Dearest Anita,

Another showstopper!

One must always aim high and sometimes, whey you have had the kind of week I've had - ailments, sick toddlers, wiping up, cleaning, cleaning, and cleaning again, it is SO important to remember THANKFULLY there are giddy heights to be reached and stars to seek.

Thank you for that feast for the eyes and the soul.

Dearest Anita,
Like so many of your posts, this one has that quality that always makes me see the world in Edenic tones, inspired, with endless possibilities, embracing all of me, like the calm and peace of being wrapped in my first blanket and being held for the first time in my mother's arms.
Thank you for taking me there.

Hello Anita:
To find someone or something in life who lifts us up, who makes us more than we can dare to hope for, who promotes our strengths and minimises our weaknesses is indeed to find the truest expression of love.

In this infinite galaxy, this ever expanding universe where we humans are but specks of dust, you are so right to post the view that, even so, humans are capable of the most wonderful and powerful acts of kindness and love. A truly inspiring post.

I don't know why, Anita, but I thought of the 'Moody Blues' 'On the Threshold of a Dream' when I read this post. Their music was so deep...'breathe deep the gathering gloom...and we decide which is right' etc. Their music was and still is very magical.
I loved your poetic post.
'We are stardust...we are golden...and we've got to find our way back to the garden.' Of course that one starts out 'I came upon a child of God.' Was that one Joni Mitchel? Or Buffalo Springfield? Maybe Joni sang it at one point too.
This was a very nostalgic post and brought back deep memories for whatever reason. Maybe it was the stars...stardust.
May you have a lovely, magical, stardust week...as lovely as the stardust glitter on your cards!

Such beautiful images and words as always, Anita! Sometimes when I feel overwhelmed all I have to do is step out onto the front lawn and look at the night sky and it just seems to put everything into perspective... the world doesn't revolve around me, my problems are small in the scheme of the universe and there has to be a big guy upstairs to have created so much beauty! xo

ooooooo..........I love this.
Stardust.
Our task to create an explosion of love (so awesome)....I think blogging kind of does that.
I have met...many people from Near and Far , made up of different stardust so to speak
yet bursting with love for each other.
All of us looking up to the "possibilities" .
I think, many times as I look into the night sky, that someone somewhere is looking at the same moon as me...the same stars. What visions of life and love and even lonliness sometimes does it evoke.

I look up at the night sky and can't help but be overwhelmed by the vastness of it all, the eternities awaiting...and of my boy, there...........seeing things from the "other" perspective and knowledge now.

A Magical Whimsy said...

Hello dearest Anita,
Yes, the Garden and the Tree of Life. I have read an ancient myth about the Tree of Life. How one of the half-gods (human and mythological god) tried to save the Tree of Life from the Great Flood. So, the half-god went to the depths of the ocean and brought back the tree to land where a great dragon grabbed the tree from him and ate it up. I know there are some truths in myths. So, now we know where the Tree of Life ended up, mythologically speaking. Quite an allegory as that is kind of what Satan did (taking ageless life from mankind in the Garden) and he is referred to as 'the great dragon' that 'old serpent'. Just some interesting information concerning the ancient Earth when angels and men used to inhabit it. (Genesis 6:1-4) We aren't told a lot but the simple facts are there.
I could go on and on talking about these things as they are so fascinating...but I will resist. If you want more do a search on Bulfinch's Mythology or History, very ancient stuff with lots of mythology entwined.
Have a glorious week in HIM!
hugs,
Teresa

Honey and lemon and tea and lots of vitamin C. Linus Pauling almost swore by Vitamin C to cure just about anything, like 5,000 mg to 10,000 mg a day! It gets toxins out of your body plus drinking lots of water. You probably all ready know all of that. I am quitting my daily allotment of Dr Pepper...I love it isn't that good for my health.

What a lovely post, Anita. Life comes at us from so many directions, doesn't it? We don't always take the time to look up.
Thank you for reminding us.

Anita, so sorry to hear that you are sick! I hope you get better soon. I hope visiting blogs is restful to you too! I like to sit in bed and visit people.

As far as your book goes. I think that if it is just for you and you aren't going to sell it and you have the credits for the picture, I think they don't care. The blog world is a whole different world isn't it? It sounds wonderful and I would sure miss all of your lovely images (even if you don't take them yourself - they are exquisite!)

Do hope that you are feeling better dear friend. Are you having lots of lemon and honey drinks?
Sending lots of healing hugs, and get well wishes

When I did the post this week about Steve Jobs... the thing that stuck was about connectedness. Thinking of anything as not connected to everything else is missing the point, isn't it. We are all connected as are our efforts to create. We build on the stars and our mutual shared consciousness. That is the right way of things. It's not about thinking small but about thinking how it all is connected. We belong to something so much bigger than we are. If we are smart we can feed off that belonging... so destructive to feel separate. You are such a link to that larger purpose... I feel it every week. we are connected!!

Dearest Anita.....this is exquisite! We do all look up at the same endless sky from its greys to deep blues to inky black ..... we all look up at it and wonder in awe at the magnificence of it all. What is most magnificent is the ability to stretch out and find each other and you do that every day with us!
with my best wishes always

I have read some of your comments from blog friends. My, you are blessed and it is true Anita that opening our hearts to the world brings back such beauty in friendship.

This friend of yours is very tired. I know you can relate. I am on a journey that feels a bit like falling down a rabbit hole and I'm still tumbling down. I can't seem to regain my strength but I still know which way is up!

My post today is rare, I'm a bit blue and down in the dumps. Can't seem to keep up with it all. I've lost my happy hat but I'm sure I'll find it again soon.

Love you and thanks for visiting me, I hang on to all the words, all the heart and all the love you pour into both your blog and mine.

My Sweeeeet Anita... I have missed you so!

I love this post, but then again.... I ALWAYS love your posts. Such lovely photos to go with your precious words........and perfect thought... LOOK UP. :-)

I want to live in that beautiful apartment.. The one with the open window.

My girl and I are going to see Breakfast at Tiffany's on Sunday. I'm so looking forward to it. I didn't wear a black dress and pearls, but I did do black slacks and pearls... close enough? This 'ol gal's black dress days are over... BIG broken leg scar. I'll be thinking of you while I'm watching Audrey.
