Wishing you a wonderful time with your friend!
I understand you perfectly. I was absent for the net too during the period that our cousins came to visit us and it was so, so nice!! :-)
http://presepiocomvistaparaocanal.blogspot.nl/search/label/Cousins

I also didn't see them for a long time (5 years). Every time I go to Portugal, I stay in Lisbon and they live in Algarve (south of the country). Sometimes they were on vacation too elsewhere when we were there or we had bureaucracies to take care about, etc. and it was not possible to meet. But this time, they could come and enjoy some days in the netherlands with us and it was fantastic!

Enjoy this week to the fullest, dearest! Have a nice week! :-))

Hello talented lady and I see you also have some pretty good taste having that Sly and the family Stone at the top of this post. I saw a 1 hour show on unsung about this group which is one of my favorite groups, and my dad told me a short story when in around 1970 (my dads sister) my aunts boyfriend was a chauffeur and had the whole group in the limo. This was New York city and she lived in Yonkers, so he brought the whole group to her apartment for some coffee. And boy was she surprised when she opened up the door and there was Sly Stone and the group, she called my dad and said "I've got Sly and the family Stone in my apartment" and they called out "hello" to my dad! That's my Sly and the family Stone story. Richard

How time seems to fly after we pass twenty-one years old! I have a dear friend in So. Cal. I have not seen for over thirty years. We have known each other since we were four years old. We haven't called each other for several months. I, for one, have been very, very busy with life and family events. She has been on my heart and mind for some time now and she prays for me every day and I pray for her. She asked me if I thought we would ever see each other again before we either pass from this world or the Lord comes! I had no answer for her, but I know some how, some way we just need to make the effort to just do it. I am so very happy you are having this rare treat being with your friend. I can imagine the memories you have shared and the memories you are making. Life is precious.
hugs,

And yes I'm familiar with Magnolia Pearl, just learned about her a few months ago. She is one of my inspirations as she virtually ''gave me permission'' to create what I see in my own minds eye, no matter what others think.
But my other inspirations come from Les Ours d'Uzes and other companies all from the South of France as it happens.....is why I've suddenly developed an interest in those people as I never did before but we share the same tastes in many things ! LOL
Welcome back, and thank you for your kind comments.

boy Anita, I wasn't feeling too fine this morning, but reading your words sure did put a big cheesy smile on this face! How do you do that! My heart spirit lurched and almost left my body when I read that you were doing story book reading on your new deck! how I wished I could have been there! is there any more magical pastime than that? conjuring up the imagination where beautiful ideas are born.....maybe reading around a large fire surrounded by other magical beings who create a magical world?? what AM I doing in this neck of the planet anyway! oy.
Yes, the southern French seem to share my souls desires. And one day, with a special guide I will make a trip there to meet some of them. The garden is my favourite place too and this heat is preventing me from spending some quality time to give it much needed tlc. Thanks you so much for your words of encouragement and support! You're a gem! Of course, this post was beautiful(as always). XX
