Beautiful as always Anita.

Change is the constant. It can either be embraced or fought but it will come.

Grace is the daily challenge and I love that you so eloquently (and subtly) nudge us in that direction.

I will pop over to see you lovely works now as well!

Such an elegant post, Anita...and beautiful images, as always. One of my favourite quotes..."I do not understand the mystery of grace - only that it meets us where we are, but does not leave us where it found us."

Lovely post Anita.
This post speaks so much to me,
we need to embrace the changes in our lives and to accept things gracefully in order for us to be in the flow of things and sometimes in order for us to survive. Love your images as always.

Good Morning Anita!

This post IS similar to mine and speaks to me in so many ways. Life really does go on doesn't it? .. and so do transitions. The comparisons you make with your photographs are wonderful.. the horse in the water and the ballerina are my favorites. Flexibility, willingness to go with it, and self confidence are so important throughout life's journey.

The family photos are of my children growing up through the years. The last are of my daughter is will be graduating in this year and becoming an accountant. She is also an NFL cheerleader here at home for the Seattle Seahawks. My son has already graduated and is working in computer science. My husband and I are still paying the bills!

Have a wonderful start to a new week!

I hear you, Anita. Beautifully expressed as usual.

Not sure about running out of space in Picassa, but running out of space in blogger is something I experienced. They never said anything but my pictures started to load completely blurry. The solution for that was using photobucket and loading the pictures with an html code vs. directly. Seems like a lot of work, but I got used to it. I learned that the large images take up space quickly too.

Hope I was able to be of some help. Try to google your question too.

Much love,
Marcia

Oh Anita, I love this. The quote "as long as everything is exactly the way I want it" allows me to see things in a different way. I also like that you see beauty in all people, even the old. That is so rare and special.

The 'OR NOT" picture put a smile on my face. It reminds me of me. She looks like she is being cautious, taking it one step at a time, but in the end the ultimate decision is her own. Maybe it's just plain stubborness. hehe

I have already checked out The Enchanted Home and entered in your sweet giveaway.

Lovely Anita,

I am full of joy to be here with you today! Isn't that 'renewal' picture fabulous with the woman's dress the colour and texture of the foaming sea. Simply stunning as is your blog with its profound messages married to perfection with your exquisite 'illustrations'; you are an artist, Anita. Anita the Artist. How lucky I am to know you even from afar.

I hope life is treating you well and that you are enjoying your beautiful art. I am so passionate about my creations but can only give myself two days and a few very late nights of loving work. My youngest daughter still needs me by her side and that is as it should be. My head is full of dancing themes and ideas though and sometimes it is hard to keep them from tumbling out to fast.

Are you on facebook Anita? I have just started a page there as suggested by some successful creative friends. If you are there I would love to know.

Warmest wishes,

Hi Anita...you certainly hit a chord with me on this. I. DO. NOT. accept change gracefully. I. DO. NOT. change with the seasons ...whether it be the Weather, of Life.
Takes me a looooooong time.
I want to.
I need to.
I try.
So far, haven't found just how to do it well yet. That sign was perfectly me....I'll accept change as long as it's what I want (or whatever it exactly said)
I have been living here for 3 years now, and still trying to adjust.
Still trying to "fit in".
Matt has been gone almost 2 years now, I will never "accept" that, but trying to move closer to moving "past it".

Yeah...I got lots of self-evaluation and work to do on ME.
hugs to you today.

Anita...no one can do this like you. Sooooo beautiful and moving and poignant. I am all about self renewal, we just have to keep plugging ahead and taking the failures with the successes and know they are shaping us to be the person we are meant to be. I really believe that! Transitions are scary as heck.......nothing can make us feel like we are losing our footing like change but like a rickety bridge as we are "crossing" it once we get to the other side we know the hardest part is behind us....and you have a whole new canvas to explore.
I know you are going to achieve all you set out to do once you make that crossing.....you are so talented filled with so much imagination and hope, and have the gift to touch others, to inspire them and allow them to dream.....that is rare and prized. So happy to know you.......and thank you again for the gifts of your beautiful art and creations...they are loved by all!!!
Really enjoyed your post, have a beautiful day Anita!

What we all need now is love sweet love and grace sweet grace. When I think of grace, I think of how I learned to forgive, my story. We all have one and God only knows, the meaning of that precious grace he pours out on us. Grace heals, grace forgives, grace makes room for more and more grace. I adopt that word today, as it is meant for so many who so desperately need it.

I loved your thoughts on flexibility...I must ponder them, and take them to heart.

I have really branched out this week, went out on the tip of the limb and purchased the best phone and tablet that I could find...Etsy, is on the horizon!

We are content over here in our little corner of the world. Len is excited to attend our local comic book show on Saturday and I am going along too like a good sport should! We must always support each other, in our quest to follow our superhero's.

How is dear Ruben? Is he getting any chance to play???

Thank you Anita for helping picking some of those recipes for my own blog this coming Wednesday, to be honest I was kind of stumped what to come up with this week.

I found one of the recipes that are among your favorite's along with another that is very close, so I decided to post both so I hope you like my choices and since these have an Amish style twist maybe you might see enough of a difference to make one or both of these yourself!

Also I posted Jeans post 30 mins ago a little early instead of Monday again so I hope your able to stop by because its a good post, plus I have a great recipe for making your own White Castle hamburgers.

Do you remember those as I'm sure that you do, I never could go inside one of their restaurants and order just one, maybe 10.

But after you ate all 10 you would be very sorry as your stomach would be giving you a food beat-down, but then later when you hungered for more White Castle you would do the same thing all over again! Richard

What would you do if you weren't afraid? has touch me to my core and has produced unexpected tears from me this morning. Every blog of yours I've seen has resonated with me and I am compelled to share it with everyone I love.
This is who I am www.lorafabio.com and I am a huge fan of your artistry. Thank you for sharing it with this frustrated artist's soul. Yes I'm a professional singer and teacher of singing but there is so much more inside of me that needs to be expressed for which there are not enough hours in the day. Thank you for reaching into my heart and helping me to see myself in a way I had not considered before.
I was sad that I couldn't hear the music that was meant to accompany this post. It always adds such a magical charm.
