Somehow Anita, I already knew all that abut you. Wonderful interview.

I loved it! But I think you have the dates wrong. Taught yourself French at 34, 17 years to get degrees, 14 years as teacher...That's too many! Plus, the photos show a lithe, young woman whom I suppose is yourself. So what gives? If it can be bottled, please send me some.

I enjoyed with great pleasure reading the interview about you. I feel like I have had the privilege of seeing the bud of a rose, open and blossom. You have bloomed so beautifully my friend. And the fragrance which comes from your exquisite life is intoxicating.
I do have a memory that ran through my mind as I read this article. It's of two young women sniggering over lost tips in a pot of soup. When the rubber band emerged from the pot, I still laughed all these years later.
I shall love you forever~
In the mighty name I rejoice over your life.

HAHAHAHHAHA THAT RUBBER BAND! Oh Susan, remember Boston, and how we walked all over town until 8:00pm and came back to our apartment where you made Mexican squash with cheese? So many great memories that I still carry with me in good times, in hard times....you are there.

Everything about you, is amazing.

Your accomplishments, your views, yourself... Amazing.

Please, may I be you, when I grow up? (Gigggles, since you net-know me, you know how silly that wish is. But it is still a lovely, though naive wish.)

Many, many gentle hugs...

Dear Anita,

Thank you for your always sweet words on my blog! I just read the interview on Vicki's website. I enjoyed reading more about you. You are an incredibly creative person. I admire the way you 'go' for something that you want. The article is lovely! You chose some beautiful photo's to accompany your words.

Anita, I have got a question for you. I hope you can help me out.Could you please tell me what the size of the photo's is you publish on your blog. I try to publish mine in that size as well, but somehow I never get it right. I would be very grateful!.

Wishing you a lovely day!

Dearest Anita,

Thank you for your quick reply! so sorry to hear you are having problems with you photo size as well. I think you are right and I need a webmaster. I have decided to have a look at Etsy to see if I can find a new template for my blog and a creative man or woman who can help me install it.

Thank you so much again sweet friend!

(Hi Anita, I tried a couple times to send a comment on your interview page, but it's not taking it for some reason. So, I thought I'd just forward you the comment).

Anita is one of the most extraordinary women I know, but genuine and humble at the same time. And that's what makes me love her even more. When she writes, she puts everything she has into it, and I can't tell you how many times I've left with a smile on my face all day long after reading her words. She is a very special lady, and I'm so thankful to have her as a friend. Her photography exudes what a beautiful person she is as well. It's nice that you had this interview with her, and she deserves all the goodness that comes her way. In my opinion, she is already a European Queen wearing a crown - a crown of noble, kindness, intelligence, beauty, and love.

Hi Anita...l just read your interview with Vicky and loved how you answered all her questions, and even shed a tear when you talked about not wanting to be like your mother when you were young, but then as you matured you realised it wasn't really about what she DID but who she WAS ...that really hit home for me.
You look so beautiful and alive in your photos, and it's wonderful to know a little more about your life which sounds very busy and interesting. l love that you and your hubby sit and read and write poetry together and sometimes play the harp...living the dream l'd say:-) Can't sign off without mentioning how stunning the opening photo of your post is...it's divine.

to pick up my new eye glasses yesterday, $500.00 I am still in shock. I was thinking 250 at the most.

Anita,
Yes, those rabbits are funny little animals, aren't they? I see them once in awhile at the trail, and you can barely notice them because they will hide in the field that is similar to the color of their hair. How wonderful that you got to see your friend from high school, and she stayed with you! And I bet you were so surprised when your childhood friend found you through instagram. Old friends are special. Oh Anita, it reminds me that I ran into an old friend from high school yesterday and she said she was going blind from her diabetes. It saddened me so. She was a cheerleader the year after me and so vivacious.....and she still has a positive attitude, bless her heart. There's just something about the friends that we grew up with that bring us back to our childhood, when young girls giggled at sleep overs and spent carefree days together in simpler times. :)

Have a wonderful rest of the week, my dear.

love, ~Sheri

Loved your interview and the things you shared at Vicy Archer. I so agree in everything you say about ageing. I too feel young and i want to do so many things. And i believe i can. Some wonderful artist, EBatrice Woods, who lived to the age of 104 said: Aööow yourself to live in the timeless" She was most succesful between 80 and 100 - isn't that wonderful?

Anita, the kitchen must have smelled wonderful when your mom was cooking. So, your mom put cinnamon in raisin oatmeal cookies? My father-in-law used to make the best oatmeal cookies. I've always wanted to try Mexican chocolate. Is it different than regular chocolate? All the tastes and smells of Autumn surely bring back memories for me, Anita. So glad to hear they do for you too. Your mother sounds like a wonderful cook. I love hearing stories about her. I really miss my mom, but especially during Autumn and school time. She was a great mom who made us school clothes, costumes, oatmeal for breakfast. Your mom sounds very much the same.

Have a peaceful Sunday, dear.
