So inspiring...
I do believe that if we want anything so bad that we will do anything to achieve it and if we put our minds into it, we can.

Enjoy the weekend Anita!

Dearest,
This is a sweet post. I love that included the sea in reaching deep not just up for the stars. And I love how that girl went into the sea as, well, a girl, and changed into a beluga whale. That was too cute. If I could change in the sea, I'd change into a beluga whale. They look they know how to laugh and have fun.

Love

Oh dear friend...these words belong to my daughter who is facing a decision on where to go with her life. She is contemplating a choice on staying here where she "has dinner with he parents 5 nights a week" or doing something more grand while she's young. She has never been afraid and she is indeed a mermaid who does not like shallow living. Beautiful!

Holy and rapturous words for my day! Yes! I love love luv!.....'I must be a mermaid for I have no fear of depths & a great fear of shallow living", how true is that, and I hold myself to it, and cannot accept shallow living from myself or any other...no can do. If you could see all the mermaids in my home....I must have come from the sea, some say I look like one.
And that "not all stars belong to the sky".....I will drink that in deeply! love, Lady

Dear Anita,
I for one am a bit scared and have deep fear and trepidation for the deep Seas.....although I am called to the Sea often....as a desert rat, I must see and feel the ocean at least once a year....I suppose I have more respect then fear....for I do love it.....I hope I reach Deep inside myself to achieve all I am meant to be!!
Great post and as always Great Pictures and music to go along with the wonderful words!!
Have a Great week-end

Just a total work of art...again. I actually read this twice, just to digest it.
So wonderful...I love the artwork so much as well.
I'd love to be a mermaid.
I like the bit about how not all stars are destined for the sky. That struck rather poignant with me as life is a little stressful right now, something I hope will resolve itself soon and I can destress!!!
Have a wondrous weekend dearest.

Those belugas rock my world, they really do. Such magnificent creatures. The harp sings the sounds of the sea. We reach up, we reach down to feel the breadth of our world. If more people did such measures from time to time instead of closing their eyes to the world in anger and thinking so very small, the world would be a better place. Thanks for the visit, lovely Anita!

I'm here as promised Anita and it seems that the beach is very much on your mind, and I wanted to get here while there was still some room to dip my feet in the water. Even though I had lived in Florida for years the heat we are having right now in Pennsylvania and other states is really something else, and no amount of years spent in Florida will ever make me acquire a taste for it! And thank you kind lady for inviting me to your new post. Richard from the Amish community of Lebanon,pa

Dear Anita,
Oh, how I loved this post. I have always had a thing for the MERMAID. I even collect them, you know? They are mysterious, fun, and wonderful! I was surprised when I saw the swimming mermaid.

Yes, dear, that was the alley in which I had my first kiss with my husband. Right after spending a few minutes there, I looked over across the way and saw a wedding take place. It was so special to see.

I love these pictures on here, especially the one of the ocean. I think that is the prettiest picture of the sea that I've seen. I hope you are enjoying the summer. It has been hot here too, but not too bad.

I love the mermaid, and I will have to come back to see her again. You always spread a little magic in our lives, and for that, I thank you.

You've done it again, you precious dreamer.

I need a computer break today. Finished my Snow in July post earlier after working on it all day yesterday and part of today. WHEW! Now off to the final touches on the party favors. Can't wait for the celebration...however, I think the celebration is every day. :)

Enjoy your weekend, love.

Hi Anita,

Such a pretty post. I always love your choice of colors...and notice that you love turquoise. That has been one of my favorite colors now for the last couple of years. I go through stages where I like certain colors for a while and then something fresh comes along...turquoise is SO beautiful. I have a dear friend that is very into the spiritual meaning behind colors...and she was asking me to look up the color blue a while back. (She's our music Pastor's wife)...anyway...it's very interesting to read about...I know that it means truth...and I just read that it symbolizes the sky and heaven. LOVE THAT!

Anyway...I hated to hear that you've come down with something and haven't been feeling well. And then pulling a muscle from all of the coughing! NO FUN AT ALL!!! I hope you have a restful weekend and feel better real soon.

Much love,
Heidi

Hello Dear Anita,

The beluga whale is adorable! I hope you had a good day. The weather here is finally turning to summer...but we're not having the crazy hot temps like you guys and so many others across the country. That's a little TOO warm for me.

I bet you had fun with those kiddos and all the boys. They are definitely curious little guys, aren't they? So different from girls.

Have a lovely Sunday!

Dearest Anita
I believe a free spirit is of more value than much wealth. To smell the fresh sea air, to drink it all in...to be free as those beautiful creatures...the star fish, the horse, and the beluga whale (what darling creatures!) To be free from human inhibitions! That is the key to LIFE! To have Love, Joy, and Happiness, to share with others of like mind those intrinsic values is like opening all of the doors to ultimate peace of mind, heart, and soul. It is what gives us depth of character to pursue our dreams no string attached!
Beautiful post!

Lieve Anita
In my life now it's all about letting go and wait for a while
When my house was an empty nest I needed to do nothing ....
I love the space in between things
I need the space in between things
Working hard for my family and my job I made the best of it
There was not much space for feeling free the way I lived my life .
I had a lot of worries and trying to survive took energy
But I learned SO MUCH in that life and so much came to me
Now is the time to harvest and make up my mind
And all is open ....
I just love that .......
And I love our friendship !
Have a happy new week !

I love the quotes you have throughout this post... I'll have to write them down ~ so wonderful to come back to thoughts like this... and keep them close.

How is your summer going? We've been "diving deep" in our closets and dressers to clean, organize and paint all of our upstairs...
I'm pretty exhausted now. We started the Monday after school let out...and there's more to do!

It's long overdue. Too many years of "surface" cleaning and organizing I guess!

I am sure you have been "swimming deep" into the heart of your creative spirit.

Beautiful post, mon ami! I love the sea photos. We just returned from Charleston, SC... other than Paris, the sea is my favourite place to be.
I hope you had a lovely visit with your friend.
Wishing you a most lovely summer week! xoxo, B
