Happy New Year Precious Friend! Praying your Christmas was lovely! The precious new additions to your Etsy Shoppe are divine! How fun... My mother is with me for about a month...maybe longer. We had a death in the family over Christmas, my father-in-love from my first marriage. He was 90 and loved the Lord with all his heart. My daughter and I made a 1300 mile round trip in 48 hours to attend the funeral. Life moves on...and it's so amazing how quickly it does after losing someone you love so much. His wife is lost, they would have celebrated 60 years later in the week of his death.

Looking forward to 2012 as friends, and hoping we can skype soon!

Love you friend...to the moon & back!

Those birds.....wow
the slipper......enchanting
the theatre.........how do you THINK of these fanciful things?

I must have missed the "talent line" when God was handing them out. I really don't have any to speak of.

But, I love people, my children, my family, my spouse...(you get it) and so maybe I just need to share LOVE and Serivce,

I hear you about missing the comfort and coziness of your home. BUT, I was just thinking the other day that summer vacation will be here in about 4 or 5 months, right? So, you are almost half way through...It will be here before you know it. I definitely do NOT miss that "dreaded" feeling of going back to work after a nice long break. It can be SO hard getting back into the groove.

Hi Anita!
Oh thank you for stopping by my first post of 2012 ~ I am amazed I had the energy last night to begin to play with a photo from last week...
I came home from work yesterday {first day back} and curled up on my cozy sofa and drifted asleep for almost 2 hours! I was soooo tired from Christmas week ~ and then first day back... sleep was so welcomed!

How was your week, Anita? Did it linger long or fly by?
I hope your first day back to school was calm. Sometimes the kids are as tired as we are!
Yesterday morning, at 7:45, I looked at my class and said, "I think this is one of those moments when we dream about being in school. Do you think we'll wake up and discover we're still home?" What a challenge it was just "being there."
Today the energy was much better.

Did I tell you that I shared two of your cards with the 8th grade French teacher. I knew she would just love them and she did!

I wish you a sweet week... filled with warmth and coziness. Enjoy creating your beautiful treasures. It's a blessing that you share your talents ~ sprinkling smiles and joy all around!
*blessings always,
Maria

Hello my dear friend!

I hope that you are staying warm! My goodness it is chilly here on the midwest, although I see from the news it is colder at home.

I am starting to mend, although I cannot shake my cough, and runny nose. Thankfully the headaches are gone.

Thank you for checking in on me, I always love hearing from you. Do tell, how are your new etsy items doing? A new year a new store!

Have a great night! Xoxo Elizabeth

Hello Anita!

Thanks so much for visiting. I always love seeing your comments. Boy, I was a bit sluggish today. I was going to take Mr. M to Costco, but we never made it. Instead we did a little shopping at Target and then went over to my parents' house and visited a bit.

I hope you had a good day. You are on the home stretch! YAY! Tomorrow is Friday and I hope you have a fantastic day. And a very relaxing weekend!

Hi dearest friend!!!!
How has your week been?
My parents visited & it was so nice to see them!!! My mom & I were looking at your blog. She LOVES the pictures you include in your posts as much as I do!!! The baby in the Tiffany blue tulle skirt is absolutely precious!!!
We went to the art museum on Tuesday; it was SO cold and windy!!!! The only thing missing was snow but the air was biting cold!!! We took photos at the museum entrance; the wind was whipping like crazy & my Mom's hair is blowing straight up in the photos!!! Today- its 65 degrees here!!! Can you believe that?!!! No wonder my sinuses have been acting up!!! I'm sure this is only temporary and the real cold winter air will be back SOON!!! Until then- my husband & I plan to take the Jeep Wrangler out for a fun drive!!! :-)
Hope you have a fabulous weekend!!!!
Love & Hugs!!!!!!!! :-)

Little blue paper mache birds in a nest and fairy slippers, Cinderella theatres? It is so very "Anita like"! Charming and soft as a blue feather, I love them. You are having a wonderful time, aren't you? I think everyone needs at least one fairy slipper for good luck. You had better make a lot of them!

Thank you for your sweet visit today Anita and the lovely things you said! I hope school started well for you. I still am tired and not in full swing, but somehow, this January has a positive feel to it that makes me hopeful. Your bluebirds will bring on the good times! It's very warm here too, but grey and rainy - real "bed-weather". Have a cozy time and - take it slow and easy. I think i'll cool someting nice later ... xox

My darling, it's always a dream to come here. It's a place to dream because everything is so full of dream and sweetness, as if we entered a land of fairy tales, which I love very, very much. I love fairy tales, romantic things, castles, crowns, clouds and armor, princesses and crystal clear water sources that mirror dreams. Thank you for letting us dream, dear! Lots of kisses, Rachel :)))

Dearest anita - a funeral - oh my! Always hard to digest. I hope it wasn't someone so dear to you. Of course we need to be reminded sometimes, that live is short, to really cherish it, but still this gives a somber note to your weekend. Feel hugged, dear friend, and make yourself a lovely evening with your husband! xx

Hello sweet Anita!

I am expecting great things for 2012! I am really excited about it actually, and very excited for you too and the direction you are going in with your shop! I LOVE the slipper! How precious! You are so talented and it is always inspiring to see what you have created. I hope 2012 is a very creative year for you and one that you find the time to really follow your dreams!

How is school going? I know some schools are still on break here, so perhaps you haven't started back up either. 2012 has been like a whirlwind so far. I hope it slows down a bit, but I am enjoying it. There are a lot of changes happening...good changes I think. I just can't wait to see what God has in store this year.

I hope you are well! Sending much love your way! xoxo

Happy Friday beautiful Anita!!!
How has your week been?
We had a beautiful snowfall the other night but most of it is gone already.
Our almost 15 year old terrier mix, Riley, had a mild stroke on Monday evening. We rushed him to the ER vet clinic where they ran tests & took X-rays. He was cleared to go home with us that night which made us happy.
He's stable and doing OK. It's so painful to lose a pet- they are a member of the family!!! We had to put our Jack Russell terrier, Ross, to sleep in 2003 after we discovered he had an aggressive form of stomach cancer. It was so difficult and I miss him all the time!!!
I was glad Riley was able to come home with us- I know I definitely wasn't ready to say goodbye!!!
Hope you have a great weekend!!!
Hugs!!!
