I read the interview, friend nita !!! ... smiles ... good 4 U ... Love, cat.
Somehow Anita, I already knew all that abut you. Wonderful interview.
I loved it! But I think you have the dates wrong. Taught yourself French at 34, 17 years to get degrees, 14 years as teacher...That's too many! Plus, the photos show a lithe, young woman whom I suppose is yourself. So what gives? If it can be bottled, please send me some.
I enjoyed with great pleasure reading the interview about you. I feel like I have had the privilege of seeing the bud of a rose, open and blossom. You have bloomed so beautifully my friend. And the fragrance which comes from your exquisite life is intoxicating.
I do have a memory that ran through my mind as I read this article. It's of two young women sniggering over lost tips in a pot of soup. When the rubber band emerged from the pot, I still laughed all these years later.
I shall love you forever~
In the mighty name I rejoice over your life.
Great interview, I really loved it! And I love that chair in your photo! :)
Great interview, I really loved it! And I love that chair in your photo! :)
HAHAHAHHAHA THAT RUBBER BAND! Oh Susan, remember Boston, and how we walked all over town until 8:00pm and came back to our apartment where you made Mexican squash with cheese? So many great memories that I still carry with me in good times, in hard times....you are there.
This was a treat, even better than chocolate layer cake topped with whipped cream.....!!!!
I truly enjoyed your interview on Vicki's site and all of your photographs were stunning!
Congratulations on being featured oh lovely one!!!

PERFECT !!!
You are a perfectly perfect example of people we really need to know more about !!!
Love love love YOU.
Your new header is beautiful.
xx's
Oh my, I would love to pop over there!!!!!
:-))))
Everything about you, is amazing.
Your accomplishments, your views, yourself... Amazing.
Please, may I be you, when I grow up? (Gigggles, since you net-know me, you know how silly that wish is. But it is still a lovely, though naive wish.)
Many, many gentle hugs...
Beautiful interview
Your attitude on life is amazing.
Dear Anita,
Thank you for your always sweet words on my blog! I just read the interview on Vicki's website. I enjoyed reading more about you. You are an incredibly creative person. I admire the way you 'go' for something that you want. The article is lovely! You chose some beautiful photo's to accompany your words.
Anita, I have got a question for you. I hope you can help me out.Could you please tell me what the size of the photo's is you publish on your blog. I try to publish mine in that size as well, but somehow I never get it right. I would be very grateful!.
Wishing you a lovely day!

Dearest Anita,
Thank you for your quick reply! so sorry to hear you are having problems with you photo size as well. I think you are right and I need a webmaster. I have decided to have a look at Etsy to see if I can find a new template for my blog and a creative man or woman who can help me install it.
Thank you so much again sweet friend!
Love,
Madelief x

Anita, I'm on my way over there now. Can you believe I just opened my e-mails this morning? It's been such a hectic and wonderful weekend. Just settling down a bit after the wedding festivities. But I'm here and I'm so glad for you that you've been featured and have been asked a few questions about yourself. What an honor that is! Love this pic of the chandelier with the aqua glasses in the background. That's sooooo pretty.
On my way there now. :)

(Hi Anita, I tried a couple times to send a comment on your interview page, but it's not taking it for some reason. So, I thought I'd just forward you the comment).
Anita is one of the most extraordinary women I know, but genuine and humble at the same time. And that's what makes me love her even more. When she writes, she puts everything she has into it, and I can't tell you how many times I've left with a smile on my face all day long after reading her words. She is a very special lady, and I'm so thankful to have her as a friend. Her photography exudes what a beautiful person she is as well. It's nice that you had this interview with her, and she deserves all the goodness that comes her way. In my opinion, she is already a European Queen wearing a crown - a crown of noble, kindness, intelligence, beauty, and love.

Hi Anita...l just read your interview with Vicky and loved how you answered all her questions, and even shed a tear when you talked about not wanting to be like your mother when you were young, but then as you matured you realised it wasn't really about what she DID but who she WAS ...that really hit home for me.
You look so beautiful and alive in your photos, and it's wonderful to know a little more about your life which sounds very busy and interesting. l love that you and your hubby sit and read and write poetry together and sometimes play the harp...living the dream l'd say:-) Can't sign off without mentioning how stunning the opening photo of your post is...it's divine.
Anita, Hooray! I am able to comment. Just read your interview with Vicki Archer. So inspiring! Another birthday recently passed and I consider the things still left for me to accomplish. It is encouraging to me to read about women who continue to grow into themselves as they move through life. Thanks for sharing about yourself and thanks for the encouragement that you bring into others' lives.
Such a lovely interview, Anita. I feel that she captured your enthusiasm for life perfectly. I love the way your true, unique self shines through this conversation and illuminates your beautiful soul! Love you, beautiful lady! xoxo
Loved your interview Anita, left a comment on Vicki's blog and I read your Repy.

Good Evening Dearest One,
It was ever so lovely to learn so much more about you! You are an absolute talented and delightful woman. Such an achievement to learn French at 34 and then teach it. Each post you create, each comment you leave is always done with such thought, kindness and creativity.
You know that I loved your thoughts and story behind your life and character. Beautifully done my friend.
Sending you much love this evening.

I am so thrilled for you, dear Anita! I can imagine no one better to have a featured interview on French Essence than you. I learn more about YOU every time I read your blog or interviews. You are such an inspiration of artistry, talent, beauty and an uplifting outlook, Anita. You are also one of the kindest, most supportive bloggers around. You are beloved! Loved the interview!

You deserve so much credit dear Anita. Self taught at 34 is amazing! The French language is so romantic and beautiful. Being a dancer does keep you in shape. You are a beautiful woman with many talents. You keep learning and growing along the way. You have mastered photography and it shows in so many lovely photos. I am truly happy for you and it was my pleasure to read your interview.

Hello again, lovely. Absolutely LOVED your feature on Vicki Archer's page. As I commented there ... most beautiful feature about a most beautiful friend. Well Anita, I see my last comments didn't go?? Vicki is a fabulous person, and we all know
How talented you are. Did I ever tell you my Dad wanted me to play the Harp?
Of course I didn't want too. Would have, Should Have, Could Have. Yvonne
Dear Anita, I’m so sorry I didn’t get a notification of this new post and somehow lost touch with you on Instagram, hence the lateness of my comments. I enjoyed the interview very much. It is always good to learn more about friends. Hugs
What a beautiful profile and interview. You are a woman of much sensibility and it shows in your words and your images. And I love that I found a new blog too! :) Have a wonderful day.

... just found you on our friend's D blog ... say Hello to Peter for me, will you? Love, cat.
My sweetest Anita, I am in awe of your interview with Vicki. I just finished reading it and I want to go back and read it again. You are an exquisite woman, my friend. The more I get to know you the more I see you are a rare and beautiful gem. You are kind, gentle, smart, beautiful {inside and out} and ever so wise. Truly, you are extraordinary.
Thinking of you! Sending love and hugs your way!
OH Anita, Thanks for the beautiful comment. Too bad you still don't live in Mass. You could spend the weekend here ,I'd make you a Lobster dinner. That Vicky Archer has been blogging a long time. I can't
even remember when I started. Renee got me into it. She was so happy with her brother here. I went
to pick up my new eye glasses yesterday, $500.00 I am still in shock. I was thinking 250 at the most.
This Gouging the people has got to stop. I just saw something on TV that made be steam, Children's
life or death drugs. It's a form of extortion. yvonne
I'm heading over right now, Anita. I'd want to sit on that chair too, fabulous fabulous fabulous.

Off to check as I'm very interested by your answers!
Anita, looking forward to that -- as soon as I can take a break, I'll grab a cup of tea and head over there!

Anita,
Yes, those rabbits are funny little animals, aren't they? I see them once in awhile at the trail, and you can barely notice them because they will hide in the field that is similar to the color of their hair. How wonderful that you got to see your friend from high school, and she stayed with you! And I bet you were so surprised when your childhood friend found you through instagram. Old friends are special. Oh Anita, it reminds me that I ran into an old friend from high school yesterday and she said she was going blind from her diabetes. It saddened me so. She was a cheerleader the year after me and so vivacious.....and she still has a positive attitude, bless her heart. There's just something about the friends that we grew up with that bring us back to our childhood, when young girls giggled at sleep overs and spent carefree days together in simpler times. :)
Have a wonderful rest of the week, my dear.
love, ~Sheri
Just wanted to thank you for your sweet comment Anita and wish you a happy weekend ahead!

Dearest Anita,

Kelley
Happy weekend, dearest Anita! Congrats to the feature - i'll hop over to read it now! Hope you have a blissful saturday, soon more! xox Martina
Loved your interview and the things you shared at Vicy Archer. I so agree in everything you say about ageing. I too feel young and i want to do so many things. And i believe i can. Some wonderful artist, EBatrice Woods, who lived to the age of 104 said: Aööow yourself to live in the timeless" She was most succesful between 80 and 100 - isn't that wonderful?
Anita, the kitchen must have smelled wonderful when your mom was cooking. So, your mom put cinnamon in raisin oatmeal cookies? My father-in-law used to make the best oatmeal cookies. I've always wanted to try Mexican chocolate. Is it different than regular chocolate? All the tastes and smells of Autumn surely bring back memories for me, Anita. So glad to hear they do for you too. Your mother sounds like a wonderful cook. I love hearing stories about her. I really miss my mom, but especially during Autumn and school time. She was a great mom who made us school clothes, costumes, oatmeal for breakfast. Your mom sounds very much the same.
Have a peaceful Sunday, dear.
~Sheri
Okay, I will!
O . . . M . . . Goodness . . . Anita.
I am completely speechless.
Only thought provoked . . . Isn't that why we are here?
You are a precious gift my friend.
I leave you with my visual of you running from mid to high to mid again in high heels . . . knowing that my mind will unwrap more throughout this day!
Brava, Vicki. . . l'un avec le sens de la mode impeccable!

Anita, that photo of the rose is wonderful, Golly! is there anything you don't do great?
You are tooooo talented. yvonne I love you
Dearest Anita,
Thank you so much for coming over to say good morning to little Lily!
Have a great weekend dear friend
BISOUS!
That was a really nice interview Anita. When you spoke of your clothing style, I thought, yep, that sounds just like Anita, pearls and jeans and a crisp white shirt. It got me to thinking what my clothing style could be, and I haven't a clue... I will have to think about it.
Anita, I'm doing ok, and getting ready for my favorite season of all. I bet Autumn is beautiful in your area. Can't wait to see pictures of all the oranges and golds and reds in the leaves around your neck of the woods.
Wishing you wonderful September days, Anita.
love, ~Sheri

Thank you so much for your beautiful words. Yes, that is my hope, that the puppets will be cherished and handed down again. Did you see the video on my sidebar of the Royal Ballet dancing to Beatrix Potter?
Wishing you a relaxing evening dearest.
