Have you ever been in the room with someone who was overcome by the beauty of what they are experiencing? It as if they are transformed and by vicariously viewing it through their eyes you are too?
That is how I feel when you share your world with us, Anita.

Yes, sweet Anita! So much has happened. Baby Z isn't completely out of the proverbial woods yet. If his lungs are clear on Friday, he can go home with Mommy. If not, 48 more hours of nicu. He is gorgeous isn't he? He is a calm baby. His lungs had fluid in them and they whisked him off to nicu and my daughter only got to see him for 30 seconds. 35 hours later she finally got to hold him and nurse him. I have seen him close up a bit and when I took that darling photo. I'm so grateful for amazing medical people; doctors, nurses, assistance that have saved him.

Yes, life is so busy. Yes, life is hard.

This post is lovely. I am not a fan of shabby chic for my own taste but I love the mood of your posts and how you capture the theme of beauty and continue with it. Thank you.

Thank you for your dear friendship. Yes, today I am taking it really slow; slept in and took a long afternoon nap, too. ♥

It's funny that you asked that because someone else wanted to know if I got them at a thrift store. I bet they made replicas of the vintage elves that you remember in childhood. The first time I saw one was on a friend's blog, then I was out one day and came across this little guy and had to buy it. The bigger one I got at Bed Bath and Beyond, and the smaller one was at Hobby Lobby. Wouldn't that be nice to have a vintage one from back in the day?

I guess I'm going to decorate in white and silver with RED too. I've seen lots of turquoise and silver out there lately? Is that what you decorate in every year? I would love to see your Christmas decorations this year. White and Silver would be so lovely.......just like a white Christmas.

Have a relaxing evening, my dear Anita.

Love,
~Sheri

Thank you Anita! Mommy will stay in the hospital as a boarder ($35/day) and then he will get another evaluative xray on Monday. His lungs are not clear but he doesn't cough. If he would cough it would be better but he hasn't ever coughed. He got amniotic fluid in his lung at birth and it is still in his lungs. Life is a miracle isn't it? And medical aid is so great these days. I had a friend in my college years whose first son died of this very thing in 1975. Medicine is amazing! I'm so grateful to all the help he has had in the hospital. Hoping he can go home on Monday, a week old by then. But if not and the hospital is the best place then so be it. I love him!

Have a restful weekend, dear friend. ♥

hi sweet friend! Yes, you are entered for sure. Even the first little comment via your phone was an entry. You are so dang cute. So are you going to do Instagram? It is the best. So much nicer than Facebook. You know how Facebook annoyingly tells you that someone else made a comment on your post or a post of a post. IG doesn't do that. It is just basic and FUN! let me know if you need help setting it up but I am sure you can figure it out (I'm assuming you have a smart phone now, right?) I have a Galaxy S III and I LOVE IT. Oh and Baby Z ...has to stay at home for this whole week. If he gets a wee bit sick - back to the hospital he must go! But he got to come home and prayerfully he will steadily improve and make a super doper recovery in no time at all. I can't put him on my blog yet per mommy's and daddy's rules so if you had IG you could see him on my IG. I can have him on my IG and they have him on their Facebook but my 1dd thinks my blog is tooo out there for yet, I guess. ♥
