Dearest, This is a sweet post. I love that included the sea in reaching deep not just up for the stars. And I love how that girl went into the sea as, well, a girl, and changed into a beluga whale. That was too cute. If I could change in the sea, I'd change into a beluga whale. They look they know how to laugh and have fun.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous, Anita! From the wonderful banner to the magic of the mermaids and swinging from a cloud.... merci mille fois for the delightful start to my day!!
Oh dear friend...these words belong to my daughter who is facing a decision on where to go with her life. She is contemplating a choice on staying here where she "has dinner with he parents 5 nights a week" or doing something more grand while she's young. She has never been afraid and she is indeed a mermaid who does not like shallow living. Beautiful!
Dearest Anita I can clearly see where your heart is today.. What a magical post! I love the magnificent horse and the dear Beluga whale... Oh! That sweet illustration of the elephant!! Bisous! Penny
Beautiful, Anita. I feel as if I've just had a dip in the ocean. Love the music! Hope you and Ruben are enjoying some summer fun. All the best ..........Sarah
I have been absent for a while. What a joy it is to visit you. Your post begs the question: which passion will you be diving into the deep, deep depths for? I have missed you my friend but will leave your corner of the world feeling more inspired still.
Hello sweet friend, My mother always said to me that you have to follow your dreams, and yes I follow my dreams, I know that you do that to!!! Beautiful music and lovely pictures. Hugs, Liliane
Holy and rapturous words for my day! Yes! I love love luv!.....'I must be a mermaid for I have no fear of depths & a great fear of shallow living", how true is that, and I hold myself to it, and cannot accept shallow living from myself or any other...no can do. If you could see all the mermaids in my home....I must have come from the sea, some say I look like one. And that "not all stars belong to the sky".....I will drink that in deeply! love, Lady
Dear Anita, I for one am a bit scared and have deep fear and trepidation for the deep Seas.....although I am called to the Sea often....as a desert rat, I must see and feel the ocean at least once a year....I suppose I have more respect then fear....for I do love it.....I hope I reach Deep inside myself to achieve all I am meant to be!! Great post and as always Great Pictures and music to go along with the wonderful words!! Have a Great week-end hugs and love, jamie
Just a total work of art...again. I actually read this twice, just to digest it. So wonderful...I love the artwork so much as well. I'd love to be a mermaid. I like the bit about how not all stars are destined for the sky. That struck rather poignant with me as life is a little stressful right now, something I hope will resolve itself soon and I can destress!!! Have a wondrous weekend dearest. x x x x x
Those belugas rock my world, they really do. Such magnificent creatures. The harp sings the sounds of the sea. We reach up, we reach down to feel the breadth of our world. If more people did such measures from time to time instead of closing their eyes to the world in anger and thinking so very small, the world would be a better place. Thanks for the visit, lovely Anita!
I'm here as promised Anita and it seems that the beach is very much on your mind, and I wanted to get here while there was still some room to dip my feet in the water. Even though I had lived in Florida for years the heat we are having right now in Pennsylvania and other states is really something else, and no amount of years spent in Florida will ever make me acquire a taste for it! And thank you kind lady for inviting me to your new post. Richard from the Amish community of Lebanon,pa
Dear Anita, Oh, how I loved this post. I have always had a thing for the MERMAID. I even collect them, you know? They are mysterious, fun, and wonderful! I was surprised when I saw the swimming mermaid.
Yes, dear, that was the alley in which I had my first kiss with my husband. Right after spending a few minutes there, I looked over across the way and saw a wedding take place. It was so special to see.
I love these pictures on here, especially the one of the ocean. I think that is the prettiest picture of the sea that I've seen. I hope you are enjoying the summer. It has been hot here too, but not too bad.
I love the mermaid, and I will have to come back to see her again. You always spread a little magic in our lives, and for that, I thank you.
The magic of continuous change. This is beautiful, my friend, as inspiring as ever. Must stop by later or tomorrow morning with more time to take in all the images and words a little slower, but I could not resist clicking on your link when I noticed it at the top of my blogroll. ;)
You've done it again, you precious dreamer.
I need a computer break today. Finished my Snow in July post earlier after working on it all day yesterday and part of today. WHEW! Now off to the final touches on the party favors. Can't wait for the celebration...however, I think the celebration is every day. :)
Such a pretty post. I always love your choice of colors...and notice that you love turquoise. That has been one of my favorite colors now for the last couple of years. I go through stages where I like certain colors for a while and then something fresh comes along...turquoise is SO beautiful. I have a dear friend that is very into the spiritual meaning behind colors...and she was asking me to look up the color blue a while back. (She's our music Pastor's wife)...anyway...it's very interesting to read about...I know that it means truth...and I just read that it symbolizes the sky and heaven. LOVE THAT!
Anyway...I hated to hear that you've come down with something and haven't been feeling well. And then pulling a muscle from all of the coughing! NO FUN AT ALL!!! I hope you have a restful weekend and feel better real soon.
Dear Anita ~ Sweet Anita ~~ So glorious and beautiful, I always look forward to your posts as there is always something about them that truly touch my heart, as if God were speaking to me through your posts.
Oh Anita! That was a lovely excursion of sky and sea. I've a dough head to never realize there are stars below, too. Thank YOU for that perspective. lovely, sheer lovely (hug) and (hug) again!!!!!!!! ps., I read on Heidi's comments, you are ill? - two words: neti pot! Oh my gosh. How glorious! Waves and horses. And I didn't know dolphins blew bubble rings! Thank you for, once again, providing us with a wonderful journey.
Wow wow wow :) I'm not even going to mention the INCREDIBLE images (oh well, I just did)... :) The gorgeous harp piece... I do believe this is one of your deepest (no pun intended) works of art, blessed friend... Stirs the emotions, nourishes the mind and soul. Brava! Ah, but the ocean is a wondrous place, so much to discover in those depths of our being... Thank you for always enriching and expanding this "shimmering surface of living"! Much love, - Irina
Hi Anita, I know what you mean about not opening the package until your quite time, I do the same thing, most of the time my quite time is at late day or night. The book is not in English but I looked at it as if it were a picture book, and indeed it is filled with beautiful pictures.
Thank you for your visit to my place, I love surrounding my life around art and people who create, my friend you are one I surround my lfe around. Anita your harp playing is so angelic, I imagine myself sitting in your studio sitting and listening, just listening. Lots of inspiration to you this weekend. Xoxo Dore
A beautiful, and cooool , watery post, something to refresh on this, hot, humid day. Oh! to ride a white horse on the beach! And to swing out over the sea! To plumb the mysteries of the depths! You've awakened the adventurer in us today, Anita, and i'm off to find some stars! xx dawne
wowza....soooo beautiful. REACH DOWN deep find your star.....that is very cool. I guess it takes a lot of soul searching to see what it is that "drives us" in life. Sometimes you have to scrape away the surface, and see what's really under there. Perhaps your Star!!!!
My dear, like you, i too believe one needs to persist on your own dreams or never will come true.Patience is the key, nothing that truly worth the wait comes too quickly. Love your heading and the saying... also I adore the little girl illustration on the boat... so much there..... and of course, the white horse... gosh, how i love him! and YOU OF COURSE!!!GRIN
Anita!! Is that you playing the Harp? Oh my gosh! It's soooooooooo beautiful, soooooooooo magical and so wonderful with this post! Yes indeed, dreams are meant to be followed with all our hearts. Dreams do come true as long as we keep believing in them. A truly lovely post as always. Again I leave from my visit with a smile on my face and a dance in my heart. xx
So glad that you have followed your dreams and doing what you love to do...your beautiful Artwork and creating. I am sending a cool breeze to you dear friend, thinking of you experiencing the heat wave. Hope that you are having a happy weekend
The beluga whale is adorable! I hope you had a good day. The weather here is finally turning to summer...but we're not having the crazy hot temps like you guys and so many others across the country. That's a little TOO warm for me.
I bet you had fun with those kiddos and all the boys. They are definitely curious little guys, aren't they? So different from girls.
Dearest Anita I believe a free spirit is of more value than much wealth. To smell the fresh sea air, to drink it all in...to be free as those beautiful creatures...the star fish, the horse, and the beluga whale (what darling creatures!) To be free from human inhibitions! That is the key to LIFE! To have Love, Joy, and Happiness, to share with others of like mind those intrinsic values is like opening all of the doors to ultimate peace of mind, heart, and soul. It is what gives us depth of character to pursue our dreams no string attached! Beautiful post! XXOO Teresa
Lieve Anita In my life now it's all about letting go and wait for a while When my house was an empty nest I needed to do nothing .... I love the space in between things I need the space in between things Working hard for my family and my job I made the best of it There was not much space for feeling free the way I lived my life . I had a lot of worries and trying to survive took energy But I learned SO MUCH in that life and so much came to me Now is the time to harvest and make up my mind And all is open .... I just love that ....... And I love our friendship ! Have a happy new week !
Hey Anita, miss you too! Such a sweet and refreshing post with all the gorgeous blue and turquoise waters here! I used to LOVE Anais Nin and read all of her diaries - she was my first "mentor" when it came to putting thoughts, impressions and feelings in words! Oh, am so ready to dive into the mystery! Have a spekndid weekend of summer!

Now I'm hoping that when our summer clothes come out I might find some in that colour! You say the most lovely things...thank you so much...Much Love to you...Dzintra xo
I am finally here! Coming up for air after a whirlwind weekend. At the flea market I was in on Saturday I sold my mermaid 'sparkly treasures' creation and now I wish I'd kept it, as I miss her already! Must show you my 'mermaid cake' ... oh the fun of imagination! And you my dear have stirred mine to the depths and heights!!!

Dear Anita, Inspired beyond! A wonderful reminder that our passions may not ignite by looking into the fiery star lit sky; indeed we may be very surprised at how & where the next leap to happiness and fulfillment arrive.
Morning my friend...just a little hello before we head off to Seattle for the day...it is my Molly's Birthday today so we are going to celebrate in one of her favourite cities....hope you have a cooler day and you find joy in unexpected places today. xoxoxox HUGS
Uplifting and gorgeous, as expected. I think you are nearly always in a wonderful and positive frame of mind, and it causes your readers to contemplate on that which is superb, even in the most natural of places and things.
Oh Anita, I listened to the harp being played, and I was wondering, is that you playing it? It sounds so beautiful. I wanted to also thank you for the birthday wishes for Nel in French? That is the one thing that she has always wanted to learn. She even bought a book and a course to study it, but she is so busy teaching that she has set it aside for now. You know french, you can play the harp, can you play the piano, dear? I just wish that some of your talent would rub off on me hehe. I hope you are enjoying the summer days. ~Sheri at Red Rose Alley
Oh yes dearest Anita...when I turned the fabric over and saw those wiggly lines they intrigued me as well...they looked fantastic and that's why I photograped it all! Thank you for coming over...and YAY for aqua! Have a splendid Wednesday...Dzintra xo
Sweet Anita, Inspirational as always! So beautiful and uplifting... Thank you for these words and lovely images! The weather here is cold... I want some summer days :)
Stopping by my treasured friend's magical realm.... That stunning horse gives me goosebumps, Anita! I hope you had a wonderful day...and I do hope all is well... Sent you an e-mail this morning.... How are you feeling, dearest? MUCH LOVE, - Irina
Oh what a fun time that will be to have your friend from high school come visit you next week. I hope you have a wonderful time.
It sounds like your temps are much more bearable in the 80's compared to what you had to contend with a week or two ago.
We had a fun filled day. Went to swim class and then story time at the library...this afternoon, while Maximus napped, I did some alterations on a top for me and a shirt for Maximus. I have a lot of odds and ends type sewing things that I need to get done...then, hopefully onto other fun projects. :)
SO beautiful Anita! Visiting your blog is always like being in the most wonderful and inspiring daydream. You make my imagination fly to places (and depths) that I would otherwise overlook in this often humdrum life! Thank you! Best wishes, Paula x
Hi sweet Anita, this post is such a fresh breath!!! I had to pin that elephant picture. It is just the cutest!!!!!! And those dolphins are such great creations. Wish I could have my own!!! Hope you have a wonderful July! Have a GREAT day!
I'm a former diver and now a snorkeler. There is such peace and so much heaven under water, Anita. Your photos are lovely. I hope we can get away next month to renew our brains and bodies under water. Hope you are having a lovely July!
I feel relaxed and inspired all at the same time as I read your post! I am so sorry for missing your wonderful blogland event!!! I had every intention of participating and I was looking forward to it and then time got away from me and I was away from blogging longer than I had realized! Please forgive me for missing it:). I hope you are having a blessed summer!!!
Anita, are you having a fub summer day? I had a rather quiet one - i needed it! I felt so tired after all the intense work that isn't over yet. Weather here is cloudy and not very warm - ideal to read and have tea, which is what i'm doing now! Thank you for your friendship! xx
Thank you Anita for sharing your wonderful gift of putting words and images together to create your special kind of magic. Absolutely love your blog. The white horses and the meaning took my breath away.
Anita, I am so glad that I waited until my laptop was repaired to visit your post. For some reason I could not activate the music on my old desktop. The music of course set the stage for your beautiful story, as I knew it would. I don't think any of us ever emerge from your magical depths quite the same. The world is always a bit more special because we have been carried away to some enchanted place we have never been to before. Thanks, Lisa
Dear Anita, you never are far from my reach....so kind and sweet of you, always reaching out to offer words of encouragement......this post as the prior one are beyond lovely and insightful.....I have been absent far too long! Always leaving us with some happiness and beauty....thank you for adding those to my day, N.xoxo
This is so lovely, Anita! I love the quotes you have throughout this post... I'll have to write them down ~ so wonderful to come back to thoughts like this... and keep them close.
How is your summer going? We've been "diving deep" in our closets and dressers to clean, organize and paint all of our upstairs... I'm pretty exhausted now. We started the Monday after school let out...and there's more to do!
It's long overdue. Too many years of "surface" cleaning and organizing I guess!
I am sure you have been "swimming deep" into the heart of your creative spirit. Wishing you a lovely, lovely weekend ~ God bless you, Anita! *Maria
Morning my friend...how can it be Thursday already? How is your painting...I imagine your studio looking stunning. It has been a busy week for me so I have missed my computer time. Plus a silly Summer cold has kept me dragging my feet a bit. Sending you oodles of love today...thinking of you. xo
Hello dearest! So sweet of you to come and wander with me through the twombly rooms! I knew you'd like them. I took a day off today because i strained my shoulder, and it feels just good to have a quiet time! It rains and rains here - i bought flowers to make it nice inside. You said you're getting a visitor you haven't seen in ages? So exiting! Have a great weekend! xox
Thank you dear Anita for popping in....ah yes, that soup has become a favourite of mine! The weather has been quite cool but the last couple of days just glorious. Enjoy your friends and your bloggy break...Here's a big CHEERS to you for the weekend...Love, Dzintra xo
Evening dear one...I feel human again!!!!! Yahoooo...I have been so sick....one BIG sinus headache and flu aches for days...but now I am ready to tackle the summer again. Today I slept for 4 hours during the day...boy that is what I needed...now watch me be awake all night long...hope you are doing well...sending you oooodles of love...what is on your plate for the weekend?...you have company coming soon...what fun. xoxo
And happy weekend to you! Although, doesn't EVERYDAY feel like a weekend in the summer? I bet you are keeping real busy though with all of your wonderful creations. I went and looked at your Etsy shop again the other day. WOW!!! Those dresses that you make are STUNNING! SERIOUSLY! I'm thinking VOGUE, ELLE, MARIE CLAIRE. They need to do a little feature on you. hmmmm.... :)
Thanks for stopping by...I "think" this camera is going to work. I am not expecting perfection, although that would be nice. I will be much happier if I don't have to delete as many photos because the quality is SOOO bad. We'll see.
Have a wonderful weekend...and enjoy having fun with your friend next week.
Dearest Anita..I always seem to call by your beautiful blog on a Saturday...one of my favourite days of the week and made even more enjoyable by your wonderfully inspirational posts...I really think this is one of my most favourite of all Anita..I feel spellbound and so inspired as I drift away to paint my workroom! Hope you have a wonderful, magical weekend full of creativity! Susan x

I do believe that if we want anything so bad that we will do anything to achieve it and if we put our minds into it, we can.
Enjoy the weekend Anita!

Lots of inspiration to you this weekend.

gorgeous post my dear Anita... loved each and every word and photo...
Have a nice weekend, love and hugs, Sylvia
A beautiful, and cooool , watery post, something to refresh on this, hot, humid day. Oh! to ride a white horse on the beach! And to swing out over the sea! To plumb the mysteries of the depths! You've awakened the adventurer in us today, Anita, and i'm off to find some stars!
xx
dawne
wowza....soooo beautiful.
Again I leave from my visit with a smile on my face and a dance in my heart.
xx
Dear Anita,
So glad that you have followed your dreams and doing what you love to do...your beautiful Artwork and creating.
I am sending a cool breeze to you dear friend, thinking of you experiencing the heat wave.
Hope that you are having a happy weekend
Hugs

Hello Dear Anita,
The beluga whale is adorable!
Have a lovely Sunday!
Heidi
Dearest Anita
I believe a free spirit is of more value than much wealth.

In my life now it's all about letting go and wait for a while
When my house was an empty nest I needed to do nothing ....
I love the space in between things
I need the space in between things
Working hard for my family and my job I made the best of it
There was not much space for feeling free the way I lived my life .
I had a lot of worries and trying to survive took energy
But I learned SO MUCH in that life and so much came to me
Now is the time to harvest and make up my mind
And all is open ....
I just love that .......
And I love our friendship !
Have a happy new week !
Hey Anita, miss you too! Such a sweet and refreshing post with all the gorgeous blue and turquoise waters here! Uplifting and gorgeous, as expected.
I think you are nearly always in a wonderful and positive frame of mind, and it causes your readers to contemplate on that which is superb, even in the most natural of places and things.
Oh Anita, I am so happy you like them!! Thank you my dear friend for your encouragement and excitment!! You made my day.
Bisous!

Oh Anita,
I listened to the harp being played, and I was wondering, is that you playing it? It sounds so beautiful. I wanted to also thank you for the birthday wishes for Nel in French? That is the one thing that she has always wanted to learn. She even bought a book and a course to study it, but she is so busy teaching that she has set it aside for now. You know french, you can play the harp, can you play the piano, dear? I just wish that some of your talent would rub off on me hehe. I hope you are enjoying the summer days.

Oh yes dearest Anita...when I turned the fabric over and saw those wiggly lines they intrigued me as well...they looked fantastic and that's why I photograped it all! Thank you for coming over...and YAY for aqua! Have a splendid Wednesday...Dzintra xo

Beautiful - especially the horse images.
So beautiful Anita and so refreshing! I love the ocean and beaches and horses and dolphins and everything in this post! Love, Linda
Hello Anita,
Oh what a fun time that will be to have your friend from high school come visit you next week.
Have a lovely rest of the week!
Heidi
Anita, it is amazing
all of the different
ways that you are
able to weave a
story around your
dreams.....
Beautiful!

SO beautiful Anita! Visiting your blog is always like being in the most wonderful and inspiring daydream. You make my imagination fly to places (and depths) that I would otherwise overlook in this often humdrum life! Thank you!
Best wishes,

Hi sweet Anita, this post is such a fresh breath!!! I had to pin that elephant picture. It is just the cutest!!!!!! And those dolphins are such great creations. Wish I could have my own!!! Hope you have a wonderful July! Have a GREAT day!
summerhugs, Kristin
I'm a former diver and now a snorkeler. There is such peace and so much heaven under water, Anita. Your photos are lovely. I hope we can get away next month to renew our brains and bodies under water.
Hope you are having a lovely July!
Anita,
I feel relaxed and inspired all at the same time as I read your post! I am so sorry for missing your wonderful blogland event!!! I had every intention of participating and I was looking forward to it and then time got away from me and I was away from blogging longer than I had realized! Please forgive me for missing it:). I hope you are having a blessed summer!!!
Blessings,
Kim
Anita, are you having a fub summer day? I had a rather quiet one - i needed it! I felt so tired after all the intense work that isn't over yet. Weather here is cloudy and not very warm - ideal to read and have tea, which is what i'm doing now! Thank you for your friendship! xx
Thank you Anita for sharing your wonderful gift of putting words and images together to create your special kind of magic. Absolutely love your blog. The white horses and the meaning took my breath away.
xoxo,
Carol
Anita, I am so glad that I waited until my laptop was repaired to visit your post. For some reason I could not activate the music on my old desktop. The music of course set the stage for your beautiful story, as I knew it would. I don't think any of us ever emerge from your magical depths quite the same. The world is always a bit more special because we have been carried away to some enchanted place we have never been to before. Thanks, Lisa
Anita! I am home...Had a great day. You are so sweet to PIN my mice. Thank you so much.
BISOUS!

Sending you oodles of love today...thinking of you. xo
Das ist einfach nur wunderschön, traumhaft!
Lieben Gruß

Hi Anita ~ I thought of you when I saw this photo of a "fairy wren"

Wishing you a sweet weekend*
Today I slept for 4 hours during the day...boy that is what I needed...now watch me be awake all night long...hope you are doing well...sending you oooodles of love...what is on your plate for the weekend?...you have company coming soon...what fun. xoxo
Hello Anita,
And happy weekend to you!
Much love,
Heidi
Dearest Anita..I always seem to call by your beautiful blog on a Saturday...one of my favourite days of the week and made even more enjoyable by your wonderfully inspirational posts...I really think this is one of my most favourite of all Anita..I feel spellbound and so inspired as I drift away to paint my workroom!
Hope you have a wonderful, magical weekend full of creativity!
