Oh Anita....I am afraid that I was not able to listen to the music...it would not let me. And I am sad to say that most of your beautiful photos do not show up as I scroll down your blog post. They appear as large blank squares. I have to click on the blank squares and then they appear on a large screen with the rest of the post's photos down the bottom in a row...don't know why.?? So I have missed out on the full treatment that your amazing posts offer. :-(

Wow dearest, a new post - and sucg a stunning one! That dress with the illuminated sullhouettes underneath is spectacular, as are many other pix here. Yes, the unexpected is what puts a smile on our face. Would love to dance with the fairies too! Thanks cor visiing me - and have a swett day!

Anita! very well! very well ...done!
I loved the salsa beat (unexpected) and the doggies carrying a gift (also unexpected). i loved this entire post, my dear!!! loved the pokka dots in spots, the GORGEOUS chandeliers in others and of course I always love the ballet portions that keep me spellbound.

Q:
If you are expecting something, how then can it be unexpected?

hmmmm, just wondering.

and
...yes, my camera is dead! gone, poof, fried, charred and just sitting here on my desk as lone little waif with no purpose or ambition. Luckily I have all of the current pics out of it. whew on that one. but guess what? no pics from me on my posts til who knows when? i am sad :(

Thank you Anita, coming from you I feel more comfortable with it. I tell you though, I am wishing for the pure snowy white look but NO I am NOT repainting, lol, nope, not me...not for a while! I like the softness of this white, but that pure white is what it turns out I really was after, but not here and not now. lol
I have more work to do then the kitchen is being painted as well, then I can go back to making clothes and gardening which my garden is looking neglected and is painful to me to go out there....though others thinks its lush. You know how it is :D
I hope you are enjoying your writing class and I hope to see pics of your home when you get some things done, ok? I'd love to see it. Yes that Latin music was da bomb! I could see myself, which I did envision lol, being in your house with the ambiance you create on your blog, then wham, the Cuban music and me getting up to dance it away and laughing! love to laugh! hugs, lady

Dearest Anita,
As the Christmas holiday season arrives, my family buys tickets for the most special Christmas classics. (This year, though, we will see " The Wizard of Oz"). In fact, years ago we saw the Cuban National Ballet and Canadian Ballet Youth performing The Nutcracker. Such a joy! It is all about candy canes and sugar plums, my kingdom (I have a sweet tooth). It is all about fairies and princesses, and dancing snowflakes... Thank you for this fun post that elevates the spirit. Thank you for the stunning images and the DANCE!
Enjoy the season and yes, joy is even greater when it comes unexpected!
Stay joyous, my sweet friend!

I LOVE IT ALL! The sugar plum fairy needs to dance in my neighborhood too. This fairy quote is the BEST, and I've seen it before and was going to use it one day, as you know I'll do another fairy post in the future hehe. The pink candy with the powdered sugar put a smile on my face. It reminds me this candy that my dad used to love at Christmas, only it had nuts with powdered sugar. I'm going to have to look around for it soon. The dog photo is so silly and sweet.

I got a package in the mail last week. I loved the kindness tags, and Jess is going to love the red shoe ornament!! I am going to send each of the girls one of your kindness tags, so they will always remember to keep kindness in their hearts. Thank you so much for the goodies, and that extra special box you put in there - I love it! It was such a nice surprise for me. I hope you are enjoying this special season, precious Anita. I am lovin' the music on here today.

my Anita! sweet!

you are so kind and caring. ya see, i love to blog hop and you have to have your own photos when you do that. i have gleaned from pinterest and mostly google images before, but i can't or shouldn't link up on those posts. and i am leaning more toward thrifting finds now and that is a bit more difficult when i'm not in the thrifted articles or the thrifty finds are photographed by me. see? i think tomorrows post may be of an old photo taken by me on a trip to Texas a few years back and then my daughters camera should be operational for friday's post. THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME AND LISTENING TO ME. i'm ok. i was not myself yesterday, tho. too much worry about the camera issue. i have a plan now at least. what a day.

I simply LOVE LOVE LOVE this week's post!!!! I love it when I stare at every frame and dream and wonder and examine the reasons why you used the photo you did and how it ties so well with the others. YOUR POST'S ARE SO UNIQUE. NO ONE CAN BEGIN TO DUPLICATE YOUR ARTISTIC EYE AND THOUGHTS. NO ONE!!!!!

see you soon, (wish so in person) and take care, dear friend.

oh Anita! i know. sooo excited to use it and work it and be a better photo person. i have a tough time admitting to be a 'photographer'. i just feel more like i am lucky. my blog has brought me to photography. i am still learning.

yes, i was and is a member of pinterest for over a year now. in fact pinterest got me thinking about having my own blog. however, i just had myself as the 'board holder' but now i have edited it and made it 'simple sequins' as the name rather than my own. i lovelovelove pinterest. i have to make myself stay off of it because i get too addicted [spend way too much time there] one night i stayed up til 5 am pinning and pinning and pinning. see = bad! but the other night while making that post i realized i could click on each photo and make it bigger prior to coping it. that was new to me. so i had big pics to paste, which was much better than straining to view them. that was great fun.

have a peaceful day! i am a bit overwhelmed today with exhaustion of yesterday and making the purchase [sear charge account][bleh but had to] i was too sad and my HM couldn't stand to see me so sad. but one big reason he did it was i have a income option in the works. more details on that to follow.

tripod: thanks for the suggestions. HM doesn't want me to use the camera until i have a tripod [for times shots anyway]. how tall is yours? they had 50" ones but i am 5'5" and we thought it needs to be at least a 5' high one. no?

create, rest and create further, my helpful friend!!! renae
