Fearless

Sometimes

the animal doesn't always

know its own force

and bolts dangerously

out of control

via

until it comes under

the submission

of the master.

via

As a result of this union

the animal

 becomes more powerful

via

when there's someone

in command

who knows what they're doing

via

but more importantly

who knows

who they are.

via

Harnessing our

bigger-than-life ambitions

via

is like

because clear communication

with ourselves

and making a stand against

what we fear others may think

via

will help the animal within

~ trust~

via

who you

believe yourself to be.

via

Then you will know

what it is

you need to do;

and what was

once lost and lame

  will be healed

to run within you

and beside you -

not restless and in solitude

but

fearless and together.

ANITA! Wow.. this is an amazing piece and one of my favorites. Animals sense fear and weakness in humans and each other. The example of the powerful horse is a good one!! There was a time when I was riding and lost control and the horse took off (my arms were sore for days from trying to hold on!). As far the animal within, we must have a clear understanding of our fears and challenges before we can proceed!! Harnessing and working WITH not against what we fear allows us to be at peace. Beautifully written ANITA! xxleslie

Dearest Anita, wow, this is a magical post - so full of promise and - poetry! And you found just the right images to go with your words - into imagination! Thank you for coming to see my paintings today, so sweet of you! Today we have a clash of humidity in the air, that makes every movement more strenuous and i feel more lazy than i want to feel ... Send me some of your freshness! But i don't want to complain about summer, as long as it's here. Hope you have a relaxing and fun weekend with al the things you like best! xox

Your words are like poetry to me, Anita. I loved this post so much, everything about it. The white horse is such a beautiful creature, and it is so fascinating, isn't it? The message of fear is such a heartwarming one, as we all have our fears and doubts, but the wild side in me never lets the fear last for too long hehe. But as we get older, our wild side disminishes a little, so this is a note to stay strong, keep moving. Through your words I feel you are such a child of God.

The pictures went so well with your words, and that little girl beside the horse, oh my, that touched my heart. The music is so peaceful too.

This is such a unique post today, and I will be back to see it again this weekend.

Love you, dear.

I have to agree with Sarah - just noting that you have finally posted (no pressure to post more frequently) makes me smile.

What I love about your magical posts is that they stay with me long after I take the literal meaning. I let them roll around in my brain and they find other thoughts to latch onto.

And I love that what I take away from your posts is "mine" - different from what each other reader takes.

Have a wonderful weekend.

This post touched such deep emotion in me. The music, again, is what really touches me deeply, from that point on, I am lost in very deep thoughts. I need posts like this to stir up the chaos within that needs to be tamed when life becomes chaotic...if that makes sense? It is not that humans are stubborn, nor is the horse, it is their innate in-born nature that makes them so, which is what needs to be tamed. Then freedom will be experienced, when we thought we were free to begin with. Freedom from self, or self pity so we can be used by the Master.
Thank you, dear friend...

I agree with Carol from Art and Sand. What we take away is OURS. And I always take away inspiration and strength. In college I remember interpreting poems incorrectly, and thinking it was so odd that someone was telling me ,y interpretation was wrong. It is indeed ours to own and carry with us. Thanks for the lovely, deep thoughts.

That was marvelous. I love the taming of the wild, making it more powerful than before when one with more wisdom is in charge. GREAT!
Anita, I keep forgetting that not all of the Gazette readers are farmfolk! Here is the farm scoop: Miss Peggy was sitting on these eggs in an effort to hatch them, unbeknownst to her, they were not fertilized and could never hatch. But she sat and sat, in the hot barn, with her warm body heating up the eggs even more, until KABOOM! the hot boiling eggs exploded underneath her. I am sure it freaked her out totally, and she will never try it again!
