Opening Night Compliments of Harrods and Le Nôtre!

Le Petit Théâtre de Chimères is opening its doors once again this Saturday night for a black glove and gown event! Hor d'oeuvres, desserts and champagne all compliments of the illustrious Harrod's of London and le fameux Le Nôtre of Paris!

Curtain call is at 7:00pm but don't hesitate one minute! Once everyone gets wind of the tantalizing little calorie-free delicacies being served up before the show starts, there will be a stampede, so glide on in Mesdames et Messieurs get your tarts, cheese and champagne, vite!

Once you have been served, feel free to browse in the foyer until the bells rings for the first act of

Goodnight, Sweet Prince

Until then, get some rest, give yourselves a little spa treatment and have a great week!

But....before we go, I would like you to know about a very special give-away. Patricia from Patita Dolls is literally at the potter's wheel at this moment, handcrafting the most amazing miniature pottery, just for a lucky winner of her give-away. I will be saying more about this talented and inspiring artist very soon, but I invite you to visit her and leave a comment. By doing so, you stand the chance of winning a give-away where she will make a special miniature piece. Please see her blog for the details. Click on this image on my sidebar and watch what this woman can do. You just might be lured into a magical world from which you don't want to return...Please visit her Woolytales blog as well. And, she is also a master marionette maker! There is no stopping Patricia! Enjoy, et à samedi!

Ok Anita...the people on your banner look familiar but I can't place them. The man looks like Greg, so perhaps his grandfather. Please jar my memory ~

Ooooh you have revamped your blog quite in style, très chiqe Anita! Mmmm and how did you know that I love strawberry pâtisserie and that stilton yummy TDF! Great that those lovelies are all calorie free up here. I might take two in that case. Next Saturday I will be on a short family visit, but due to time difference I think I will be able to play along. I cannot wait what you come up with this time. A bientôt!

Love the photo of Grandma and Grandpa. I have the very same photo and I just came across my mother's wedding veil. I'd love to find someone who could do something with it as the veil itself is stuck together. The decor is still intact though. I also have her point shoes. I'll take a photo and post it. Look forward to reading your Saturday post.
Love you.
