Such a beautiful post, Anita, filled with the most special words. And your pictures reflect the lovely light that you talk about. The second one looks a bit mysterious and so pretty. Thank you for being the light that radiates on a dreary day.

love you so,

Your post reminds me of my flowers that are hanging on outside as the Fall weather plays with the cool and the warmth of the season. They open so bright and wide of a daytime and then close when the day starts to darken, but even then they still have their beautiful yellow and golden color shining brightly on their outside as they don't completely go away with the dark. Love the quote, and yes, how awesome to be the light in the darkness.

There is indeed always light at the end of the tunnel, but sometimes we need to pass through the tunnel to appreciate the light beyond. I too am a cup half full person, always looking on the bright side. A great message to start November Anita. Xx

another thoughtful and emotion-tugging post - I'm exactly the same way - I prefer the light to the dark.
I just love your door wreath - so lavish and lush without being glam or glitzy! Beautiful!
... and "Ballroom for Ghosts" is a stunning piece of music to listen to while perusing your usual array of fab photos!
Hope your Hallowe'en was colorful, fun, exuberant, and filled with lots and lots of candy!
Much affection,
Tristan

Oh, Anita, the melodie and the bright side of darkness, how wonderful this is. I LOVE the depth of darknes, could just drown in it to be part of it - and I am not afraid to dance with my demons, as long as they look good ;))
Huggies from me, your friend Méa, as always I say thank you so much for this post :))

Anita I have truly enjoyed all the enchanting home's of MN you have been posting. Many fairy tale like and others artistically appealing with the color combos to highlight its architectural beauty. I have especially enjoyed the white/cream trims on the charcoal/black home's. You dwell in a very beautiful area and Autumn there is breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your area through the lens of your camera.

Hi Anita,
I remember the first time I heard "Ballroom for Ghosts" on your blog. I had to have the sheet music. The music that you choose is so complimentary to your photos and poetry. Such a beautiful trio! I've been playing through "Ballroom..." a lot this fall. It's soothing to my soul. But then so is this beautiful season that doesn't last nearly long enough.

Chère Anita,

Quel beau message, comme d’habitude !

Il y a une étoile brillante dans ton coeur :
que ce soit une lumière pour toi dans les endroits sombres, quand toutes les autres lumières s'éteignent.

https://youtu.be/QxpO_G1aovA

Somewhere there's a blaze
almost imperceptible
but still intense

The story of beauty
singing forever
in the bright light
of the reverberating time

A sacred moment
A magic linger
in which is hiding
the meaning of life

Apart from that
there is nothing
The road to nowhere
The chaos...
