We celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary on January 31.
I tell him that I loved him since the day I was born. I understand now that every heartbreak before him was God moving them out of the way so I could move closer to my destiny. Our destiny.
Then, one day, God said "him" and I have never been the same.
Thank you, Anita, for so eloquently representing..in a word...love.

Hey, friend Y.E.S. nude heels are the best and I have been craving some for sooooooo loooooooooong. I nearly bought some at Target but they hurt!! They were pinch-y and I hate pinch-y shoes. Know why? Because they never stop pinching after you buy them. Doh, ya I have bought shoes that were too tight {vanity strikes twice} and have lived to regret it. These Maddens are DIVINE! They are sexy, high and very comfy {doh, they were probably $100 shoes in the first place.}

Hello dearest Anita!!!!
I hope your weekend has been fabulous so far!!!! How was your Valentines Day? We had lots if freezing rain & sleet here on Friday that only worsened as the day progressed so we decided to stay in. Saturday wasn't much better!!!!
Did you go out?
My dad saw his doctor last Wednesday & he wants to get a special 3D X-Ray of my dad to rule out any cancer that may be in his body before they begin treating him. That's the next step. Then they want to determine if the cancer is in just his esophagus lining or is deeper. If it's deeper he will have to have part of his esophagus cut out. We are hoping it was caught in time & is only the esophagus lining. It's definitely scary & there's SO much waiting!!!!! My dad is very peaceful about it and positive which is helping all of us....
Hope your weekend has been a great one!!!!
Sending Love & Hugs,

Hi there doll, if you are enjoying and loving writing today, then you know that's exactly what you should be doing. try grabbing your favorite pen, pencil, art supply, any thing, and just draw a little picture when you are done with your writings, doesn't even have to be about them...give it a whirl...see what happens...even if you think it's crummy, it might get you thinking or zeroing in on something you didn't even know was in your head! ONE GOOD THING LEADS TO ANOTHER...just like your first return message to me. ;))) xo

Anita, I had to come back and admire the grape hyacinths meandering along with pink and white scalloped Tulips along the edge.. My word! How I wish I could create such a garden bed, it's almost unbelievable.

You asked for the clothes pins: I found them in a little shop here in Bavaria, but the name of the pins is PEGZINI FAMILY and if you google this, you find some online shops where you can get it (i hope)! Hello Anita!
I do remember you talking about George. In fact, you emailed me a photo a while back! So cute to have those childhood memories and a brother even if he was pretend. I bet you had fun as a kiddo cause you have such a great imagination and creative mind. Well my friend...I hope you're having a good week. Are you looking forward to spring yet?

Yes, when we receive gifts like that (the hummingbird), it's hard to write about it. Nothing seems good enough, but I just said what was in my heart. I was so happy to hear that surprises like that happen to you too, so the next time a sweet gift comes your way,, be sure to tell me about it. I'd love to hear.

Have a fabulous day Anita - middle of the week already!

Love,
~Sheri

Oh sweet Anita! Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of heart! Your friendship is golden to me and I thrill when I think of you and the many times you have 'been there' for me over these YEARS we have known each other. I will be in such great, smart and capable hands. My cousin said {last night} that the cancer facility that I'll be going to doesn't even seem like a hospital. She said it is more like a grand hotel. Nice. HM and I are going to go there on Monday, just to walk around and get used to the path and place. Thank you Anita! Thank you for your thoughts and your prayers. You are an angel on earth, yup, you are! ♥

Hi Anita,

Oh you do have a good imagination, still! I think that has a lot to do with you being forced to imagine and create as a child. In fact in some ways you're better off that way. Too many toys and distractions can cause boredom. haha...If I organize M's toys in such a way as to not have them all accessible at once, he seems to be more entertained. It's not as overwhelming I think...and then they can see more what they have. We try to find a good balance between too many and the right kind of toys. So many times his favorite things go back to a cardboard box and a string...haha...go figure.

Hope you have a cozy evening!
xoxo

Oh Anita! I have been away from home all day. I met up with my dear ol' gal pal and we had lunch and laughed and talked and laughed and she gave me a 'box of sunshine' loaded with some many wonderful things to bring me sunshine for months to come; everything YELLOW = candy, snacks, sunglasses, scarf, mug, gum, tea, nail polish, nail file, hand sanitizer, head band, bracelet, etc., etc., all to bring me happiness and sunshine. Isn't that just dang wonderful? You my sweet bring me sunshine and joy when you visit my site and shower me with love and friendship. I loved every word of your comment and all the nice words to Iris, too. I wore the ensemble I posted yesterday and felt like a million bucks {in my $34 thrift ensemble. lol} ♥

The soul of a horse makes me stand stronger! What creatures, and genius the way you begin your post. Your posts are poems, and no one does it like you, ANita. You put yourself in everyone.
P.S. Your music puts me back at the barre on a little studio on Madison Avenue.......

We like the same things, as a child I always love the story Rapunzel,
that dog on it's back is soooo cute.. We will break a record Tuesday for the cold..
The snow is beautiful and I love to drive on clean streets on a sunny day and see the snow covered trees.
But, when I can't back out my garage, because the snow can;t get pushed back anymore I panic..

I am still here Anita . I found myself in the last few weeks in an amazing way .
After the second operation all changed for the very best.
Now having two wonderful new strong hips all is bright and light in my life again .
I travelled through the woods and was lost like in the fairy-tales ....... but I found my way out .
I am free now and I can live happy ever after .......

Crazy, comforting, chaotic, charming, ...all those wonderful words make up the beautiful world of love. I finally discovered what true love was when I realized I valued his happiness over my own, his desires over my own, his well being over my own and it was the best feeling in the world.
Thanks for this, Anita, I lose myself here...in the best way possible. xoxo
