Anita, you must call your little mice creations "inspired by The Nutcracker Ballet. So perfect for you, and then there will be so many more characters too. I'm ordering 2 or the pieces for my little 2 & 4 year old grandchildren to hang on the tree and keep FOREVER. Just beautiful!

The new ornaments are so fun and filled with whimsy, as are the wands, and your papered mannequin
is exquisite my dear.

A joy to behold!!!

I love hearing how your mother was creative. Can you believe mine wasn't? It was my father who passed on the creative genes to me. My mother was trained as a nurse, and those skills are quite important.... something I could never do!!!

Being loved, that is the best gift of all.

Thanks for sharing your love
in so many wondrous ways!

I can imagine a whole tree with your ornaments... it would be magical. You should get a magazine spread for your work (every seen Sweet Paul?) so that others can discover your work.

This time of year draws many of us back into our nests to rearrange our twigs and branches. I have been fussing with my big book-case, rearranging the decorations snuggled in the books... bit of things collected, photos and odd bits... just like any good magpie would!

Snuggle into your fall time and create your wonders, lovely ANita~

Anita,
This is a beautiful post with many elements that touch my heart. One is Kenny Rankin's haunting song, "The Eye of the Eagle." Though he passed away some years ago, he's still one of my all time favorite singer-song writers. That amazing Easter Redbud tree reminds me so much of our countless walks together in New England, and reminds me that this world can be truly magical. And of course your wonderful words about however much around us, however much we do, there's no place like home.

Good day Ms. Anita, darling! hahaha. You make me happy. (big smile on MY face). Hey I just had a smashing idea!!! (see a new email - k?)

Hey, did you read my newest poem? It is in my Page on top (under my banner) "poems Collection" - It is titled "Through Hoops". Mary (sister) laughed and laughed through it. I thought it was nice but not hilarious. I'd like your opinion of course. Thank You !!!!!!!!!!

Oh Anita I have bursitis which is the swelling and strained knee muscle...I didn't do anything in particular....just rehearsing and warm ups! The physio is working with me to hopefully be right for the performance but I have done 2 rehearsals as a policeman with 1 crutch and some of the cast quite liked that ha ha!!! Apart from that it is rest, rest, rest...thank goodness my dear Hubby has a very understanding boss and he can work from home and care for both me and JoJo! Wishing you a very creative weekend...let's have some bubbles...Cheers...Dzintra xo

I meant to ask you...how is your Husband dealing with his knee and did he do anything specific to bring it on?

Oh my, so pretty. You are very creative and whimsical with your craft.
ha ha...the best I do is a barb wire wreathh (that I found in the field) and a few $ store leaves.
sheeeesh.

The walls of our own homes should indeed be our refuge and the place we want to be. I would hope home provides that kind of peace for everyone.

I'd like a bite of that melty cheese sandwich. That lock down in Washington was unusual it bet, even for the area. Wildlife does not have rules for bear crossing places.

Hi Anita,
Its me George and about time, Moms just not playing ball something about being all blogged out and lacking motivation, we've told her to get her act together and help us with the blogg!! I don't think its working.
We have a little of you in our home, no wait a mintue, I've just had a count up. Two of your drawing on the wall the stamp that I use on all my correspondence, heck that's a big word for me! and of course Mr Blue.
We are using Fuzz Book more but this week even that's taken a back seat.
Love to Ruben and Balzac, I saw him spooked, me and Tess have been done to, what a scream:)
Have a good week

Anita now I can finally say that its starting to feel like Fall over my way in the Lancaster Pennsylvania area with pumpkins and other dead giveaways bring home the point that its really Fall, even though the warmer temps we had been receiving were trying to make us believe it was Spring.

But now our temps are starting to feel more Fall like with the changing and burning of the leaves in the air, and don’t forget my posting of that split pea soup with tomato this Wednesday! Richard

Anita, I have come back to visit your beautiful home, the room with the French doors, I have a question it looks like you have a trolly track over a doorway where an old barn door would hang, its most likely not yet is most likely a curtain next to the white side table, I love the way that room feels.

I have been adding some washed paints in my home getting ready for the holidays so its all done now rather than later.

Anita when you see this piece I know I can trust that you my French friend will tell me what it lacks, I am still working a bit on it.

I have been creating these French farmhouse milking stools as well, and soon will sell on etsy as well as my shop space.

Come visit the whites that fool the eyes of seeing a hint of grey!
xoxo

I am leaving here with a piece of your yellow cake :)
