Magical today my fine friends. Really special. We loved it. Hallelujah! You are truly blessed if you have found your special one no matter where you are or rich or poor. Have a super Saturday.

What a truly beautiful post...."Hallelujah" is one of my favorite songs and goes beautifully with this remarkable post! Thank you for sharing your magic, Anita! Have a very lovely weekend, my friend!! xoxo
My dear friend,
Such a wonderful way to start the day.. I know when I visit you here my heart will be touched...Such a beautiful post, and I love the music. You are a blessing.
Love, Penny
Beautiful post! Yay for weddings and graduations! Anita, are you on summer break now? I know you will be busy even when school is out with all of your creative endeavors...writing...etc.
Have a lovely weekend!
Heidi
Dearest Anita,
My lips are quivering a little with emotion; not visibly, I hope ;-) Such a poignant post which is true to life and poetic all at the same time. Perfect.
I hope you are both well and happy dear friend, and able to carve out some much needed creative time. Your soul depends on it, I believe.
Stephanie
I always feel like my comment is inadequate after your beautiful words. Before I commented, today I chose to read what others had said.
I must agree with Mea. When I see you have posted, it feels exactly like a gift, to be opened slowly, again and again. I savor the words and music and images and go back to my gift many times until you give me a new one.
Thank You!
A beautiful post of anticipation & Love and all the emotions of beginnings and endings....
A beautiful Memorial weekend to you,
xo

ANITA.. this hit home this morning as my youngest graduates in two weeks with her Masters in Accounting.. and what a journey that was! It is bittersweet. I am thankful we are relieved of the cost component BUT will miss the youthful college years as (now) both of my kids are out there in the adult working world. Yes, it all starts with a small seed and two people falling in love. Thank you for this beautiful post in honor of all Grads AND those that got them there!! xxleslie
Awh, my HM and I were married in June. Yup, I am a June Bride. Third time got it right. lol Lovely tribute to your two focals; love and education. Very well done my Minnesota friend, very well. Anita, please have a lovely holiday weekend and enjoy your time with your loving husband. I am feeling more well today. The symptoms are more mellow and that is wonderful! It is amazing how water and activity help get the symptoms to get out. I am on less pills this time too, which is a BIG difference. Be certain to see my post for Monday ...eeeek especially my hair, or the lack thereof. eeeeek. ♥, Renae
Dearest Anita, this is a truly beautiful post and “Hallelujah” is one of my favourite songs. I’m going to leave your blog page open so that I can continue to listen to it after I leave this comment.
It always amazed me how you convey so much meaning with your words love, hope, joy and sadness. I felt them all as I scrolled down.
Thank you dear friend, you just made my day. Have a lovely weekend. xxx

Anita,
Beautiful post today, so happy and excited to see a new one. My heart is joyful recalling all the motions of hopeful anticipation and plans built on a foundation of love. Oh the month of June, fresh starts indeed ... graduates and beginning of joined hearts, beautiful post dearest Anita. Precious photograph of the bride and groom capturing gleeful expectation. Thank you for such a poetic beautiful post.
XOXO,
Vera
Love the song and the photos and words fit beautifully with your theme.
What a sweet love post, Anita! Your words, images, and music fill my senses and carry me back to my own special time of falling in love. Sending hugs of friendship your way and wishes for a beautiful summer filled with joy.
SPECTACULAR!
Anita,
What a lovely post honoring the graduates and the couples who are getting married. Jess will graduate next month getting her Masters, and I get so emotional when I go to one of my loved one's graduations. This cottage with the purple roof and walkway is magical. Nel saw your cottage and said it looked just like a storybook cottage. She loved it. And this little boy catching the fish - his prize hehehe! You always come up with the most wonderful pictures to tell the story, Anita. Yes, all because two people fell in love......isn't it amazing all the goodness that comes after?
Have a peaceful weekend, dear Anita.
love,
~Sheri
Gorgeous post, Anita! I love June (my birthday falls on the summer solstice)! Birthdays, weddings, graduations, summer….so many wonderful moments making for lasting memories!
Wishing YOU a magical and memorable month ahead!

Anita, such a beautiful post. I would love to dream that dream. May I suggest listening to Rufus Wainwright's version of Hallelujah?
Anita, you have an amazing gift. Words fail me. Thank you for sharing your incredibly beautiful creativity with the world.
oh absolutely... HALLELUJAH.. for all of it!!! That piece of music is so beautiful, I often find myself humming it. We have just celebrated a milestone anniversary, as well as our first grandchild's graduation... not to mention my birthday right around the corner. :)

As Carol mentions it always difficult to find words to match your post it is simply beautiful.
Hope you are feeling more yourself.Sarah x

A beautiful post on love only from you, my friend!!! And just in time for summer - perhaps a fling?? :) Stay fabulous! xo
Beautiful-utterly beautiful. The music was a wonderful surprise. Thank-you for your lovely inspiring posts.
Made me cry :)

YES...
such simple words and gentle images to create a powerful message. As always, your marriage of words, images, and music to create one who experience is often intriguing, always touching.
So glad I'm able to find them again ... have a lovely weekend ... and thanks for sharing.
p.s. that song is one of my all-time favorites! I have a recording of it played (are you ready?) on the harp!
Oh thank you so much! I don't see a blog for you, but I come here to offer you my gratitude for such kind words. Merci mille fois! Anita
I LOVE THIS! How beautiful...love the line salvaged hearts keep beating, that is so on the money, I am feeling incredibly emotional lately with my baby graduation and its doing a number on me, let me tell you. I am marching on but not without a heavy heart that that part of my life is over:( Trying to see and find the beauty and joy in moving forward to this "next stage". I would love you to do a post on that subject, Anita...and i would be sure to have a crate not a box of tissues at the ready:) Enjoy your weekend sweet friend!
Dearest Anita,
Oh how wonderful it is to be able to come over to one of my FAVORITE places (and DEAREST of souls)
and be MOVED once again!!! (How I have missed coming here as I was cut off from the world for a while)
I loved to be touched by your magical thoughts for today!!! (and music)
Blessings and warmest HUGS, Linnie
Oh no, Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah... now I'm ruined for the rest of the day... over and over and over some more. He's so hypnotic. Your posts are a gift. Thank you for sharing your art with us. :)

Dearest Anita, what a sweet new post - and breathtaking pictures! Don't know, which one i love best - the atmosphere is great! Hope you have a lovely spring weekend with more sun and flowers! Here, we have roses now and i'm painting on the terrasse outside - a series in blue! Wish you could stop by and have tea with me! Thank you for your comment on my sketch - the day in town with Barbara was so much fun. Thinking of YOU and sending you hugs! M.
Good Sunday morning, Anita!
When I saw that you posted yesterday, I saved it until bedtime.
Yesterday, at the farm table, I sorted photographs from birth...to graduation...to marriage.
Your poetry, and chosen music, once again, was a perfectly timed lullaby for me...inducing seven hours of uninterrupted sleep.
beautiful!
grateful...
blessed...upon blessed...upon blessed!
Hallelujah, my friend!

Life can be most thrilling to those whose senses are in tune with God's. Your's surely are.Love Denise
To see the life with your eyes is such a wonderful dream, my dearest Anita...........how I loooooove this post so full of beauty, poetry and romance! Thank you so much for sharing all this emotional feelings and all the inspiration! And thank you sooooooo much for your lovely comment - you made my (sun-) day!!!!! Have a magical new week and enjoy every moment of this wonderful life!
With love and hugs, Jade and Sheila ;)
Usually, I'm here for the pictures, but this time I stayed for the words. How beautiful. How wonderfully constructed, turning back to the beginning and reminding us that events that feel small on the cosmic scale are actually full of significance. If there's no union then no birth, no handing forward of precious things. I loved this. (Also, going to steal the image of the runaway in the garden.)
Talk about FAIRYTALES..........gorgeous photos and video!
Adore the wedding dress at the end.............XX
Anita you have captured the heart of being in love. You stir the emotions of my own wedding day and all the wildness of love ...like Song of Songs 8:6-7.
I have copied your photo of the girl with her feet in the tide and have it as my wallpaper on my phone!
Summer is almost here for you and all the romance it holds.
xxo Kerrie
Oh Anita, how that espaliered tree with the broken branch speaks to me. I know that kind of heartbreak! C.S. Lewis said something about being able to see through life's enchantments, yet not be disenchanted-- that's love. Beautiful post!
Keri
Oh, Anita! I am crying too because of the beauty of the images and the music that I adore. I taught myself to play the guitar because of this song - it's so touching. You are such a romantic and I love it! Your words touch me so deeply because the man I love is across the seas at the moment and I'm missing him terribly. Thank you for reminding me that our love will last through it all and many blessings will result.
You are such a treasure to me, Anita. I've never known anyone quite like you and I'm sure that's because you're one of a kind. Much love to you, my friend. xoxo
Hello Anita
Lovely to see you posting again. Just because two people fell in love is a beautiful thought. May love always reside in your heart
Helen xx
thank you...this june bride was wed 33 years ago.....

happy june, anita.
Oh Yes, do go to the Greek Festival that's in your town some time.....you will have the best time I'm sure. I'm not doing much today, but it's nice to rest after a fun filled day yesterday. So glad I have blog friends like you to visit with. :~) I just love that picture of the boy and his fish. And that cottage with the purple roof makes me smile every time.
love,
~me
What a beautiful post, especially with the music. Thank you.

Chère Anita,
Je te remercie pour ta réaction aimable et je te souhaite des jours plein de joie et de bonheur.

Hi Anita,
Thanks so much for stopping by...that white and black pattern is actually a shower curtain. We've had it for years, but I still love it. When I brought it downstairs yesterday, Maximus asked me why I had the shower curtain and I explained that I needed to take Santino's weekly photo...and that I did the same thing for him when he was little. haha...
So happy to hear that you are going to be done with school in a couple of weeks. I bet you are counting down the days. It seems like you're going later this year. Perhaps for all of those snow days you guys had earlier?? Good and bad I suppose...But I bet you are just about as giddy as your students to be on summer break soon.
Have a lovely week...I just heard Santino on the baby monitor so I better say, bye bye in case I need to go see him.
Heidi
Beautiful words Anita, and of course your images and music fit beautifully with your message.
Karen
...and you lift me too...

Hello dearest Anita!!!!
Beautiful, new post!!!!!!!
How are you? Did you do anything for Memorial Day? We went out with friends for dinner and were supposed to go out Monday but it stormed here!!!!! The forecast called for a beautiful weekend & then changed last minute to storms on Saturday, Sunday, & Monday!!!!!
I styled the mannequins in my friend's boutique. That was so fun!!!! I used this beautiful, vintage, Pucci dress on one.
Hope you're doing great!!!!!
Love & Hugs,
Shannon
Romantically expressed, as only you can do with uniqueness , poetry and visuals. Hurrah for those couples who have found one another! Love is a many splendid thing. Sorry if I've been absent of late, so much going on and now being sick.. Of course, I shouldn't complain, knowing you've had the dreadful vertigo, I hope it is fading??
So many wonderful new beginnings this time of year brings. Fresh, exciting and full of life. I love it. Wonderful post dear friend!
Oh this is so beautiful. It made me think of Michael's wedding.
They went to Aruba for the honeymoon.
Hope I stay in this state of euphoria, your post put me in all day.

Hola mi amiga bella!!
I always feel like your posts are created just for me! I ran away from blog land to celebrate and nurture my soul mate who actually returned home the same day I made my last post on the blog. Are you on Summer break yet? Schools let out on Friday here. Much love. xx
What a beautiful tribute to love and life, Anita. A series of first steps and leaps of faith, lead to success and a journey filled with adventures, and joy! Lovely as always.
Hugs,
Patti
Oh sweet Anita! Thanks for cheering me to kick ARSE!!! Yes, this time (#2 chemo) has been a bunch better. I have had my energy return and the nausea virtually disappear. I still get a bit late at night but heck, going to bed cuts it and I sleep fine (with a few meds in me). Thank YOU for your dear friendship and lively spirit that keeps me going and helps me be a better person in having known you these years. I am so pleased by your happiness (and I still have your voice-mail message that make me smile each time I hear it). Have a wonderful end of the year at your school and enjoy your days of immediate vacation and just soak it all in. ♥, Renae

My dear Anita!
Thank you very much for stopping by my blog, I'm so sorry I wrote you in Spanish before. But apparently you understand me perfectly! Well!
You keep marking a distinctive and unique style, your aesthetic language full of beauty and poetry.
I always enjoy seeing what you show, your music, your photos!
I love knowing that you come from Basque family, they are noble and loyal, you have to be proud!, Is not it? Precisely because the area where I was born is not green, I always attracted there.
A huge and have a great weekend! Kiss!
Luisa

Dearest Anita, your post is so sweet! Excuse me for being so late, but my week was really busy and filled with people i had to rend to. A friend from the netherlands was here for some days, another friend moved to a new house, and i helped her, plus my current exebition ended and i had to prepare a little event for that. Now up for some rest! Hope your weekend is filled with pretties my dear one, and you can enjoy your wonderful garden! xox

( secret just between us ~ shh ~ yes I DO sing )
Your posts ,my wonderful friend, always speak directly to my soul as well.
Beautiful absolutely beautiful.
I hope you are having a splendid weekend Anita.
Have you walked barefoot on the beach yet ?
Hugs,

Anita,
I LOVE CHER! She has always been a favorite of mine. You should do a post about the resemblance between the two of you sometime, wouldn't that be fun? You used to draw and design your own clothes too? Wasn't it wonderful of our dear mothers to make these clothes for us? How talented they were. We are alike in so many ways........and as Cher sings in her popular song, I GOT YOU BABE! hehehhe
Have a beautiful Sunday.
love,
~Sheri
Anita!!!
I wrote you and my mom a really long email last night in response to yours and finishing the book but it's stuck in my outbox and won't SEND!!!!! AHHHHHH...not sure why...I will keep trying, but do you have another email address besides the gmail? Maybe that might work?
Off to do some shopping and will be back later...
Heidi
Another stunning post my dear Anita! My sweet oldest grandchild graduated this week from high school and I can't wait to see who he becomes. But to me, he will always be a winner.
Sending hugs...
Oh this made me teary eyed because this will be me June 2015! A bride looking forward to marrying her love! Cant wait! Thank you for such a romantic post.
Such a romantic post for a romantic month, Anita! I hope all is well with you...you made me smile this morning.
Hello dear Anita, how lovely of you to stop by - and leave such a wonderful message! Am so glad you like my colors - even though you're a person of the soft whites and greys! I do love these too, but the world needs both and - bright colours can be such a boost of energy and life! Am SO exited about the magazine and doubly thrilled that YOU wrote about me, as you know! Let's enjoy June sweet friend, and share all the pretties it brings! Cheers to a special and happy day! xox
Anita,
I just opened up my email this morning and the email that was in the outbox, FINALLY sent. I kept getting an error message...but after the 1st or 2nd one today it sent! I did copy and paste it but it wouldn't go through even with that before. Whew...So weird...anyway, it sent! That has been happening to me on some emails lately.
Hope you have a LOVELY day!
Heidi
Good morning, lovely friend. Thank you for visiting with me through the Weekend Door. :) It was so much fun. Hope you enjoyed yours too, and are off to a great new week.

Hello beautiful Anita!!!!!
How was your weekend?
It was hot here but we had Florida like weather where it's sunny & HOT until about 3:00 PM and thunderstorms pop up and go away pretty fast.
I couldn't believe Marilyn Monroe would have been 88 years old on the first of June had she lived. I always felt her style was pretty classic. She favored Levi's jeans, black capri pants, Pucci blouses, Chanel No. 5, red lipstick, & Ferragamo black kitten style heels.
Isabelle, our dog, is slowly getting better. On Thursday she finally began gently placing her paw down but still limps and is in pain. At least it's headedinbthe right direction. We're just hoping it's not neurological.....
Hope you had a wonderful Monday!!!!
Love & Hugs,
Shannon
So many life events going on this month. Such graceful, romantic images. Another beautifully crafted post.
came back to see your post again. Gosh! I haven't had a Pompano fish since I left Florida.
Well it's heating up at last in Maine, and along with it Mosquitoes. Better get the yard work done.
So far no black flies. yvonne
Dear Anita, love coming across to share in your elegant visions and romantic dreams. I hope all is going well in the land of CC&C, sending lots of love. Paul xoxo
breathtaking!
Dear sweet Anita,
Back again to enjoy an encore presentation of your lovely post. My heart sings with the photo of the boy with the fish. My Grand Dane loves to fish and does nearly everyday. I came back to check out the church you posted ... OMGosh it looks exactly like one in my neighborhood.
Enjoy your last week of school and the kickoff to your Summer of play.
XOXO,
Vera
Lovely photos and themes here Anita! Thanks for the ray of sunshine this morning. I have figured out that in order to stay energetic and keep the chemo symptoms at bay, I can only do a few things each day. Which is better than being stuck in bed all day. That only happens on the first few days after the infusion. After that I have to make sure I manage my energy, not too much, not too little. A few days last week I was so energetic, I was not believing my energy levels, but then I did too much and bammmm down I go again. So a little bit each day is perfect. I haven't barfed once, I haven't stayed awake in agony once and I haven't been able to exercise but it is all good. If the next 4 are like #2, I've got this!!! Happy day to you dear, sweet friend! happy day! ♥, Renae
Aw, such a beautiful post! really lovely.
Have a sweet day, Elizabeth
It's so crazy, I actually stopped everything and hunted down this Jeff Buckley tune last night. Always such a beautiful post Anita, it's like walking into wonderland :)
xo Mary Jo
Hi Dear Anita, so wonderful to visit this beautiful post once again. Each time one can see something new in your words and photos.
Thank you for stopping by and your kind comment. Wishing you a wonderful time when school lets out with hours of enjoyment in your garden.
Blessings and Hugs!
Well, I will be singing Hallelujah when my hair is back. I don't feel ugly at all. That is not the issue. It is the feel / what my head feels like, that is odd. 1/16th of an inch is just stubble that is so prickly or velcro like. I guess I didn't make that clear in my post. Oh well. I just learned today that a dear co cancer patient is now having to have her 4th surgery for cervical cancer. Just when her hair grows in to be substantial she has to have chemo AGAIN! Man, I count my blessing 100 times a day that I am not getting worse at all. Ah, thank you for your wonderful friendship and support. ♥, Renae
Je te souhaite une belle journée.

Beautiful!!!! I've missed your blog. Life has gotten way too busy. I'm loving this catch up time. Hope you have been well! xo
So beautiful! I'm glad I found your blog today, and will be coming back for a daily dose of beauty.
Thanks for stopping by today, my dear. Can you believe those girls and some of the dishes they ate in New Orleans.....alligator bites! I also heart that Jess' boyfriend tried the frog legs.....yikes! How are you doing on this lazy Sunday afternoon? We went to a festival yesterday. Did you hear about the Triple Crown race that went on yesterday? Well, one of the horses in Yuba City ran in that race, and there was a big festival that we went to in Yuba City. It was a long day but so much fun. Anita, there is a cupcake shop in this town, and you would not believe how amazing these cupcakes were. I took three home with me hehehe.
Have a beautiful Sunday, my friend.
love,
~Sheri
Anita this is so beautiful, and so timely. Our grandson was born last week...all because two fell in love. Bonnie
Oh Anita, you always write the most beautiful posts, accompanied by lovely images! What a lovely couple on one of the photo's. Somehow I get the feeling that they are familiar to you. Am I right?

Your beautiful gift of writing never disappoints my friend. Your articles shine in the new issue of Scarlet Pink. Your amazing talent combined with your deep love and faith.... not to mention creative spirit.... it's a magnificent combination and you deserve recognition. I wish SUPER big things for you!!! xoxo
Anita - everything about this post is awesome...your words, the song and the pictures. I hope you are having a lovely month of June.
Hello dearest Anita!!!!
How are you? Did you have a fun weekend? We had crazy weather here Saturday- we heard the tornado sirens go off twice in 20 minutes!!!! Luckily they were far enough away from our house.
I got the new Sharon Tate book called Recollection. It's amazing!!!! It focuses on Sharon's style and find memories recalled by family, friends, and co stars. It's great to see a book about her that isn't focusing on how she died. You would love the book!!!!
Hope you're having a wonderful Monday!!!!
Love & Hugs,
Shannon
I was thinking of you TOO sweet friend...wondering what your state would be like to visit...someday we will!!!
