

I know he's going to love them, they are out of this world. I think I might try making them with spinach and cheese next time too, which would be more like empanadas.
Enjoy your weekend, love.

Hello Anita,
Hope you're having a lovely Friday, Anita! I'm looking forward to the weekend. We are going to Rob's parents' house tomorrow to celebrate Thanksgiving...then next week with my family.
Do you have any plans for the holiday? I imagine you could make a wonderful Turkey dinner. I honestly have NEVER cooked a turkey myself.
Well, I hear little M in his crib. Not sure if he's really awake or he'll go back to sleep...I better run...
Love to you!
Heidi
Anita,
Thank you for your beautiful post, I know that it must take you so much time to create such an elegant thing. Your posts are always so amazing.
I have tried to visit blogs and to do all the things that I usually do, but I am fighting a cold and have lost all my steam.
Your post was medicine for my soul. Now where did I put my cough drops?
Karen
P.S. Isn't it wonderful that Sir Ruben visits your blog and admires your work? You are a very blessed girl.
