YOU USED ALL YOUR PICTURES! That's my girl. And the last two pictures of the flowers made my heart sing. They are gorgeous! I love this picture of you in the Swedish Institute. You are such a doll. Irina did an awesome job with them. Look at the architecture of this place! Jess would love it, as she has always been interested in Interior Design. I love that picture of the SPRUCE shop also. Is that in your town?

I'm so happy for you that you used your pictures for this post today. They are truly great pictures. :~)
Keep taking as many as you can until the school season starts because I know how busy that time can be for you. Isn't it fun? I love all the angles you used with the pictures as well.

Anita,
Beautiful building, beautiful thoughts, beautiful photography, beautiful friend.... Five years retired, I revel in having time to spend as I wish instead of living on a work schedule dictated by the ringing of bells. Yet, as each new school year approaches, I still feel a little nostalgic for the classroom. I remember all the frantic preparations for the new school year and wish you and your students a joyful, productive year filled with teachable moments. Please remember to take a few quiet moments for yourself before the whirlwind of the school year.

I am writing a post about yearning to be a better writer and what I believe will help. I have included a link to you and Castles Crowns and Cottages. Scheduled release date is Aug. 24, 2014. If you would not like to be included, please let me know, and I will remove the link. I think you will not mind, but I ask permission out of respect and admiration.

Cutoffs and boots - couldn't be cuter. Love all the pics and the video. I''ve seen Isabella's art before and that is exactly the way I begin my life-sized pieces of art. Animals usually. Chicken wire and wood then many layers of paper mache. I actually have a life-sized horse in my dining room. It is the only reason I haven't made more. I don't have many more places to put them.

wandamarie.blogspot.com said...

YOU little doll, funny doll, "with a thud", ahem, not so, cutie pie, just like donna baker said, cutoffs and boots, AMEN and giggles! you are such a TREASURE. your thoughts mean so much to me as to what i bring to the table Anita. i was thinking after and during my post...h...m...mm...maybe i'll revamp or throw in the towel here blogging. we have spoken of this before. YOU as well, inspire and teach me each and every time you send words to me. i do dabble in poetry whenever the spirit moves me, so i adored hearing what you offered about your group. i would so love to be a part in this around here, especially with everyone learning and beginning together as a group. how profound and what delights that must come from this.you are one mighty strength to so many for INSPIRATION, WHIMSY, the BEAUTIFUL and BOUNTIFUL "old", such SPECIAL yearnings you stir in my soul, for life and art! there is more...but i am off to get a new crown, and it's not for my head! ah...maybe i'll inquire about this from my dentist, i love him and i'll bet he'll have a quirky come back, he always does. THANK YOU MIGHTILY for the YOU that you bring to us. xoxo

Dearest Anita,

I am giving you a standing ovation! Loved your photo's from the first to the last. So very pretty! I enjoyed the ones of you in the beautiful light ballroom. You can see the joy the two of you must have had in your photo's. I like the contrast between the classic architecture/interior of the building/the room and you in your modern clothes. Both you and Irina both did a good job capturing it all on camera. The photo of the turqoise shop with the turqoise windows and door is so pretty too....and the flowers. Well done dear friend! You are really talented!!!! Hope we will be able to meet one day!

Oh my dear friend Anita,
How lovely you are on such a floor of dance, youthful beauty here that captures such beauty with camera in hand.
When was this taken ...
This is home to you, you belong on such a dance floor dancing about, writing, and creating your next life story in your minds dream.
The video of the formal dress maker I have seen before never forgetting how you created that wedding dress for a bridal window of display. I could so make this, and would so love to create one in the good company of paper artist, I would love Anita to be on your team of ladies who create with paper. I am adding soon another shrine to my etsy and am excited to see the out come.
I hope you make time to explore some more paper art, perhaps in liking of you on that floor of dance.

What about that amazingly gorgeous chandelier....breathtaking I add !

See you soon, at the end of a summers dream.

Oh dear one I am so excited to see your stage take shape, I hope the theatres I have created inspired a dance floor for yours, a fine stage it will be, one of song and dance and perhaps a performance will take place with the feeling of age.
I aged the theatre floor of Vera's with grey's, yet her photos take on a whole different feel to it. My new theatre is taking shape, it will be a bit boxy in shape, but it does have beams in it and a wood aged floor something I do to all my theatres.
I am looking forward to our holiday production and cannot waits to share my new piece. All that went into this theatre is all antique, every scrap of wood and every decorative embellished piece. The trim of the box was part of this piece so my vision for what and how I want the walls to turn out were easy with what Inhad to work with... The cutting of the wood and size was the difficult part.

I wish I could have made it larger but the pieces of wood salvage only allowed such sizing.
I will send photos soon, I wish I could figure out a theatrical sign, but I at this time regret to say there may not be room across the header, or maybe I could attach it to the face of my trim work will see.

My cabinets in the kitchen are coming along, they may stay white through the next few months and then I will do a French treatment to them that ages them with a hint of grey. At this time I am enjoying seeing all the whiteness in them. Not what I would have done if had a choice right off the bat when they are unfinished, the treatment I would have wowed them with! But going from outdated darker oak to white makes this small cottage sing a French cottage tune :)

I will email you soon with photos, thank you for visiting my place.

Your dance photo wows with that beautiful body shape, who would even notice your aches and pains :))

Anita,
Your talents know no boundaries. I think it inspires us all to be more creative. Thank you for that. I do love the ceiling on the ballroom and the exterior of the building you share.
I'm stalled where creativity is concerned and will be taking a break myself. I hope with the season change I can find my creativity.

GOOD MORNING, ANITA. I know what you mean, I rarely participate in these tours also, but Lynne tagged only three people and I was one of them, so I tried to come up with something. She is a grand lady, isn't she? I didn't know you participated in a writing tour every month - that suits you. It's actually supposed to be a little cooler today, and possibly with some sprinkles. That would be nice. Have a wonderful day. And you must be so busy getting ready for the school year!

Hello dearest Anita!!!!!
How are you????
My visit with my parents was great; it's always wonderful to see them. My dad is doing very well and seems to be responding well to treatment.
My mom and I did some shopping together and I got a cool Moo Roo clutch bag with feathers, a satin trench coat with embellishments, a Bergdorf Goodman black top with small square mirrors all over it, and some Prada heels. The autumn boots look amazing and it's impossible to believe September isn't far away!!!!!
Hope you had a great day!!!!!
Love & Hugs,

What a beautiful space for dancing. I would be so inspired even though a dancer I am not. You look so graceful in your photo. Love the boots. I am also back to work on the 25th. Off for a little vacation starting today. Enjoy your last days of vacation!

Anita,
I was looking at your Photography board and saw the starfish picture. I love that one! You know, Jess loves the ocean and collects sea shells. The star fish is so unique looking, isn't it? And are those cupcakes for real? They have glitter all over them! The row of chandeliers in the aqua room are gorgeous - that's a great picture too. And I loved the Tickle the Earth with a hoe, hehehe. You are doing wonderful in your Photography, my friend, and I just wanted to tell you that. You must be so busy getting ready for school. I hope your first week flows smoothly and you have a good start with the school year.

Thank you, dearest, Anita, for the Mid-Summer's Day Dream. May you too have a splendid Mid-Summer!
I must say, you do look so poised for your ballerina pose. Quite rightly!!!
Summer has been so busy. I've hardly posted any comments on others blogs!
I will be thinking of you as you enter another school year, with the wonderful attitudes you will so lovingly have to endure from your students. But, it seems you always have at least one, jewel of a student who appreciates your dedication to schooling the next generation. Maybe some of that student's fairy dust will rub off on others. All I know is, it takes a certain type of very brave individual like yourself to tread the water of the daily experience of public school. In the mean time, have a very, blessed rest of the summer.
love and hugs,
Teresa

hi sweet Anita! Your words were perfection to my ears. I get so tired of people telling me to rest. Dang, I am resting. I just need to get on to my favorite blogs and see and learn and know while I am resting. I have my post ready for tomorrow and that is great. I am going to the Huntsman for a blood test and I am hoping it is not good enough YET! And ...even if it is not good enough, I still want another week off. It feels great to just have normal motion, taste, feel and touch to be just me without any chemo enhancement or de-enhancement as it were, to alter me. I don't drink alcohol. I don't smoke. I don't like to have my feelings altered. And then chemo comes along and says you will obey me and I will make you all better (as she winks and turns her head to the side for me not to see her wink to the other chemo nymphs near by, saying "I can only do so much") and I place my feelings and bowels and tongue into her clutches for days upon days and she laughs and she wears away into nothingness that I soon forget, oh so well. ♥

Anita, dearest, how are you? It's always wonderful to see your name pop up at my place. Glad you enjoyed the moments I captured this Sunday, or the moments that captured me. ;) Mr G took me for a much needed walk on the shore, and I was so relaxed that I took every picture practically blind and carelessly. It's the sea I tell you, sweeps me away, but I was pleased with the simplicity I brought back with me.to share with friends.

ANITA! I was reading your comment today and my husband was in the room at the same time, and it brought a tear to my eye. I told him that this was such a compliment because you were such a brilliant writer yourself, and to say that was truly special to me. I talk about you often with husband and son, and of course, Nel and Jess........ and let me tell you girl, you are known in this family haha, and beloved by me, Nel, and Jess. Yes, our husbands can drive us crazy, and then sometimes they melt our hearts. What a roller coaster, just like the one that I posted! That ride was actually a ride we went on right before we were married. I love those vintage pics that we all have - they are weathered, faded, and so wonderful.

Have a very nice Sunday, and thank you for your kind words on my anniversary. It means so much to me.

I have had the best doctors and care. So super happy about all that. This chemo 6 will fade day by day and I'll be all over the place in blog land, in mid September. At 78 years old , I wish I could take your French class. I took a class before I went to Paris. I tried to speak it with my Texas accent. The French were so lovely to me, maybe because I was alone. I asked a man where was the train station, in french he said you are asking where is the war. We both laughed. I stayed In in a hotel next to the station on Amsterdam, I could walk to Momarte. down Pl Chichy ave. I learned the area pretty good.

I hope your first day of school with your students was terrific! Seems too early to start classes. And with the weather being so hot and humid, it must feel a bit odd, but I'm sure Fall will be right behind the corner. Oh, I love ALL the seasons. hi my sweet! Glad you are back and the computer is behaving. Counting today I have 12 more days of chemo symptoms to bug me. It has been rough at times but not as bad as #3 was. That one was brutal! chemo 6 is more manageable because I know what I am doing finally, ....and then it's the last one! But, I am not complaining, mind you. Just stating a fact. I won't be doing any photo shoots until all of this chemo is out ta here!!! There is a big difference in my face and eyes. I don't want record of those faces, just the healthy ones, thank you. ♥
