Beautiful images and wise words.
Oh, my dearest Anita, thank you soooooo much for all your magical inspiration..........there´s always something new in your wonder world and I enjoy every moment that that I ´m here. Your spirit fills the air with love and beauty - you really made my sunday! Have a wonderful day, my dear friend,
with love and hugs, Jade
Anitaaaaaa.........did you write this for me??......the word for me these past weeks has been exactly that...."fragile".....like a breeze could shatter me into pieces. I adore you, I don't know how you do it, but you find the most amazing images, and your own poetry is the balm to my ears and soul. No mundane sounds from the mouths of mediocrity are acceptable anymore.....but the beauty of soul as you express brings me back to LIFE and the LIVING.......'''seasoned women'' ''the light years above''......and women and children playing on the stars and moons living their dreams and capturing them ! sighhhh
and by the way, my ''rendition'' of the Moss, Rose and Candle Chandelier is not done, in fact, I do feel inspired to make it today. I will post again on it when I am done. I feel a bit giggly now with joy at going out to get some roses for this....I will delight in its floral light later on tonight.....lol ....I'm playing with words now :D
"Born again to Pay Attention."
I love this...and it is so true.....and there is so very much to pay attention to, is there not!
A never ending story...which does have an ending...finding the time to finish it all has become my great challenge!
Happy Sunday Wishes my creative friend!
Once again dearest Anita you take my breath away and have my heart singing .
Look at that gorgeous blue bird of happiness , isn't he just gorgeous.
Beautiful music from Pride and Prejudice ~ piano play always lifts my spirits .
Stay warm dear heart , Spring weather can't be far off foe either of us now.
I do hope you are having a most lovely weekend .
Ever so fondly,
Willow
Isn't it amazing how normal things can become extraordinary if we can somehow just begin to see it? Maybe the astonishment of youth's newness with everything gets lost and forgotten as we move into the tyrannical bustle of the world, and only found again as seasoned eyes rush toward their final astonishment. Perhaps it is only then, when time, like our tired eyes, contract to a sliver. Ah, what a brilliant horizon.
Thanks, love, for inspiring my day.
Ruben
Anita,
Very beautiful heartfelt message. So many beautiful gifts right within our sight, if only we quiet our mind and see it's wonder. We all need to love the life we live and live it to it's fullest.
XOXO,
Vera
Beautiful images and a beautiful message as well. If we would all just awake each day to realize that even what we have already seen can be seen differently and in a different like, we would all continue to be astonished by the beauty around us. While that bud is still there from yesterday, today it just might be a bit more open.
I just woke up and needed a lift this morning. You are the biggest joy in my blog world. A smile on my face, a lifted spirit, thank you.
Have a wonderful day, sweet and precious Anita. xo Rhonda
Oh so Beautiful is My Auntie Anita inside and out that she can reach out and touch when you most need it!love you Auntie Anita,xx Speedy

What a thought provoking and beautiful post. Love the photo of the two little girls sharing secrets. We are all little girls at heart.
I am seeing things with new eyes today.
The beauty of being born again, and seeing what is all around us newly created again and again.
You create a vision of beauty for all to read into what they see.
Anita, I love your eyes that see, your heart that listens, your mind that creates.
Inspire us dear friend, inspire us;
And we will listen and see.

So lovely and as usual you make me smile! I love owls and the images were wonderful, I am feeling quite like a new half of my life is beginning at 48 and this just drove that home.. to be aware of whats around. Thank you!

Beatuiful images and message, dear friend! And what better season to pay attention and see each day with renewed wonder than spring? And, dare I add, what better time to live life to the full after receiving an all clear diagnostic such as mine this week? Allelujah for dear friends such as yourself and a beautiful sunlit sunday.
Bisous,
Stephanie
Oh Anita, there's so much to see outside and tell about. The white blossom tree is gorgeous and they are all around here right now. Oh my goodness, I love the picture of the owl and the girl. What a glorious picture. And the horse running through the field - how free that would make me feel. There's nothing new under the sun, but you always find something new in everything you see and do.
I wanted to tell you that I loved your comment today about my Barbie (ssshhhh, it was a favorite). I loved hearing the story of how your mom made you so many outfits and accessories too, and how the memories will always remind you of her. I know what you mean, though, cause there are things that I've given away, and l look back now and say to myself, "why did I give that away?"
I loved your post today, and especially those little girls at the end. I am going to send them to Jess and Nel. Have a nice Sunday, my beautiful friend.
love,
~Sheri
Anita:)
Your words and pictures inspire me so!!!

Attention is - apart from the ability to love - maybe the most precious thing we have, because what we pay attention to truly shapes our life! Love the way you put it and all the sweet images! More tomorrow - have caight a virus this weekend - soooooo tired! Till soon!
So Beautiful and MESMERIZING … I went into a zone. A good one. ;)
Thank you and have a beautiful Sunday!!
So good to return and find this beautiful post waiting for me. I have always been believer of living with my eyes open looking for all that is astonishing. Enjoy your week. Hugs! Bonnie
Yes, it happened, but I am okay with it.
Blog is all cleaned up and old stuff deleted.
Besides, there are lots of days ahead to blog, right!
Happy Twilight Wishes!
PS love the window in this post...want one for myself!
Hello on Sunday dear Anita!
You have such a wonderful eye - and ear, for what goes beautifully together! Those windows are amazing, as is the trim surrounding them inside; the owl was marvelous with the little girl and unfolding his wings, the house with the pale peach roses climbing its walls stirs my heart in the tenderest of ways, the blue bird, the two young girls confiding in one another - all is new again thanks to your magic in reminding us that with perspective, everything is extraordinary:)
*hugs and smiles*
My dear friend,
How true... Pay attention.. Everyday brings such beauty and wonder, just like what you have created here with your beautiful words. This time of year with new life emerging we all need to pay attention.. Glorious sights and sounds.
The images are breathtaking. I just adore the wee blue bird, and ~when a fragile spirit listens to wisdom~
Thank you dearest, for the inspiration.

Good evening sweet Anita,
I am back for another visit to this wonderfully inspiring post. Do you know, oh how could you... I have a vintage naked tiny baby doll in our medicine cabinet I've named Rose. It is there for a reminder each morning to be feel reborn again to approach life as if it's the first time we are seeing all the great wonders and beauty there is.
The photos you weave in with your words are powerful. I appreciate you and your blogging style and your friendship in every heartfelt expression that is me. You are a powerhouse of poetic wisdom and understanding.

Dear Anita-- at this time of year it is extra-important to see what is "new" but so easily missed during the last drab days of winter. Thank you for seeing it & telling about it!
Xo-- Keri
This one made me weep, Anita...not with sorrow, but with joy! As I adored the music and the visions of rapture now bursting on my sight. The ethereal pictures and motion photos were like walking into a fairy tale.
I loved every moment of it and I am going to view it again and again, dear beautiful friend!
This was more than a fairy tale dream, this was blissfully enchanting! Knowing that you know the 'feeling' one gets while delving into the deeper glories.
I totally love this!
And wish I could put every photo and thought of what you have posted, along with a button to play the music, on a huge collage' and hang it in my craft studio.
XOXO

I'm glad you enjoyed the farmer's market tour. So much fun taking my blogging friends along.
And thank you for your lovely comment. Believe it or not, although I am paying attention, most days I feel as if I missed something, and I know I have so much more to learn. The treasures are endless, aren't they, my friend? I'm thankful that you share many with us.

Nope.
Y for Yearling was a tag I did
when I was working with a tag group.
Thought it was fun for March.
Birds are singing!
Anita... between the music - the images - and the words, I feel like I went on a mini vacation. Your blog always brings me peace. Have a wonderful week!
Hauntingly beautiful, Anita.
Comme les troudadours d'autrefois, je chante de la grâce des nobles dames.
Votre blog est comme un miroir de cette grâce...
In a secret valley
Of a restless mind
They saw a noble woman
Sweet and kind
Rare gifts she scattered
As trough their dreamworld
She passed apace
Divine smile, when she met
And clothing this veiled place
With loveliest reflection
Of her face...

Oh Anita! Have you seen the news? The right lump was BENIGN!!! Yes, that means only a lumpectomy on the left. The benign area just needs to be monitored with MRIs every 6 months. I am so happy, thrilled and releaved that I switched to The Huntsman!!!!
see my "Pink Update" for more info. YAY!!!! Your sweet prayers on my behalf are so appreciated!!!!! xxx O xxx
Hello dearest Anita!!!!
How are you?
This post is just amazing; I adore the images if moons and stars. That moving shooting star is perfection!!!!!
How was your weekend? We had a beautiful day Saturday & then on Sunday bad weather blew in with yet another cold front. There were flurries but no snow.
How are things by you?
Have you bought any goodies lately?
My dad had his first ablation treatment and will have another in June. His throat has been understandably sore and he's healing. We hope and pray he continues to improve.
I hope everything is going great with you!!!!
Love & Hugs,
Shannon
Such a gorgeous post. I am in love with those cascading roses by the window. I want some of those....Such beauty and the owl is the best. We are having a lovely spring.....We could use some more rain. Have a great week. xo
Oh beautiful! I was surprised to see a new post from you so soon. I love this time of year. Today as I was driving the boys in the car I kept telling Maximus to look at the pretty trees - the budding cherry blossoms and magnolias coming alive! And to look at the flowers - the bright yellow daffodils. He of course loves nature as you know. I can't wait to get some flowers and have him help me put some in my planters. Thanks for this pretty post. Happy Spring to you!
Yes! We must be astonished every single day... Thank you for the beautiful reminder, Anita... xv
A combination of life and a computer that is running ridiculously slow has kept me behind in my blog reading.
Some people would look at the ocean like we do each day and think "it looks the same every day", but it is new every single day and there is so much beauty in the changing colors of the water, the rise or fall of the tide, the size of the waves. The ocean is one God's creations that never ceases to astonish me.
Magnifique post, j'ai adoré!
Bonne semaine à toi- Cath
Un gros bisou matinal chère Anita ...
Très belle journée
Marie-Ange
Quel joli poème, Troebadoer! C'est vous qui l'avez écrit? MERCI d'être venue, et c'est dommage que vous n'ayez pas de blog, car je voudrais vous suivre! Merci mille fois, Anita
Bonjour Anita! Lovely as always. You bring beauty into an ordinary day and cause me to pause and reinspect my surroundings. What a lovely talent you have! I would love to frame that horse image in a huge frame as it leads me down a familiar path to who-knows-what-the-day-brings! Have a lovely day friend! xo Nancy
Anita Dear One,This is My second visit to this post.First one there was a weird sort of glitch and I wasn't allowed to read it,so I waited a couple of days and all is fine.I will always come back to read, enjoy and just take in all you want to share with Us.We have been thinking once again in the same direction. So often when I visit You I find Our hearts are filled with similar thoughts.A giant difference is in how God Himself has blessed You with expressing those thoughts in such a glorious way.
Oh Anita, you tell a story in a way that sends my heart soaring and brings tears to my eyes with the beauty of it all! I have collected owls and robins since I was a young girl so these were especially gorgeous. That little blue bird makes me laugh out loud with it's outraged lil expression. Thank you once again for making my day so sweet, my friend. xoxo
Hi Anita,
Sorry about that video. I was messing with some settings on YouTube late last night. I went and fixed it now on my blog so the embedding message doesn't come up. I bet you do hear LOTS of laughter throughout the day...some probably a bit mischievous too??
I still need to get that magazine...just haven't had a chance to go run and get a copy...but I plan to!!! I am hoping you get spring soon...but maybe it will be a little longer since you live in snow country. :)
Have a beautiful day my friend!!!
Heidi
Bonjour dear friend,
I would love to take you to the ocean.. Merci for wandering over to visit... I am so happy you enjoyed... I know I can do much better, but as I mentioned, this is my first.. I think I can improve with time.

Pure beauty and inspiration Anita dear. Just as with your images, I am so moved. I'm off to share this most beautiful reminder of how we should be living life.

Wisdom, the best reward of our years on this planet, one hopes.

The owl is amazing! I have a special place in my heart for owls after rescuing one many years ago. A great post on how to live life!
Dear Anita, Beautiful, thought provoking words. I find that as time passes, we gain not only wisdom, but a true and new found love of life. It is after all, the little things in life that are truly, the BIG things. We need only to pay attention, and listen. Peace and Light my friend, With Love, Christel
The photos in the post are fabulous, Anita! Happy Spring and Warm weather wishes to you!!! Thanks for the blog love regarding my ensemble. I promise once things are settled down after my surgery, I will go back and model those ensembles I haven't had time to do. But they are beginning to be well accepted. They are like my own "thrift" Polyvores, huh? Have a tremendous day, dear friend, a tremendous day!!! ♥
Exquisite, my dear friend...
You have given us yet another magical and inspirational gift...
As the world around us begins its re-birth on this first day of Spring, your timeless message rings especially true...
A blessing you are :) And hooray for life's poets like Mary Oliver...and YOU!
Merci pour ce reve extraordinaire!
LOVE YOU!
Dear Anita ~
How wonderful to enjoy this glorious post on the first day of spring! I have been traveling and just returned home. Sadly spring is not quite here yet, but I can sense its arrival. Despite the snow, the birds have returned and my early bulbs are finally pushing up.
Cheers,
Loi
Happy first day of Spring dear one. Thinking of you this evening and smiling from ear to ear. Love you.
I just had to come back for more incredible beauty and inspiration my dear!!!!!
~ Violet
you, Anita, continue to feed my soul! just this morning a mocking bird woke me, going through it's repertoire of vast creatures. they always make me laugh, especially when they imitate crickets and frogs. to pay attention and be astonished...yes, to all the small free gifts each day can bring. wishing you a CREATIVE WEEKEND. (oh, like I need to say that ;) xoxo
Anita,
Your message a few days ago warmed my day! It's so nice to be thought of. Thank you for your friendship. I always love seeing your name pop up in my email. ((Hugs)) & Happy Spring!
Keri
Anita!
I am paying attention "outside my window"
to Spring here on my pennisula! So happy
you like my "Gazebo." It was a little something
inserted into an artfulfairytale which I did some
time back. Which makes me think its time for
another one...maybe even a give away! Ah
now that could be a fun thing!
Spring is such a wonder except of course
when everyone is suffering from allergies,
as we all are. It is the worst year for allergies
in thirty years.......blame it on old man winter!
Drinking tea hoping for relief as I get
ready to study math! Finishing my degree
has never been more fun!
Happy Saturday Wishes!!!!
TAH DAH! teeheeee. Thank you dear friend for coming over to play... So happy you enjoyed
bisous!
Anita,
How have I missed you! I love your blog and I am so happy you found me for now I have found you. Thanks so much I am a new follower. Your pictures are stunning.

Thanks for sharing all the inspiration dear friend - love your kind and gentle spirit and so grateful for your friendship.

Anita, you leave such thought provoking messages on my blog, my friend...I found this quote tonight while searching for something special; "creative work takes more self-discipline than any other endeavor...Involving both the process and the product"...and I don't know the author, but...
I remember when I first brought this up to my afterschool kids...they looked at me with heads cocked, huh...so we have had some eye opening discussions on enjoying the process, I say. one little boy said to me last year...I never knew I liked to do this stuff Mrs. Miller (when I found him staring at his collage I posted on a wall) I love it! he says and then mentioned that "it sure is fun to do it with you and the other kids too" priceless! xoxo
ahem...I am ready (musical note)
yes, artwand@hotmail.com
I am a wee bit excited...
my father was full blooded French; he would say the only French he knew were: "Mow de Lawn"~~"coot le gros (grass)" and "Cod-a-Lock Coop-de-veel"...he made me laugh every time, oui? xoxo
Thank you for wandering over again Anita.. Something tells me you have sorted things out, and the poem is finished?
Your words have touched my heart... Yes, that little boy of not yet two, is the light of my life.. He has grown into a wonderful man.
Enjoy your evening,
Bisous!

Hi Anita,
I was just over at Martina's blog and saw the beautiful portrait of you! I love it!!! Lucky you...I bet you're thrilled with it. So much fun!
Have a great week!
Heidi
Dear Anita, I was so in need of a wake up call of beauty, hope and love. I hate feeling sorry for my miserable self when there is so much beauty in this world. everynight, when I get home, I stand in my courtyard and look at the stars ir makes me feel a part of the mystery that is so much grander than ourselves. My husband gave me an amazing app "sky guide", it opened a whole new world of stars..
ANITA!!!! Hi lovely friend - i was so happy to come home and see that you do like your portrait and feel yourself in it I'm always a little nervous when i draw someone i know, because - of course i want to make them look their best! Looking at your pictures, i found that, yes, your smile is very characteristic of you and you hadn't changed much over the years. You are really sparkling and shining your light and that is, what keeps people young and - beautiful! And Paris really fits to you - a city of soft and elegant greys and pastels, a historic site but also always fresh and new, considering all the art and fashion!
Hop you have a wonderful day - thinking of you and sending you sunshine!
Gorgeous and inspiring as always. Please don't ever stop sharing your gift. xo
It was very interesting to read and watch. I was at Martina's blog and saw the portrait of you.
Thanks for sharing all the inspiration.
Enjoy your week.
I invite you to visit my blog.

I am always astonished when I come and visit you. You collect the most amazing images and put them together with such feeling and emotion - it is like a little happy place to come! Enjoy your day beautiful lady!
Oh my talented and beautiful friend-we will never lose touch. :) Just stopping back again to let you know I will certainly be forwarding links to my new digs and you won't have to follow twitter to get to it. I'm just having Stylemindchic moved to Wordpress. It will be found at stylemindchiclife.com. Easy, breezy-I hope. I agree, I'm not really into twitter but I do use it to publish blog posts. I also use Stumbleupon which I see in stats gives me lots of views-but probably not many comments. Ahhh, the backside of blogging. Just never lose the passion and creativity, Anita. You are such a gift to the blogging community!
xx, H
My friend, I had too come back to linger here once more.
I came for another stroll through the wonderment you offer us .
Upon the back of that beautiful brown horse I gaze through his ears out into the sun kissed field.
I stop for a moment at the crescent moon surrounded by stars .
I sit in the shadow of that fascinating gnarly tree .
I pick a few daisies and watch the ferns dance and flutter in the breeze.
That gorgeous fluffy feathered blue bird of happiness certainly does reside here ~
here where I marvel at the creativity of a beautiful seasoned sophisticated woman
that amazes me as she embraces her inner child .
I sigh with contentment .
Thank you my friend ,
Most Sincerely,
Willow
I'm sitting here listening and reading...all profound, remarkable and truly enchantingl. Thank you for sharing this, it started my day out in such a peaceful and blessed way.
Have a beautiful day.

Good morning dearest Anita! And - yes, OF COURSE you are allowed to post your portrait - and use it anyway you want to - sure, it makes me happy! So kind of you to spread the word about the upcoming article and let your readers know about Scarlet Pink.
I'll get down to finishing my answers for the interview with SP this afternoon i hope and select some pictures. Of course your portrait will be amongst them! Also, i'll have the print made over the weekend and send it to you. Could you e-mail me your postal address again?
Am exited - you know, i just got a comment from one of my readers, who said, she recognized you instantly on the portrait ;) You see - your smile & your style really do stand out! Keep sparkling and have a fantastic day! xox
hey Anita! I'm making progress by leaps and bounds. I still have to have a nap in the morning and the afternoon, but all things considered, less than a week after surgery, I feel pretty good. It is still a bit hard to blog and be at the computer a ton but I feel really good today. Thanks for the nice words and encouraging promise of spring and summer. I start chemo on 4-18 so get your Pink post, attitude or ensemble ready, k? Keep praying. I am collecting all the prayers I can, let me tell ya. ♥
I have a rosette topiary that is very similar to the vine going around the window in one of your pics above. So pretty.
Thank you for stopping by the table, friend. Hope you noticed my little note of gratitude to you for the scripted dove I used on my tag. :) It found its way to a most perfect spot, as did one of your golden metal pieces for another tag I made last week.
Have a lovely day.

Anita!!! dear and faithful one! My week has just zooooooooooooomed! It is Friday....and time to pop in to visit you.
It has been a busy 2 weeks...going here and there but it has been fun fun fun. My weekend plans are to put these busy feet {but happy} up and sip some tea and enjoy all my new books...we will see if that happens???! Anyways that is the plan and maybe a little redecorating of my home for SPRING!
You my friend....are just heading into your break....I hope it is amazing! Make every day count!...somehow make everyday a special day... I know that is what you do best! love to you always and always....xxxxxxxxxoooooo
Very well-said, Anita! I was just explaining this recently to my daughter in a letter. When one can find joy and delight in simple things, he/she will always be blessed. And sharing that joy and delight only multiplies the blessing. Peace.
Anita!
Gracious...winds are blowing from the north
keeping us all cool! So does this mean that
Spring is coming in like a Lion????
Stopping by to say happy weekend! Thanks for your visits this week!! Bisous
I am so blessed to be allowed to see the world again through my daughter's eyes.
Years ago, I had wondered if that's all there is. I was in a very dark place. Very dark and alone.
God taught me (through Gracie and Michael) that that is NEVER all there is.
Thank you for the reminder.

Hi Dear Friend!
I can't get over how beautiful these windows are on your blog header! If I had a house with them, I think I'd sit and just stare at them for hours. haha...Happy Friday to you! Are you on spring break soon? The kids in our area had spring break this week and go back to school on Monday. It's hard to believe that we're almost into the month of April! WOAH!
That was a great analogy of the clock ticking in fast motion and watching kids grow up. I'm sure you have seen that a lot with the students you have taught over the years. Each stage of their growth is a lot of fun. It keeps getting more and more fun watching M & S interact...
We had another beautiful rainbow tonight. This time it was a double rainbow. Yay! I hope you have a great weekend, Anita.
Enjoy!
xoxo

Bonjour Rosa! Je viens de voir votre commentaire ici, et je voudrais vous remercier de tout mon coeur! Je ne trouve pas de blog sous votre nom, alors, je vous laisse un commentaire ici. Bon dimanche! Anita
GEE WHIZ Anita...have I maybe said this before; i love the messages you leave on my blog. you are the sweetest ever! i love that you painted a table with chalk paint...this intrigues me as i see other people's work with this paint...they all look so different. and i guess it's the look one is after...i love the muted colors, and would like to try it out myself.
as for the paint i use; Golden fluid acrylics or HEAVY BODY in the same line are my go to. but i do paint with many other kinds, and it is a really good way to find out the differences for your own taste. even though i am sure there are volumes written on the subject, i think the only way would be your own tests and preferences. and i don't think any thing matters, EXCEPT for the lasting qualities, especially when we sell. that's my humble opinion. one humorous example from me would be....there is an 88cent craft paint i sometimes add to Golden's to get just the right illusion, usually in small doses. boy, i could write a book (snore) on all the products I've experimented with. and i have to say, it has all been worth it, learning more than one thing at a time (not just about the consistency, etc).
i must say too, on this same note; i have many friends that AGREE to DISAGREE on how paints work for them, what you are after and so on...I'm sure this paints you a pretty good picture...only no STRESS...just do it as they say! xoxo
oh...i forgot...no worries ever about getting back to me, ever. and i sure do know about the school time hours. when easter arrives here, that will be when i get a weeks break, yayyyy! and then come June 10th, i am retiring to paint away my days ;))))
I found it Anita...the traveling journal...your page is exquisite. and I so love that idea, where will it end up?
thank you for the name of the chalk paint. when warmer weather hits...i'll be searching.
I am an after school director (with an early childhood teaching certificate) the school is full of Kinders-8th graders. (my fav age was not pre-schoolers I found out in class). it is the best job on earth for me, yes teaching of sorts, about every minute...or listening, homework, art, crafts, nature hunts...keeps me younger than I am. I shall retire though as I mentioned...(soon to be 65 in July) I want my whole life to do over again, ha!!! but I will return to teach some art classes to the children and parents, they have given me the gift of trust and pure joy to entertain on both age levels. it's been a lifetime of learning and blessings, with all my doors and windows flung wide open to those little ones, teaching me something every day, and lots of HUMOR! I am sure you have an idea of this, teaching French and from just being a teacher period. we receive much more than we ever expected. I feel like I've repeated myself, hope not...trying to answer your questions. Have a marvelous writing week! xoxox
Oh Anita how beautiful....I love how you think, you have so much imagination! Warm Hugs, Dzintra xo
Once again, you have blurred the lines between what is and what I wish to be.
Thank you.
